Would be interesting to know what kind of settlement BS was offering.

“They should either accept my offer or find a better one”.

I wonder too. If this was an offer of a settlement, I guess it could be said the cousins didn’t find a better one. Unusual though, for someone to offer a settlement because it generally implies accountability. Maybe Kerry will inform us what Barry was referring to.

That’s following the protective order, which means it was after the hearing.

The judge then did an excellent job of covering up the fact, that by July 31st, no Will had been found for Honey Sherman.

36] I have carefully reviewed the two estate files with an eye to determining whether there are parts of them that could be disclosed without revealing, directly or indirectly, the names, addresses or bequests left to beneficiaries of either estate or the names and addresses of the trustees. I have come to the conclusion that there is simply no meaningful part of either file that could be disclosed after making the number of redactions necessary to satisfy those conditions.

It’s a protective order. That’s the point. I don’t understand your objection.

My objection is the lack of proof no Will was found for Honey, beyond a news report leading toward conjecture and speculation.

The judge is issuing a protective order. He or she wouldn’t comment on the existence of the will. It’s hardly “covering up”.

Very hard to prove a negative, MW.

Apotex heir: A drug titan's son steps in at a company in transition
3 hours ago · Jonathon Sherman's first stint at Apotex Inc., his father's generic drug company, lasted just seven months. Fresh out of engineering school at Columbia University, Barry and Honey Sherman's only son ...

From the article above:
Mr. Watson is aggressively pruning Apotex’s portfolio of drugs, a project that began in the summer of 2017 when Barry Sherman was alive, then gathered speed last winter. The founder rarely abandoned a product or sold a patent. Mr. Watson has shut down or sold many of the company’s least profitable lines, although Apotex honours a policy of continuing to manufacture any drug where it is the sole producer. Apotex churns out 25 billion drug doses annually, and currently markets more than 300 products. Executives with rival firms say approximately 100 Apotex drugs were discontinued or put up for sale in the past year.

I mentioned this before: I noticed some of my prescriptions that were previously branded ‘Apo-‘ for Apotex are now branded ‘teva’, Apotex’s rival. I asked the pharmacist about it and he said their head buyers for the chain changed over to teva.

It’s been a year since Barry and Honey Sherman were killed. There are so many questions. So few answers

Idk, why I'm allowed to read, but all the better. Did we have this article already? Sorry, if.

In the year since, the Toronto police’s handling of the case has become almost as fundamental a mystery as the identity of the killer or killers, and the questions have only multiplied. Is it possible that investigators with the country’s largest municipal police service could make such a serious mistake? And, if so, what does that mean for the rest of the investigation, and for the potential of charges or conviction in the future?
-.-
Together, the Shermans were particularly renowned for their philanthropy, their patronage and influence extending deep into the realms of politics, art, health, education and the Jewish community.
-.-
Stories circulated that Honey had insulted Barry at a dinner party, that they argued about the new house they were building, that Honey used to say it would cost Barry $2-billion to get rid of her.
-.-
“Barry was murdered for money,” he said. “All I’m telling you is this: For somebody to get murdered in their own home, it’s personal. End of story.”
-.-
And in a cemetery not far away, a broad grey headstone marks two lives, with one ending.

WARMINGTON: Barry and Honey Sherman’s legacy endures, so does hunt for their killer a year later
"One thing Honey and Barry Sherman’s killers may not have counted on is there would be two sets of homicide detectives trying to chase them down — Toronto Police Homicide Insp. Hank Idsinga and his team as well as former Toronto homicide detective Tom Klatt and his all-star team of former homicide cops

And thousands of amateur sleuths too.

But that 42-day head start the killers had has proven to be troublesome for investigators."

"A year ago came a phone call from a senior Toronto Police officer explaining the story I was writing, from sources who had been inside the horrific crime scene in the pool area of the Old Colony Rd. home of the billionaire couple of Apotex fame and fortune who were saying the couple had been “executed,” was incorrect."
"There were two crimes scenes inside the house, said the officer, who suggested Honey had been struck by something near the front door and dragged to the pool area where she was suited up with a belt that was secured to a railing"

"For the family, as well as the public, to have confidence in that, it would be helpful if they could put out a description of a person of interest or the make and model of a nearby car, a grainy imagine of a person of interest from a neighbourhood security video.

Something."
"But here we are. a whole year since they were murdered, and it seems the killers just vanished into thin air.

Meanwhile, the Shermans from their graves are still trying to make the world a better place."

Warmington’s one year piece -

More about a year ago, Joe was writing a story with information from sources who had been inside the home, indicating the couple were “executed”. How this “senior” police officer knew Joe was writing that same story, he doesn’t say, but the officer puts a kibosh on it and tells Joe a different story which he then publishes. What still isn’t known, who was this officer and what was his motive? Maybe it’s as simple as in the early days and weeks it was a strategical tactic by LE to allow the killer/s to believe they’s gotten away with murder, to get lips flapping? A sure way to eliminate possible suspects, those who adamantly refused to believe a m/s occurred when if fact it didn’t.

“.....A year ago came a phone call from a senior Toronto Police officer explaining the story I was writing, from sources who had been inside the horrific crime scene in the pool area of the Old Colony Rd. home of the billionaire couple of Apotex fame and fortune who were saying the couple had been “executed,” was incorrect.

What this was, said the officer, was a murder-suicide with Honey being the lone murder victim.

There were two crimes scenes inside the house, said the officer, who suggested Honey had been struck by something near the front door and dragged to the pool area where she was suited up with a belt that was secured to a railing. It was also suggested police believed her husband then took his own life by hanging himself right beside her.....”

Snipped by me.

That’s the first time I’ve heard anything about the location of where Honey was first attacked.

Greenspan pointed out there are 9 entrances to the Sherman home. Why was the front entrance used to remove the deceased the day after they were found if that is where HS was first attacked?

Billionaire 'may have killed wife before committing suicide', police say

They could have parked the hearse in the underground parking without being captured by media photographers.

Question for @Kerry Winter : you said BS asked you to set up a hit to kill HS, you agreed to do so and arranged it before it was called off.

What would you receive from BS in that deal? There had to be a payoff. What was in it for you?

ETA: ‘Louis’ the hit man would expect a payoff, who would pay him?

Includes timeline.
One year later, still few answers in Sherman double homicides - CityNews Toronto
"Apotex Inc., the pharmaceutical company which was founded by the 75-year-old Sherman, paid tribute to the couple on its website on the anniversary of their deaths."

If Honey were attacked by the front door, a secondary crime scene, the realtor, the two clients, the house cleaner who let them in because the other realtor hadn’t arrived yet, then the other realtor....but nobody was alarmed by a pool of blood?

So much we don’t know, was any information disclosed by the unidentified senior police office factual? Warmington has never said if he had means to legitimize the identity of the person who called him. It’s also not clear why this secondary crime scene indicated a possible m/s as opposed to a violent attack. A person who was attacked near the front door indicates a strong possibility that a perp rang the doorbell and the victim unsuspectedly opened the door. With no forced entry.
