Same here. Roman is never far from my mind as I follow the Gannon Stauch thread.

Yes, I'm following that one too.... :(

Hopefully, we will hear something soon, maybe even an arrest! I wonder if they have the Toxicology/pathology back yet?

Bumping for Roman. I know LE doesn't have to let the public know anything really, but surely they are aware people everywhere are anxiously waiting for any info. Hopefully this week we will get that info. but I do wonder and this is total speculation on my part, if a juvenile was somehow involved if we will ever no what really happened. After reading everything I could find on this case, I have thoughts.

CBS13 spoke with Placerville Police Chief Jim Ortega days after Lopez’s body was found about why little information has been released.

“We’re trying to keep as few details as possible out of the public domain so that we protect the integrity of the investigation and protect the potential jury pool if and when there is an arrest,” Ortega said.

But still, five weeks later, police have no arrests to report. The home where Roman Lopez last lived with his father, stepmother and 7 other children is occupied, but no one answered the door when CBS13 knocked.

FBI Now Involved In Roman Lopez Suspicious Death Case
That headline is sort of misleading. It sounds like the FBI is involved only because there were interviews which needed to be conducted out of the State of California. Instead of flying PPD detectives, they asked the FBI to do them. There was no other mention of involvement beyond the interviews.

Q: Are there any suspects at this point?

Nida: Because it's considered a suspicious death investigation, we are not considering people suspects.

Q: Explain that for me.

Nida: Because it’s not considered a homicide, so at this point, it’s not a criminal investigation. It’s an investigation, and so we do not call anyone suspects at this time.

Weird.
So he just laid down and died?
