The picture of overturned chair is in the ppt on RZ. If I attached it properly, should be below.

Oh, please! It's a DUI for .... sake. If everyone who drank and drove were picked up we'd have an epidemic. That was then; however, she is beyond that point in time & is considered a respected legal analyst. No one is without fault.....even you! Listen to what she has to say & you might just learn something.

So you're saying drinking & driving is okay? Yeah... okay... whatever! I respectfully 100% disagree with you, as I'm sure those who lost loved ones to drunk drivers would. Luckily she didn't kill anyone that night as she was driving drunk on 3 flat tires; and then proceeded to deny it for months & months. I am without fault in that respect... I have NEVER drove drunk or even slightly impaired EVER! I have a huge problem with that, as I do with her behavior toward the officers that arrested her whom she threatened their jobs. MOO.

Message really makes sense, as much as anything in the case, if

you keep the movie Pretty Woman in mind when you read it. Moo

Got a lot of laughs when I mentioned this before, but the large straggly plant below right of balcony is euphorbia ingens...a CACTUS. With thorns. Example closeup of a specimen below that shows the thorns.

The thorns could have torn/CUT RZ leg, causing bleeding.

Surprising though, that if a 100-pound body fell on it or against it, it would likely have broken off in places and those pieces would have fallen to the ground.

Quote "Also, item 28 is a plastic bag over item 36 a paint tube.

What was the reason for the plastic bag to be there? How did it get on top of the paint tube?"

It looks like she collected items around the house, put every thing in a bag and brought them upstairs. Or someone else brought them to the scene. Why 2 paint brushes, 2 knifes? Do you think the plastic bag was on top of the paint tube, and LE removed it for photo shot. Did RN paint door first, then come back to bag of supplies, remove rope and knifes and work on tying rope to bed. In the process of taking out knifes/rope, put bag over paint tube? Also there is a rectangle shaped item btwn the knives that is not on listed discovered items. What is it?

Looks like a fabric softener sheet.

Great photo CalElliot - really shows the entire room, along with tipped chair.

Why is there a fabric softener sheet sitting btwn the knives- did she wrap it around the knives before putting them in the plastic bag in prevention of getting cut?

I'm not sure that is a chair. It looks more like a vented laundry basket turned up on its side.

IMO

IMO, it is clearly a wicker chair tipped on its side. The "vented" part is the seat of the chair.

Also heard blood drops in hallway - not sure if true, and where exactly -possibly outside door. Very interesting her cell phone is right there, as if she was waiting for a call - in that case, why didn't she answer the phone when JS called. Was the crime happening at that time?

Which picture has her CELL PHONE in it?

Re candle, listed on diagram of scene outside, based on the diagram, I'm guessing below table.

Heard nothing about drops of blood. LE only said a "red stain"...odd that it was not identified.

There is a red blanket on top of the chair. Maybe it fell out of the blanket?

The cell phone is item #30, and on illustrated drawing. Its on the ground behind the door.

This is not Max's room. You would never put a 6 yo boy in a room at the end of the hallway with attached balcony! Most likely just a spare bedroom or computer room. Maybe she used it as her painting room.

Bonepile, How do I post attachments as big images rather than thumbnails?

The cell phone is on list of items in room, and on illustrated drawing.

The message supposedly went to voice mail and was subsequently erased (by whom?). Why can't police retrieve it? If I were her family I would have demanded her cell phone to see if it's possible to retrieve the message.

I find it so bizarre that they do not want the "painting" viewed by the public.

My thoughts with respect to this are being that RZ was an artist, her writing was most likely unique & more easily identifiable. I believe releasing the actual message would make it more obvious to all she didn't write it. Just my theory.

The teen(s) had to fly home, so the LE knows exactly when flight was scheduled. You would think the LE would have questioned RN sister and the teen boys who knew GS to collaborate when she left the mansion. Most likely, JS dropped GS at airport prior to going to gym. I read a post somewhere that her brother ES was at camp, so he may have already been gone. GS may have been gone, but I bet the teens had been sliding down railing or planking and maybe even RN or RN sister --- MS watched and tried it on his own, and fell. Or he was simply running down hallway -like many 6yo boys do- and was going to vier left down the stairs when tripped over dog and he was propelled over the stairs. Even if you tell kids no goofing around on the stairs, a 6 yo may do it when are in another room Freak accident. I don't blame either parent for being upset, but in the end nothing anyone could do. If JS had been home and eating breakfast, he still could not have saved MS.

It may very well be true that JS dropped the kids at the airport that morning before he went to the gym. But IF SO, why the heck would a high profile attorney go on national television and say otherwise? Isn't that problematic.

Two days ago, I expected to watch the press conference, listen to the reports and conclusions of the investigation, and to come away understanding with a certain degree of satisfaction as to what happened.

Unfortunately, the PC left me with more questions than answers.

Then, I learned that Rebecca was found with the blue tee shirt stuffed in her mouth.

Then there is this from the autopsy report:
"On the right superior parietal scalp there is a 2 x 1 inch subgaleal hemorrhage. On the right lateral frontal scalp there are two subgaleal hemorrhages measuring 3/4 x 1/2 inch and 1/2 x 1/4 inch. On the right lateral frontotemporal scalp, there is a 3/8 inch diameter subgaleal hemorrhage."

IMO, it sounds as if she was beaten about the head with a blunt instrument before she died.

I don't think it's outside the realm of possibilities that she may have been beaten unconscious (but still alive) before being hurled off the balcony, bound and gagged, to hang until she was dead.

I'm still wondering why her legs were bent @ the knees when she was found.

I'm still wondering about the loud music the neighbors said they heard at about 1:00 - 1:30 a.m. the night/morning she died.

I'm wondering why none of this information was addressed in the PC.

I understand why Rebecca's family has not accepted the determination of suicide. If it were my loved one, and the same circumstances I listed above were present, I wouldn't accept suicide, either, unless these circumstances could be explained to my satisfaction.

I would want more than a slide show presentation. I would want answers.

RZ sister Snowem Howarth comments re LE and the message:

“Things they said did not match and they said they had a text message on her phone that showed that
she was very unhappy, but they didn’t even say if it was from her or from someone else, or if someone
could have put it there.”

Or the room GS uses? It looks like a girls room.

No photo of the cell phone that we might be able to identify? On the floor, away from the bed, the desk, any furniture. Was it thrown aside by someone?

No photo of the towel or "red" stain?

Wonder if the rug and "framed object" taken from the house were taken from the first floor stairwell area and not the bedroom? They were not mentioned by LE in their PC either.

I bet she had the best - most likely iPhone or Droid. Read that it was a new phone. Maybe her AZ phone did not get good reception in CA, so she needed a phone that worked better. Must be one with texting capabilities if she really had a diary on the phone. That is another odd part of this story. Who has a diary on their phone? And there is something about the LE not being able to determine when diary started - why not?

In regards to Z family attorney- I would expect what she says is the truth. We know that JS machine has been trying to control media. So, this new attorney may be telling us the truth, but it is contradictory to prior incorrect stories fed to the media by PR firm. RN sister still alive, so she knows who was present when MS fell, so that truth will come out.
