''A duty inspector at the scene told CP24 that a relative of the family alerted police to the situation. They also said two people were found inside with "signs of trauma." The age of the victims is not yet known.

Moments after arriving at the scene, media officer Const. Mandeep Khatra told CP24 that officers attended this address this morning around 8 a.m. to “check on wellbeing of occupants” and found two deceased people with “obvious signs of trauma.”

“At this time, the investigation is in its early stages and we are uncertain of the circumstances surrounding this event,” he said.

Speaking to reporters at the scene shortly after noon today, Khatra said this incident poses no risk to public safety.

He would not provide any more conclusive information about exactly what transpired.

Khatra would only say that the deceased lived in the area and there was no sign of forced entry.

He would not elaborate on whether or not the two people found dead knew each other, what kind of relationship they may have had, or if the suspect is deceased.

No one is in police custody at this time.''

''Another area resident named Karl Bousche who had worked with the couple at a transportation company said he too is “in shock” after hearing the news.

He said the deceased were both “very friendly people” who were “well-known in the neighbourhood” as they had a large dog they’d take out for walks every day.
CTV News has also learned that the deceased are the parents of two children.''

Thanks, from link, rbbm..

''Police say they are investigating this as a homicide. Whether it is one homicide or two, is yet to be revealed to the public.

This disturbing day in the town’s soon-to-be 175-year history started Tuesday with what Khatra described a “premise check” of an old brick house next to a Go station at 25 Princess St., just 100 metres from the main street, Queen St., which many consider to be Mississauga’s true downtown.''

''One who showed up was said by neighbours to be the deceased couple’s 20-year-old son, who was seen coming out of the apartment with what looked like a hamster in a cage and later a cat.

The man was not pleased to be photographed and expressed this verbally. He stayed around the scene, often sitting in his car, as police teams interviewed other tenants in the building.

One 18-year-old woman was in tears, saying she knew the family: “My friend is their daughter.''

''Another woman said she had worked with the couple at Pearson International Airport, but said they had been “laid off” as a result of refusing to be vaccinated for COVID-19.''
