NOTGUILTY CA - Ryan Bonari, Hit & run at Bob & Betty's, 2 hurt, Auburn, 16 Oct 2019 *arrest*

Hi @Niner, the court site currently says temporarily unavailable for criminal cases, but the jail roster has a date of 8/12/22…and as you know from when you could access it, it doesn’t say “what” it is.

@Suglo - just a bump... :D
@Niner Good morning. There is a trial assignment date on 8/12/22 at 8:30 am. There is also a PC 995 motion on 8/15/22 at 8:30 am. They also have a trial assignment - jury trial date of 9/22/22 at 8:30 am and an actual Jury Trial (time waived) of 9/26/22 at 8:30 am. We shall see if anything changes after the 8/12 hearing.

The court site always updates overnight but is usually back up around 3:00 am. When searching his name on the court site you have to put WarrenPerry as a last name and Skylar as a first. I couldn’t find his case for the longest time because they merged his two last names into one. Thanks for helping out though. I almost forgot about this one.

Thanks a bunch Suglo! :)

I thought you might be taking a vacation from WS as I had not seen you lately.... glad to see you "back".

and since I did not know "what" a PC 995 motion hearing was - had to look it up!

In California state criminal procedure, a motion to dismiss pursuant to Penal Code Section 995 gives the defendant the option of moving a trial court to dismiss their criminal case following a preliminary hearing at which the defendant was held to answer on one or more criminal charges.

Ah makes sense…I was up at 2:30am because I couldn’t sleep and saw this one pop up so I started digging.

Nice! Have a wonderful time with your sister :)

@Niner I finally got into the court website this morning. They held the trial confirming hearing and didn’t set another one. They moved the PC995 motion to this Friday, 8/26/22 at 8:30 am. Hopefully they won’t be doing maintenance on the website again this weekend. Trial is still set for the September dates. I’ll update you after the Friday hearing.

@Niner The PC995 Motion was heard yesterday and taken under submission by the Judge. They have set another “Motion” hearing for Monday 8/29/22 at 8:30 am but no idea what that is for. - edited to add that I found out what it is for - it’s for a motion to continue trial by the defense. I’ll check the docket again on Tuesday morning to update you. Hopefully the motion is denied.
