I was hoping we'd see something about his arraignment today, I suppose there's still lots of time but I'm anxious to see what the charges are once the DA gets to take a look at the case

Wow, poor kid ... disturbing details in the arraignment, looks like he spent a year grooming her.
He's even more creepy looking than I thought he would be.Oh wow. That's so disturbing.
Trigger Warning** for the spoiler following:
For anyone not wanting to listen or cannot listen, it is claimed he
threatened to kill LS & "have sex with her dead corpse".
Something about ONLY the Rape II charge having a bail amount upsets me. Why does that charge alone have the potential for bail??updated from Clackamas court
That's suspicious. Did she know that something was about to go down?I listened to the June 12th episode of his show and his co-host says "We'll be back tomorrow... unless YOU go to prison or something"... wow. why the hell would she say that? That's wild. MOO.
This is just preliminary charges which can change but the FBI also has a hold so even if he were to come with bail he can't be released unless the FBI releases the hold.Something about ONLY the Rape II charge having a bail amount upsets me. Why does that charge alone have the potential for bail??
Thank goodness. This is just preliminary charges which can change but the FBI also has a hold so even if he were to come with bail he can't be released unless the FBI releases the hold.
what time on the podcast is this at? I flipped through it but didn't hear itThat's suspicious. Did she know that something was about to go down?
Did he think he would maybe be tried and sentenced in Canada, and maybe get a lesser sentence?I'm surprised that a man from Oregon targeted a child from Edmonton. Part of me is wondering whether he viewed Canada as some sort of third world country where it would be easier to get away with kidnapping a Canadian child rather than one in his own backyard.
Maybe that's what he was thinking - that a crime initiated in Canada would be tried entirely in Canada ... if he was extradited.Did he think he would maybe be tried and sentenced in Canada, and maybe get a lesser sentence?
