Hmmm, I wonder if this is old investigative details, ruling out scenarios before focusing on a theory?

Either LE know who is responsible and are working hard to ensure they will not get off on any technicality or allow the defense attorney to suggest other unknown individuals are responsible and LE/Prosecutor's are locking down the case to be prosecuted with a slam dunk. Or all other leads have been concluded are not a factor in this case and they are starting over.

If HS was driven from the mall, I believe it was Sherway Gardens, they have cameras in the parking area everywhere.

And did HS know the person potentially driving her car. If a stranger wanted any $$ she took from the ATM, why not take it then and there, her old Lexus did not show off wealth?

wow still so many questions.
I think it said somewhere along the way, which mall it had been which H had visited prior to going home that evening, but I can't remember the name of it... but it wasn't Sherway Gardens for sure. imo.

I have the similar feeling that the police, and even KD, knows who is responsible, but the case isn’t strong enough yet.

KD said Honey went to Bayview Village mall which was about a five-minute drive from their former home. I also thought the theory of someone being in her SUV was an outdated one, but on Monday KD said the police are still investigating it.

oh wow Pandora's box just opened in my head. questions, questions, more questions and things that do not make logical sense to me, yet - anyway.

-they were looking at HS car in the first few days after finding the bodies, did they have the video from Wed night already and wondered if it was a shadow or person in the car with HS when she passed the neighbor's drive way? why search if M/S by husband?

interesting using google maps directions Shermans to Bayview Village, you see alternate faster routes, I wonder what BS & HS did, turn left on Forestheights and then right on to Gerald with a left on to Old Colony, or all the way down Bayview and 1 left on to Old Colony?

So NW and someone with HS would make 2 perps. why do we see NW and not the other perp on the video footage, how did they exit the home and leave if they came with HS? Do LE have video of 2 people in all the other camera data of the NW and this is why we only see the 1 release when they are alone?

What was the "issue" HS and IMO BS too were dealing with the day or two before their deaths. We get bits and pieces of friend and family memories shared but it is hard to put that into a timeline of relevance to the situation or not. Both broke routine, HS missed a meeting with out a heads up the day before, was decluttering her home that had already had showings and BS was pleasing HS and came home early as she had asked that Wed night. IMO they were "dealing" with something out of the normal.

The sale of the home before the new home is started, planning to live in condo? why did they need the 6.9 million for something? why sell now, at Christmas time, with plans to be away for the holidays?

Moving the date to visit daughter Alex and family multiple times. Note, via text, not many phone calls mentioned, again IMO shows they were juggling things or making some new family plans, maybe including HS having her own will?

did Honey's car have a garage door opener in it? did the perp enter her car from the driver side to access the garage door opener?

I am still curious to learn what direction the foot prints that the furnace maintenance guy saw on the driveway ramp were in, going in or out.

I caught this at the 16:30 mark, approximately.

“…his gaze caught some frozen footprints on one side of the heated driveway leading down the ramp to the underground garage..”

(One side of the heated ramp wasn’t working.)

I think he means the footprints led down the ramp towards the garage, but could he just be talking about the ramp leading to the garage?

I tend to believe that TPS know everything, and are just locking down the case.
1) Jack Kay said 'follow the money' and that I believe provides an excellent motive. There are other potential motives, (Big Pharma, lawsuit victim of Barry, disgruntled employee), but these are weak as compared to follow the money.

2) Highly likely the the perps had inside information on the Honey and Barry's habits and the house layout.

3) If Vegas put out odds on the culprit, who do you think they would have as the favorite? MOO

I suspect most of us have the same person as favourite, and we’d only get even money if we tried to back him.

It wasn’t Sherway Gardens. It was Bayview Village and there were no mall cameras at that mall.

I know that KD originally wrote in his 2019 book that there were no security cameras at Bayview Village mall, but he found out later through court records it wasn’t the case.

From his 2019 book:

From his 2021 article:

“While Barry stayed at work until about 8:30 p.m., Honey drove to Bayview Village shopping centre. The documents indicate she went to a CIBC branch between 7 p.m. and 8 p.m. and also to the MAC Cosmetics store inside the mall. It was not until four months after the murders that the police went to Bayview Village looking for security video. Most of the video had been overwritten but they were able to obtain footage of Honey at the CIBC branch. This part of the police documents is heavily redacted, but given that the branch would be long closed by the time Honey arrived it is possible the video police have shows Honey taking out cash from the ATM.”

ETA: I did a search for cctv camera footage of crimes at Bayview Village and found this from January, 2017.

A man followed a victim through Bayview Village Shopping Centre then violently attacked him outside of the mall and stole this wallet.

“Police believe the victim was followed by the suspect through sections of Bayview Village Shopping Centre before he was attacked.”

““Due to the significant violence used, and the predatory nature of the suspect, police are concerned for the safety of the public until this suspect is apprehended,” police said in a news release on Thursday.”

2021 rbbm. Slight modification of NW's estimated height.
''Multiple images of the unknown person trudging in heavy boots and a bulky winter coat along snowy sidewalks near the Sherman house at the time of the murders were discovered on numerous home security videos early in the investigation. By the summer of 2018, police had prepared a highly detailed analysis tracking the movements of the person, by then a possible suspect in the case.''

''Police found it suspicious that this person, caught on multiple video cameras, was walking in the neighbourhood between 9 p.m. and midnight, the time when police say the Shermans were killed. The person, the videos show, moves from east to west, walking at least two kilometres, until the person comes to a point “tight” to the Sherman home. The person, as police have revealed, spends a “suspicious” amount of time in an area near the Sherman home that is not covered by any of the neighbourhood home security cameras. Then the person leaves the same way the person arrived, heading east. The lone video police revealed to the public shows the person walking 1.3 kilometres east of the Sherman home, possibly heading to Leslie Street. The Sherman home is in a neighbourhood bounded by Bayview Avenue on the west and Leslie on the east.''

''According to the newly released documents, police have at least 20 video stills or videos from neighbourhood cameras showing this person''

but have determined the person’s height is between five-foot-six-and-three-quarters and five-foot-nine-and-a-half.''

''The builders meeting ended at 6:15 p.m. Honey headed to Bayview Village Mall to buy Hanukkah presents for Alexandra’s two children. A CIBC bank camera recorded footage of Honey, but that footage has not been made public by police. Honey was home from the mall just before 8 p.m. Barry stayed at Apotex until 8:30 p.m., sending emails about an issue with one of their India plants. His last email was sent to Jack Kay, who was in New York, at 8:23 p.m. Barry was home at Old Colony by 9 p.m.''

The mall did not have security cameras. But some stores did, like the cibc. As I’m sure you know, Cameras are generally found in all bank branches including their areas that have atms, manyofwhich have built in cameras also.

First time poster.....long time lurker! :)
Has any personal information ever come up about Fred? Age, where he grew up, where they met? Even a photo of what he looks like? Also, I noticed that Kevin would not/could not answer the questions about the heights of both Adam and Fred.... Anyone have knowledge that they're not tall men?
There's a picture in KD's book with JS and FM in it and FM appears shorter than JS in it. There's also a picture of AP and AA together regarding Green Storage and AP appears shorter than AA.

did Honey's car have a garage door opener in it? did the perp enter her car from the driver side to access the garage door opener?

I am still curious to learn what direction the foot prints that the furnace maintenance guy saw on the driveway ramp were in, going in or out.
If the killer was believed to have entered the house from the back through the backyard, were there any footprints ever found in the snow and/or mud there?

Very interesting documentary about this case-- there is a 10 million dollar reward in this case!
Seems like there are lots of potential suspects in this case?!

Reward has increased to $35 million.
"Closure will not be possible until those responsible for this evil act are brought to justice," Jonathon Sherman said in a statement shared exclusively with CBC Toronto.

To that end, Sherman said he's contributing an additional $25 million to the reward for information that leads to an arrest and conviction. This brings the total reward to $35 million.

The Sherman family had previously offered a $10-million reward for information leading to a conviction''.

''Honey and Barry Sherman had nothing on their calendar, friends were away and Barry’s life was a who’s who of suspects. He also owed a lot of money. If there ever was a perfect time to commit a horrendous murder and get away with it, this was it.
This is episode eight of “The Billionaire Murders: The hunt for the killers of Honey and Barry Sherman,” a “Suspicion” podcast probing the strange case of the famous Toronto couple who were found strangled in their north Toronto home in 2017.
