But IF the Scarborough findings were "freshly" placed but the Peel ones were not, why would a perp "hang on" to the remaining parts for weeks, unless there is some grotesque fascination with parts? A crime of passion or gang-violence "message" crime would likely, IMO, lead a perp to dump the evidence as quickly as possible, even if 2 different sites were selected. Conversely, if the Mississauga parts were resting as long as those in peel, why would the perp return to the area unless, again, because of some deep psychological fascination to visit the remains? I know there's the old saying about returning to the scene of thr crime generally, but I'm thinking especially of the "sexual component" / "trophy" in Audrey Gleave's murder, and wondering if this could be serial work, escalating over time. Honestly, I don't know. Maybe that's (overly) dramatic. It's hard not to put the worst spin on things like this in response to the sheer horror of the details.
Other ideas? I just hope the police ARE on the right trail.
