Anyone have a source for pink and white evidence tape? All I have ever seen are rolls of printed or plain colors with adhesive for sealing evidence in packages. Maybe I am not understanding the meaning of "evidence tape". as used here.

It doesn't have to necessarily be "evidence tape", as in something made specifically for law enforcement and provided by LE supply companies. If you Google "pink evidence tape", you see plenty of other things that are called safety tape or flagging tape. I used to work for a supply company that mainly catered to industrial/oilfield customers, and we sold vinyl tape in a variety of colors including pink. It can be used for a number of different marking purposes, but marking evidence could certainly be one of them.

Has Keith given any other local interviews besides the one on KRCR? I either forgot or never was aware of that one before yesterday. It was interesting to see and hear Keith in a context other than the ABC appearances.

One thing I’ll say about it – he seems to be genuinely distressed. While I continue to wonder about Sherri’s own involvement, it seems like it would be very difficult for Keith to fake the emotion that we see in that KRCR interview. JMHO.

In the KRCR video, @ 0:08 the other pink item is what I do know to be an evidence flag. you can watch it waving. It is further back from the edge of the road.

With all the possibilities regarding this case I can understand why he would be genuinely distressed, for more reasons than the possibility that his wife may have been kidnapped and tortured.

He never feared she may be dead in the woods. He only thought she was taken or abducted.

She would have to be taken/abducted first in order to be killed in the woods. And if my loved one is missing, even if I fear kidnapping, I'm not going to allow myself to go to such a dark place as dead or murdered. Certainly not in the immediate aftermath.

Hopefully this picture will help to explain how this is not a pink sports bra at all. The black part in the middle is not physically attached to the pink. Notice the grass that comes up between the pink and the black. The black appears to be a latex glove. Investigators have made a border around it with the pink tape.

As someone who sews, I pay a little more attention to fabric linings than others. I cannot imagine this fabric being used in a bra, especially a sports bra. But I'm also not sure that's the inside of a glove. It looks more like the lining of a pouch. The light could be throwing me off, but this does not look like the thinner, silkier lining used for clothing items. It looks like the sturdier stuff used for pouch and carrying bags.

I still don't know what to make of it. It's strange to me that the close-up pic doesn't quite match the far-away pic. I can't tell what it is. My first impression is that it's a bra or bikini top that has been outside for some time. The pink tape also looks like ribbon around something (look at the yellow ribbon hanging on the sign in the video).

I also find it strange that LE let a news camera get that close to marked evidence on the side of the road. The camera man could have kicked it or disturbed it very easily.

Is this in the same vicinity where the phone was found?

Not sure we need to be hung up on the clothes she was wearing when found- could be stuff someone picked up from a thrift shop/(second hand shop). Even Sherri herself, wearing a wig and makeup getting different clothes. Thrift shops probs do not have security cameras.????

I hope she was willing to have a rape kit taken, (we will probably never know her reaction to this question from LE) but the fact that she said she was not sexually assaulted probably means that a rape kit was not performed. So......did she have a liaison? Was she trying out the water with a new partner?

Did she need to inject some excitement into her marriage? Was she being controlled by someone outside her marriage to KP? We know KP was not involved and we have a LOT of history on SP but what about KP - I know we can't sleuth him but what I am getting at is - this investigation as focussed on SP and we need to keep in mind that perhaps somewhere there was someone in his past was totally jealous of his relationship with SP!

LE stated se said she wasn't sexually assaulted "and there was no evidence" of sexual assault. So it appears she was tested.

Nah. It's attached. I can tell from the gathers. The grass isn't coming up through. It's just too light to totally see on top of the pink. But you can see it vaguely.

If the pink is attached and part of the whole contraption, that points even more to it being a pouch of some kind. There are all kinds of pouches people use for jogging. But it could also be a random make up pouch that has nothing to do with this. A bra is unlikely on several levels, I think.

Nah, small local TV news cameras don't have those tabloid telephoto lenses, and the pink/black object was shot from someone standing directly over it (and they didn't use a tripod... sloppy.)

Looks more like a swimsuit top than a jogging bra, IMO.
IF the kidnapping is real I can believe it - someone mentioned using humiliation on her right from the beginning.
