How is it that RadarOnline has the scoop on this case much of the time. Is it that the Zahau family or RadarOline's "exclusive source" have not contacted more mainstream media outlets? Why not talk to Diane Sawyer?

And their competitor, TMZ has had much less, virtually nothing lately. A search on their site for Shacknai, Nalepa, or Zahau brings up.....nothing.I wonder who their deal is with. This is a Capital S Story but TMZ's in the bag for somebody, looks like. Harvey Levin, their boss, likely is chummy w Sitrick.

In Max's autopsy it says that Rebecca went to the restroom after last seeing Max in the kitchen. She then doesn't hear from him for 10 to 20 minutes. Then she said she heard the loud noise and found him at the bottom of the stairwell.

Let me stress that I am not blaming Rebecca for Max's accident. But if I heard that the person responsible for watching my 6 year old son had him out of her sight for 10 to 20 minutes, I would be beyond livid. I would also question her entire story, to be frank.

I hate that Rebecca's sister is now saying that Max loved Rebecca so much and would go home and tell Dina just how much he loved her. This is getting very ugly.

MOO

Ten to twenty minutes is also too long to leave a 6 yr old in the kitchen by himself in my opinion. What would he be doing all of that time? If he was eating, then why by himself? Or would he be making food by himself?
And would she need to be in the bathroom for 20 minutes when she is in charge of a 6 yr old?

I just think that her initial story about Max is hinky for some reason. Why are both of the Z ladies in the bathroom when that poor child careened over the balcony?

That's my train of thought as well. Maybe he is worried about the media??? Anyone seen any reports of what is going on at his house in AZ? It would be interesting to know if they are still employed by JS.
I live in paradise valley and, at my old house, I knew where he lived and used to see him jogging often. I do not know where he lives now though a campaigne contribution still showed his old address which is very odd as county records showed another party bought his old house several years ago.

He may have been eating his breakfast or watching TV. RN may have told him she would be in the bathroom and to come get her when he was done. She may have been putting on her makeup for the day, brushing her teeth, straightening her hair and had the bathroom door open. Perhaps JS was still there while she took her shower.

I've got questions about what actually went down that day also. In their typical way, LE just kind of went with a limited story that wrapped things up most simply (so they imagined and hoped). So JS and DS had their reasons to be suspicious. JS's statements sound as if he was fine with all the findings, but more likely he had nagging doubts imo.

And notice how many more people were at MS autopsy, as opposed to RZ's autopsy. Did anyone else notice that MS had a lot of cuts and bruises? Could that have all been from the fall? I suppose it is possible but something about the story of the death of innocent MS doesn't seem quite right to me.

What else is interesting?? Tried to google earth the address on the AR and it is just a number off from the business address of JS? I can see hiding the address from the public but wrong info? again? Why wasn't the coronado address listed? Wasn't it listed on RZ's as such? So wierd...

And, incredibly to me, they didn't even black out Rebecca's social security number on her autopsy report. That may be normal but just not right.

this is from RN's sister:

"Becky was extremely close with Max. They loved each other very, very much. Dina was jealous of that relationship between her son, and Becky,” Mary Zahau tells RadarOnline.com exclusively. “Max would spend so much time with Becky and then go home and tell Dina how much he loved Becky. If there was a school function or Max had a soccer game, Dina would sometimes demand that Becky not be there,"

WOW. I am sorry, but the more I learn about RN the more I feel she was possibly having mental issues. Did she seriously tell her family that Max loved her so much that his mom was jealous ? SERIOUSLY?

wow. What a sick thing to say and a sick thing for the sister to go around bragging about. And let's see, Becky was so very very close with Max, yet according to thew family, felt no guilt about his death during her watch.

Even though she says he had been out of her sight for up to 20 minutes and last seen by her in the kitchen? And she feels no pangs of guilt that he ended up dead at the foot of the stairs? I think she was the one with the mental issues, not DS.

Max's wasn't redacted, either.

As far as I'm concerned, both of their SS numbers should have been redacted before the reports were released - good grief, there's a huge problem in this country with identity theft!

You're correct, downstairs bathroom.
I couldn't find it in MS's autopsy report where it was reported what bathroom Rebecca used. Do you have a link? Thanks.

I have a 6 year old and 3 year old grandson, who live with me. My 6 year old grandson has Aspbergers and is 'somewhere on the spectrum' per his psychologist. He is a wonderful child. He also has issues at times.

If it is a normal day, he is perfectly able to be left to 'his own devices' for a 1/2 hour or so, as he knows where to find me or Mom. He will sometimes sit at the table alone to eat, if he is taking his time, or watching a video or cartoon while eating.

He knows right from wrong, safe and dangerous. He is all boy, but is also responsible enough to know how to behave.

If it is a bad day, no holds barred, he can't be alone that long, period.

It sounds like Rebecca was around Max regularly. I think she knew his capabilities ans how well he needed to be 'watched'. Rebecca could have been doing a number of things. Where are the washers and dryers. Maybe she went to the bathroom and was then cleaning it. Maybe she didn't feel well and actually needed to be IN the bathroom for 10 minutes.

In the beginning of the autopsy it states she didn't see Max for 10 minutes. Later it says 10 to 20 minutes. If Max knew where she was, the situation should have been fine. Especially with her leaving him downstairs.

Someone should have been eating with him, imo. Why leave a little boy all by himself to eat his breakfast alone in the kitchen? She was supposed to be watching him that day.

And if she was fixing her hair, doing her make-up, in the bathroom for 20 minutes when he flew over the balcony, then it blows my mind that she said she felt no guilt over it. imoo

Trying to catch up, I just wanted to say, even "Billionaires" have friends in low places, probably several. When you have that kind of money well it will buy you alot.

As far as LE being paid off or something along those lines. I have found that people have a tendency to act and do things differently when they find out people have money, in this case alot of money, it does something to people....

When my attorney found out that the ex's parents were loaded and that "mama bucks" would fork out for the fight, his entire demeanor changed right before my eyes. We went from hey we have a good case to well I'm not so sure now, really ? What changed in the last 5 mins to change that ... lol He was not the only attorney this happened with either as soon as they found out.
I just quit telling any new attorney about it, it's like they lost there b*!!'s or something....

Points well taken. But let's say that your grandson's father has a new girlfriend move in with him. And she becomes the usual caretaker for your grandson. How would you feel if he had a similar accident, and she said she had not seen him for 10 to 20 minutes and she had been in the bathroom when he fell over the balcony? Would you feel that she had done a good job watching him that day?

I heard it during the PC, but no, I'm sorry, I don't have a written link at the moment.

I completely understand what you are saying and I'm more of the hovering type, myself, frankly. However, it is just stll bizarro to me that this darling little boy died the way that he did. It just makes me think something else was going on.

MS autopsy report says that after Rebecca was in the bathroom for 10 minutes she heard a loud crash. Then later it says she last saw Max 10-20 minues before the crash. So she could have been doing something else the other 10 minutes that she had not seen him.

I guess what I am trying to say is that the way a parent takes care of their own child in the home is often slightly different than they expect from a caretaker or babysitter. RN was JS's girlfriend, and had agreed to take care of Max during the day. He was said to have a very athletic and adventurous, rambunctious kid. So leaving him to his own devices for up to 20 minutes while you are away in another private room like a bathroom is not right, imo.

If he was in his room or the playroom and she was in a nearby room where she coulod hear and keep a close eye, then great. But her sister was in the shower, and she was in the bathroom, leaving Max in the 27 room mansion all by himself. That is not safe, imo. And I do not blame DS for being angry at all.
