TSP also said that the main suspect NW was on their radar early in the investigation when they released the video to the public, which contradicts their initial court warrant requests and reported lack of interest in searching video surveillance.Yim’s comments sound absolutely ridiculous! Using his logic, why would police ever issue a description of a wanted person- after all, “the person could have changed clothes, so what good would a description do……. ?” Ridiculous.
With every revelation like this I get more and more convinced that LE fumbled this investigation terribly. Hard to believe the incompetence that seems to exist in the investigation.
They said that they withheld the video of the NW for 4 years "to protect their investigation". That was their first ridiculous statement. How could it hurt their investigation to release the NW video immediately to the public, and ask for help, as they did 4 years too late?
TPS's next ridiculous statement is why they didn't monitor the airports for the NW or other suspects who might flee the country. Yim stated TPS didn't monitor the airports because a perp might change his/her appearance, so why bother? How lame is that? They never even thought of monitoring the airports, because they had decided on a murder/suicide theory the day their bodies were found and that theory would influence their investigation for some time after the murders. jmo
