Same and I think that's why his last attorney withdrew from the case. That's kinda what I'm thinking, and that's why I've said, and I seem to be in the minority- that he'd never plead NGRI.

He's going to experience a real comeuppance in life- being told "No" for the first time in his life and facing real consequences- same as convicted murderers Bryan Kohlberger and now Kouri Richins.I wonder about that too. Too plead NGRI would acknowledge his mental illness. Unless he claims self defense, blaming his parents for provoking him isn’t going to prove he’s not guilty of murdering them. At best that could reduce his sentence after he was found guilty by introducing mitigating circumstances.
Self defense wouldn’t surprise me but if it can be proven one or both were in bed when he attacked them, that would be a tough sell. If not that, I think he’ll drag out this pretrial phase as long as possible, then plead guilty. He’s lost his control, nothing left to empower himself with. Representation by a PD, the same as other destitute accused men and women, is likely bruising to his ego.

Billy Crystal details final conversation with Rob Reiner before director’s tragic murder
“We had spent the night before together and [were] talking about our careers together,” the comedian said on “The Late Show With Stephen Colbert” Tuesday.pagesix.com
I tried to look it up, but the query wants to search by Case Number. I've found his case before in this database, but didn't write down the case number. Let's check and see if its anywhere in this thread.Any news on the next court date?
What a wonderful thing to have such a great friendship. It's all the more heartbreaking when they experienced such a tragedy.I can't link it because they're not on MSM accounts, but it's worth googling Rob Reiner and Billy Crystal on All in the Family: No Small Parts
11 minutes of the start of what became a lifelong friendship off the set. Very alive. A beautiful thing.
