The camp jacket?
Yeah or even KM's distinctive T-shirt. I would love to know if this stuff was just strewn about shore like in a boat wreck or if it was more organized, like a camp.

The camo jacket? or the clothing that they were wearing in the video? Maybe they had a change of clothes?

Was just about to say that. If I were a betting woman I would put my money on that Bryer's camo jacket was one of the items.

I posted these a few threads back, but here they are again, just in case anyone's wondering what parts of the Nelson are like (btw, the music in the first one is by a great aboriginal group called A Tribe Called Red). Obviously the boat the RCMP found wouldn't get the suspects very far. Maybe across the river in a placid area, but certainly not up or down the river for any length, you need serious technical whitewater equipment for that. Plus skills of course.

In the second video, you get a glimpse of what the actual banks of the Nelson look like in parts.

But with the truck and camper burned, along with the RAV 4, how can they be certain of their fingerprints unless they have belongings from home to compare to.
same goes for dna. I would think from their home. seems a game controller would be a good place to start looking.

A local person had tweeted that backpacks were left near the Weir river and railroad crossing, but disappeared later. He mentioned LE visited the area, and posted a photo of the rocky area.

So Billy and Tamera Beardy were right to worry that these guys were in the area - they most likely were !

It’s notable that K&B didn’t attempt to steal the Beardy’s vehicle and escape back.

It makes me think this river saga and the abandoned fort at Port Nelson ( or York Landing) were their objectives

Disregarding the tragedy for a moment, as a former graphic designer I have to say this map is beautiful. Would it be too much work to include the Jade store stop for free coffee?

If you are taking requests, maybe add CD&LF's route in another colour?

could it be simple finger prints found on items?
Would they have their fingerprints if they have never been charged?

He saw thick smoke rising in the bushes, and had to search for 45 minutes to find the still burning, still upright SUV.

Billy Beardy was at the Rav4 within a short time of the fire being set. There are photographs of it with large flames. He waited 45 minutes in his vehicle with his wife & daughter. IIRC.

I've lost track, who are Billy and Tamera Becky?

Nice videos, thanks

Makes me wonder if videos like this, maps, google searches for their route and other planning information was all on that burned computer tower

They had warrants to search their homes so absolutely will have fingerprints to compare them to.

I apologize: Billy and Tamera Beardy ( I spelled their last name incorrectly)

They were the berry pickers that found the burning RAV4

It's always upset me that they were asked to stay with the vehicle. Crazy!

The RAV 4 could have been smoldering for a while before the thick flames and smoke were visible. I doubt they poured gasoline on it and then lit if on fire as that could have drawn people to the area, not leaving them enough time to get away.
Also, BS father said he was very good at camouflage so both could have been in the area the whole time without being noticed.

Is it possible that the boys abandoned the boat once they realized the bug situation and that they were being bitten alive? Maybe they did and had to leave all their stuff behind as they couldn’t carry it all. If this happened how far would they have to walk to reach a road side to get out of the bush? However the more this unfolds it looks like they did in fact drowned. IMO
