This comment came after learning the two were named as murder suspects on July 24th.
He was also interviewed 2 days prior while the 2 were known to be missing and gives no indication he was aware of untoward actions whatsoever. Just ordinary kids....very different from the “blaze of glory” interview.

I've never seen that interview either!
I'm really not trying to be mean (you guys know I wish for only good things for Bryer's dad going forward), but...he does not seem sober in this interview. I can't really blame him either, I mean his son was missing under very concerning circumstances and his dad already had existing issues. But anyway. JMO.
I hadn't actually watched this interview before now. Now I'm convinced he had no idea that they were planning anything. I think he knew his son better then anyone gave him credit for though. He said they were still out there, and he was right. Even though at first glance it didn't look good for them before they were made suspects.

A few of us have been saying that for a while now, that we think he knew Bryer much better than the rest of Bryer's family did. Bryer seemed to share a lot more of his life with him, and they had some uncanny similarities.
I don't think he had any idea of their plan. But, I have always seen him as a person with way more intuition than people give him credit for, or maybe even he realizes. It's very interesting to me that he mentioned the Airsoft rifle, survivalist stuff, AND video games. It's almost like he was connecting the dots in his head of the stuff the media would seize upon later. Like the ideas were already coalescing in his head of whether Bryer and Kam were the actual perpetrators, but he would never have come out and said it.
