Would some kind soul refresh my memory about batteries and if the car had been moved. I recall none of that. I DO recall that there had been no forced entry. PK had to use the garage door code.
Was Audrey's garage extra large? I'm no stranger to fast GM muscle cars and (in my experience) they don't leave a lot of room once parked in the garage.
From my memory the batteries had to do with PK. It was something about changing batteries. I've searched most of the threads and those terms don't produce what I'm looking for. Possible that I'm wrong and misremembering, I'll keep looking. Now I'm wondering where Audrey kept her car keys. Did she lock the car even though it was secured in the garage? Moreover, who would know where the keys were kept?
GM would have been able to tell LE the last time the car was active and how far it was driven. LE did take the car away for inspection, as I recall.
The keys came to mind immediately

It's been said by LE there was something about the crime that was borderline sexual in nature therefore I take this to be the motivator. Same with many other similar crimes, the target or recipient and the motive are one in the same.
Was a floorplan ever posted anywhere? A layout of the property and the garage would be helpful. Now that the house is gone it would probably be even harder to find since Audreys husband designed their home.
