I think it's two things. It wasn't a happy home for them while they lived there by many accounts, then throw in a gruesome murder. At first I wondered the same, why not donate things to charity and take personal mementoes but these people are super rich and don't think like we do. They can buy whatever they want.

Photos, yes, but who's to say they didn't already have the same photos? As far as their furniture and other possessions, people have said most of it was old and not high end. If it was my parents' house and they were brutally murdered in their home, I might have felt the need to get what I wanted and then had it leveled. I don't think I would have wanted to spend any time there going through their personal possessions. My parents died decades apart and it was really hard going through their things but we had to, so as much as the thrifty part of me wishes they would have opened up to charity and donated things, especially kitchen appliances that could have been reused, I get it.

I believe he and the police both believe JS is involved. I haven't seen the last 2 episodes yet but after reading the book, listening to his podcast, reading his replies on the q and a, everything points to KD thinking JS is involved. Having said that, the cops are very tight lipped. But I also think that ending the documentary, focusing on JS, that says a lot about KD's thinking.

The 3rd episode mainly focused on FD’A and the 4th mainly focused on JS, and I wouldn’t be surprised if either of them were a POI, in my opinion. KD seems to lean his coverage towards JS and wants us to focus on him, imo.

The dynamics between KD and JS are fascinating. KD is in a unique power position in JS’s life. He doesn’t answer to him, isn’t a yes-man, and he knows the truth.

Yes there are places, but usually a guy knows a guy who knows a guy. (To put it in context, likely any one of the 25,000 plus mercenaries who belong to the Wagner Group in Russia, would take on such a job.)

Discretion and secrecy is key. The hitman, is likely more concerned about maintaining his own anonymity.

Of course they do, but for the possible Mastermind(s) in this case, it is not unusual for them to move around lots of money.
The use of crypto-currency is a way to avoid Law Enforcement scrutiny. BTW JS went to Japan prior murders to learn how to trade Crypto.

Pros usually charge enough to justify not re-contacting the MM. Re-contacting the MM could influence the MM to make a deal with LE and sell out the hitman.

This is no different. Then when you are dealing with billionaires and world travel, added in we have some pretty powerful people. It would only take a phone call or a fast visit in a park and bingo you have a contact of whom to hire for this job. JMO

yes.. i get to hear these stories about ppl looking for hit men on the web..and some would get busted..and in some countries you can get to hire a killer for bucks
but this is not your ordinary crime.. so I am thinking they would only go to only the most pro or the most secretive idk

This is older. It seems a bit rehearsed and is basically a promo for the beer company he had, but it gives some idea about what his baseline for communicating is, imo.

Very spoiled, entitled heirs of extremely rich parents murdering their parents for money has been a too common occurrence in our time -- the Menendez brothers in the USA, Dellan Millard, and Dennis Oland in Canada come to mind. I am sure there are many others, unfortunately, so I am not surprised that KD and quite possibly TPS have their suspicions. The old adage of "Follow the money" is very true about many things in life.IMO

Don't forget, his lawyer was calling him that night, we may never know the reason why. We also don't know if Honey had a will somewhere.
