From your link:

The suspects have three other children, and a baby girl who passed away in 2015. Authorities say Briseida is also currently 8 months pregnant.

Action News obtained court documents filed in 2017 by another man with whom she shares a child.

In the request for more visitation, the father says the boy and his siblings were previously removed by CPS and quote "no charges were filed against her.

"I feel like if she can get away with that situation, she is capable of getting away with other stuff as well." However, the father's request was denied.
Madera police conduct more interviews in case of Thaddeus Sran, charges could be filed Tuesday
BBM. Do I understand correctly that one of the children in the home is not the bio child of Sukhjinder Sran?

yes it seems so.

Little Man, you did not deserve any of this.

Heartbreaking.

this sounds like he was beat :( oh no poor baby
How anyone could hurt an innocent child just has me bewildered. Reading that made me sick! Poor little guy.

Why and how would they even hurt him to the point of killing him? He was barely walking, what got them SO angry to the point of killing their own son?

Just reading those charges and I'm wondering if that is all their charges or if more will be added? I can think of a few more they need to add on.

That's what I'm trying to figure out what made them react the way they did to hurt him. It's no excuse but I wonder if they had support services in place to help them at all or where they trying to do everything by themselves.

Investigators followed the evidence to the field where they found the 2-year-old four miles away from his Madera home.

The next trail could lead them to the Fresno County court archives.
...
Sukhjinder Sran's previous marriage ended in divorce, and Action News pulled up the court record, which details seven years of fighting over child support.

It also provides a glimpse into allegations of previous violence.

Sran's ex-wife called the police in 2017 after a child exchange during which she said Briseida Sran assaulted her, and Sukhjinder Sran pressured a child to lie about it.

IMO it’s difficult for parents who love and protect their children to understand how this can happen. I believe there will be evidence of significant long-term abuse in that household. I think the burning was done to try to cover up signs of that abuse. If that’s the case, I want to know how CPS justified leaving a special-needs child, or any child, in that home.

UGH, UGH, UGH, family just moved in, couple of weeks ago. Who has seen this boy before the move? everything is just a little more suspicious.
It cross my mind too.

I mean, I totally understand that. And I can't imagine how much work parents with special needs children need to do everyday, no weekends, no days off. But this is the second child dying under their care. It appears Thaddeus was just starting to walk, while it's kind of late for a 2-year-old, some perfectly healthy children do start pretty late too. I don't know the extent of his situation, but I would assume a special needs baby starting to walk at 2 is pretty good news.

It gets harder for me to understand because Thaddeus was barely walking, what would even push him to be so violent to him?

I might be wrong but I think I remember reading an article that said they were removed when the first baby died but when childs services closed that case they gave the kids back.

Last night a candlelight vigil was held to remember Thaddeus Sran in downtown Madera. A downtown business owner hired a local artist to paint Thaddeus’ portrait and a heartfelt message. As a community, we will heal together. Thaddeus deserved better than what happened to him and we as a community will continue to wrap our arms around families with special needs children.

We also want to thank our business community for their continued partnership throughout this tragic investigation. We had businesses working with us to fill rush orders for flyers, feeding 100 plus people with no notice, donating food, coffee, and cards of support which were brought to the police department, and providing video surveillance equipment and footage. We value our partnerships with all our businesses and know each one of you played a role in bringing justice for Thaddeus Sran. We thank you. GMC 3466

I believe that thread was closed, which is a shame because the local media has been completely silent on this case. That family had a long history with DSS, this is the second generation of kids in that family getting removed from DSS. Were any of the kids of the Sran family ever removed?
One of my early thoughts were of little Sherin Mathews whose parents weren't able to "accept" her because of her physical challenges. Remember how there were no pictures of her (Sherin) in their house?

Nothing made sense in Thaddeus' disappearance and the lack of the parents publicly appearing to plead for him just darkened the cloud. And of course hearing from LE that the parents stopped cooperating almost immediately sealed the deal.

IMO it's one thing to be overwhelmed by caring for a special needs child and quite another to choose to murder and burn that child. And I know you feel the same so I admire that you are able to look at the facts from all sides. I feel like I get more and more jaded with each case that ends with caretakers "solving" their problems with violence.
