Hoping everyone sticks around to keep the quest for Audrey's killer alive!
The trouble is there are so many contenders for that wicked role, yet only "auditioned" a few.Cast a wider net?
Worth trying and worth doing but who and where? Maybe to begin with think of "types" of unknowns I can think of:
1. young perp or perps from the high school I mean in Ancaster - perhaps with a troubled background but nothing that would lead anyone to suspect participation in crime against Audrey.
2. someone from her Westdale years again we can imagine someone off the radar - I have given my "The Conformist" idea before (from the film) where an ex-student calls up the teacher and requests a meeting. In the film political general motive could be that here or personal. For example students call up old teachers for references - or they have moved on to a career but need a trusted teacher's opinion on something... they could say they are making a film and want the teacher's participation - not sure how Audrey would react to this though.
3. someone from the world of the husbands and thus a motive unknown to us - the reason we cannot dismiss this is 1. husband's uncle's work with LE in Hamilton possibly still relevant IMO 2. Gleaves possibly living in Ancaster and Hamilton still relatives? 3. above all the murder premonition.
4. someone she met taking courses playing bridge coffee klatch. Interesting that scientists East European Middle Eastern playing bridge with her?
5. organized government (if so which?) hit I wish I was kidding. Possibly relating to Chalk River or some enquiry she was making. Could be wrong but I can imagine Audrey enjoying "finding someone out" proving the system rotten etc.
6. P.K. unwittingly a spy on Audrey - he was encouraged to take the job, from a friendship - "she would be a good mentor" etc. At times to be sure there are things that seem a bit elaborate.
Can anyone add or substract from this? Dotr's idea to expand our search is a good one but in what direction and how?
7. Someone from occult group interested in people living beside cemeteries.
8. Someone hiding an earlier crime e.g. the Susan Cadieux murder with relation possibly buried next door as per an earlier post I made.
