Yes, they do. They think Jonah's wealth has bought off four completely different police agencies.

Everyone involved would have to be in on the cover up. Didn't happen imo.

Because of those accusations among other things said by Bremner and the Z family is why JSs attorney found it necessary to write the letter to Anne.

IMO

Examiner.com did an interview with Anne Bremner. Here is what she said:

http://www.examiner.com/news-analys...ahau-family-attorney-debunks-suicide-findings

Reporter: How has the closing of this case, calling it a suicide, personally affected you and your beliefs in the judicial system?

Anne Bremner: "It has disillusioned me. I never used to think that there was a different standard of justice for those of wealth."

Do we have any serious painters on the thread? I've been wondering exactly what kind of paint that is.....it is in a flip top tube. Is it acrylic? Is it even paint that a painter would use? I really don't know, and have been wondering. I thought oils came with screw caps. Stencil paint has flip tops, but not that shape bottle. I've tried to search photos to find a similar tube but no luck. Why isn't there a label on the bottle?

a Google search of "master's touch acrylic paint" will provide some really good examples. I recall seeing a label in the paint tube but it was hard to decipher. I'm hoping to find it &:repost it forbidden.

I have the info! It is "Amsterdam" brand acrylic paint. no doubt about it. :)

THANK YOU Peaceful!! By jove, you've got it. Amsterdam it is:
[ame="http://www.amazon.com/Amsterdam-Standard-Acrylic-Oxide-Black/dp/B002YEFN7U/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1315640620&sr=8-1"]Amazon.com: Amsterdam Standard Series Acrylic - Oxide Black, 75 ml: Arts, Crafts & Sewing@@AMEPARAM@@http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/31FCEUzGnbL.@@AMEPARAM@@31FCEUzGnbL[/ame]

Now, why isn't the full label on this tube? How would only part of the label be left?

Ok, this is it for tonight. Please look at this link, originally posted by tvscum:
http://www.coronado.ca.us/egov/docs/1304105930_697174.pdf

Page 196 has a very detailed drawing of the current downstairs floor plan. If you enter the mansion from the back doorway you can either go to the powder room Rebecca must have been using that day on the left, or go straight in front to the foyer where Max was found, or take the stairwell just to the right and it will take you up to the room with the balcony. Hmmmmm. All opens off the courtyard.

:bedtime: Nite-nite.

So she was a painter and the message was painted with Amsterdam Acrylic Paint Tube.
My next question then is, Where were her paints kept? Was this area disturbed at all?

Another question I have is Did Jonah's brother go to the hospital to visit Max? If not, why did he come?

Here you go:
http://www.sdsheriff.net/coronado/images/rz8749.jpg

I've tried to blow it up so I could read the label, but I can't. I hoped a painter would simply recognize it.

Years ago I used to do palette knife painting with acrylics and then I discovered that you could hold the tube and by squeezing it you could paint directly from the tube. Since the paint brushes look fairly clean I am wondering if the tube was the paint brush or applicator for the lettering. If the tube was smaller it would definitely work.

It also bothers me that if you look at that photo there is no paint leaking from the tube, and from experience if you leave a tube open and drop it from any height there will be leakage as the paint spurts out. Is the placing of that tube just that ... placing? As in a staging?

Thanks for the photo by the way.

Now, why isn't the full label on this tube? How would only part of the label be left?

Labels on acrylic in my early days were printed and glued on and they simply pealed off, or got in the way of using a full tube as you squeezed the tubes down so you ripped them off. Now they are printed on, and sometimes through use the lettering and graphics rub off .. or in this case the lettering was "blocked" perhaps by the police so as not to ID the brand.

The tube looks hardly used, and again too perfectly "placed". Even the brush and the dog bone bothers me .. it looks like a "stage set" for a TV show or a film, not for a suicide or a murder.

I'm an artist and can answer the question about acrylic paint. Acrylic paint is a very common medium for artists to use. It can be used for posters, paintings, just about anything. It's a very thick paint that doesn't drip, but it can smear on your hands if you're generous in squeezing it from the tube.

Labels do often come off acrylic paints, if it's a glued label, particularly if it's got a single glued seam, so the lack of label doesn't bother me. In fact, nothing about the claims that Rebecca painted that message seem implausible to me. That doesn't mean that she did do it, just that it's not far fetched to imagine.

I am 5'3" tall and would have no problem painting a message on the same part of the door that Rebecca allegedly did. Again, did she do it? I don't know, but it's not out of the realm of likelihood.

Most artists, when painting signs or words, tend to use block letters, so the block letters aren't an issue either.

I guess the entire problem with this case, in my eyes, is the child's death. If only I could wrap my mind around what truly happened to him, I think everything else would fall into place. But since I can't accept the beginning of the story, I can't get to the ending, or so it seems.

My husband and I have two rambunctious boys. We both have a hard time believing Max's injuries happened the way that Rebecca claims they did. I'm not accusing her or anyone of anything. I just can't believe the child fell the way she claimed he did.

From this article:

Bremner said she and the family met with investigators for more than three hours this week and that the family was distraught over the conclusion. Zahau's sister Mary Zahau-Loehner said she disagreed with investigators and was disappointed with the conclusion.

Although Rebecca's family is clearly not satisfied with what they were told, the investigators did meet with them and reviewed the case for several hours. As I recall they flew to Missouri to meet with them.

Bremner said Zahau was not alone in the mansion when Max had his accident. She said that two of the child's teenage siblings were present and that Zahau was in the shower at the time of the accident. Max's mother and Jonah Shacknai were divorced, and Zahau had recently divorced as well.

To me this is why Bremner got hit with the cease and desist letter. She implied that GS and ES were in the house and, to me, implied that they were directly involved with Max's accident.

There are two families involved here and both suffered great losses. Both incidents are extremely bizarre and it is difficult to determine the causes, and I think that since the investigations truly could not provide satisfactory explanatins, the families are lashing out at each other. However ugly it may be, the Zahaus have every right to question these findings and the Shacknais have every right to defend themselves.

Having said that, I think that Mary Z-L. made a big mistake by giving the interview to Radar Online where she stated:

"Becky was extremely close with Max. They loved each other very, very much. Dina was jealous of that relationship between her son, and Becky,” Mary Zahau tells RadarOnline.com exclusively. “Max would spend so much time with Becky and then go home and tell Dina how much he loved Becky. If there was a school function or Max had a soccer game, Dina would sometimes demand that Becky not be there,"

From Jonah's statements about Rebecca since her death, I get the feeling that he does blame her in some way for Max's death. I'm not sure if he thinks she is directly or indirectly responsible, but he is very measured in his comments about her. And Dina more than likely thinks that Rebecca "stole" her husband and now her only son. I wouldn't be surprised if less than flattering stories start coming out about Rebecca. As I said before, this is getting very ugly.

Do we even know who was in the house with Rebecca and Max when he got injured? I keep hearing conflicting reports. First I heard it was Rebecca's 13 year old sister who had wounded hands from cleaning up the glass. Now I hear that Max's siblings were there.

I've also heard them say that Rebecca's little sister was the one in the shower, not Rebecca, at the time of the accident. Does anyone know for sure?

According to a trainer at RNs gym, she was planning a party for Tuesday night. If that was the case, why would she want to do something terrible to MS, as the party would be cancelled. I think MSs tragic fall was simply an accident.

The LE says RNs teen sister was in home with RN when MS fell. Neighborhood teens who know GS implied she was in town, but gone before paramedics arrived. So, she must have had early flight back home that morning before the MS accident.

LE said RN was in downstairs bathroom and RNs sister in shower. MS was in kitchen eating breakfast when RN went to bathroom, then went upstairs, then fell.

The party was planned after Max was injured. It allegedly occured the night before Rebecca died. Even though people say they were invited to the party, and neighbors think there was a party, the police don't seem to think the party happened.

This is where I got the information from:

I'm bothered by the part in the presentation that says the rope is "possibly from the garage". If the rope is the cause of death, is it not critically important to determine where it came from? How do they not know? Did Jonah recognize it but say he wasn't sure it was in the garage? Was it never in the house to begin with and the killer brought it with them? Just seems like an important detail to still be saying "possibly" about. Where did the murder weapon come from?! They don't know.

At the press conference it was said that the EMTs were there in a few short minutes after the 911 call came in about Max.

When they arrived Rebecca and her sister were the only ones there. They took statements from them. IIRC, LE took them to the police station and then brought them both back to the mansion afterward.

So the speculation has to be wrong about JSs other children being there at the time because that would mean Rebecca took the time to see they were gone by the time LE arrived and that also would mean that valuable time was wasted as Max lay there unresponsive and not breathing. I don't believe that happened at all.

There is no way that an adult would not seek immediate help for a young child who was in critical dire straights.

LE said that Rebecca was using the bathroom at the time and her sister was taking a shower in another bathroom.
