If in fact they were spotted rummaging through a dumpster and are still wearing the same clothes as last week then I don’t think this was as planned as everyone originally thought. Maybe they aren’t two disgruntled teens that hate the world? They are running scared right now .

Do we know they planned anything?
Do we know they are disgruntled?
Do we know they hate the world?

The video games - what teen doesn’t play video games? Have you played any of the games they’ve mentioned? For one there’s very few games out there for teen boys that do not involve killing or survival themes. (They stop playing the Dora and Bob the Builder games long before teenage years). Now if they played GTA5 I could maybe agree that they were training for something lol. Their gaming style is nothing shocking to me, but then again I like playing video games and have been shocked at what goes on for “smack talk”, but then I’ve also talked to those same people and they are different when not online. As for the few stories from the classmates. I’m willing to bet Kam and Bryer were bullied because they were quiet and “didn’t fit in”. What better way to get other teens picking on you to leave you alone than to scare them badly enough that they avoid you. The hitler armband, a lot of times it’s a thing that’s used by teens as shock value and a way to try and prove independence. I find it curious that police searched their houses and as of yet have said nothing else about their armed and dangerous suspects. I believe if they had of found links to neonazi groups they would have said.

Thanks for that link. Has anyone read an update on the identification of the bearded guy seen in conversation with the two victims
Thanks for this reminder Andreee; you are most definitely right :) no more talk regarding the availability/quality of mental heath services as this most definitely is not an appropriate forum/setting. I do extend an apology as I was only initially trying to express my opinion about this case in relation to my experience with mental/emotional health.
I must apologize too, as I was guilty as well ;)

I was going to comment on this earlier, Port Alberni sometimes gets that cold at night in summer, so does Liard Hotsprings and Dease Lake: I think he'd have a jacket.

I wonder how much stuff they're carrying and whether they had a camp set up near the dump, that they ran back to. It would make tracking them easier if they did.
Even if they had a tarp of some sort to keep out of the elements would help them.

Like half this forum believes they are innocent lol.
That is not true. We are all running through different theories as we wait to find out the real story. That isn’t going to come from anyone on here. I think we can all agree that innocent people don’t behave the way they have behaved over the last few weeks. It’s just a matter of what are the guilty of.

Let's not understate the charge of second degree murder!

They needed a new getaway vehicle, and murdered the next suitable vehicle's driver.

Second degree murder is precisely what it is. Second degree murder. A very serious felony. But it's not first degree murder.

OTOH, I do believe that when combined with auto theft, it might become 1st degree. Seems very likely. But people shouldn't be saying they were charged with 3 murders, when they were not.

If they had not yet committed a crime (no earlier charges yet), then they weren't seeking a "getaway" car. They were seeking a car. They had crashed theirs and burned it. After they kill Prof Dyck they are definitely needing a getaway. If they killed Prof Dyck in order to steal his car, then I think that charge will go to 1st degree.

Now, reading between the lines, we can all see why RCMP think they may very well have committed earlier crimes, but right now, they are merely suspects/POI's in those crimes, there are no warrants (that I know of) and they have not been charged. Which is interesting. That's why we have been talking so much about what sort of evidence could link them to the earlier crimes.

There's every reason for them to surrender peacefully and work this out as best they can...

Doesn’t sound like it.

These two are lucky they aren’t in Texas.
LOL

There's a town in Oklahoma (Boley) where the locals unleashed lead on some bank robbers in the 1930s. It. Did. Not. End. Well. For. The. Criminals.

The timeline just seems so crazy for them to have been involved in the death of LF and CD.

They may have gone to Alberta first, and were heading to Yukon via Alaska Highway.

RCMP will provide timelines in the future, based on their purchases and text messages.

Yes, here is the invite info per the article:

"Favel (Bear Claw Clan Founder) said his group was responding to a request issued Friday by Sheldon Kent, acting grand chief of the Assembly of Manitoba Chiefs".

"The [acting] grand chief called yesterday to ask if we could send some teams to provide security for some of the First Nations that don't have RCMP service," Favel said.

"acting grand chief of the Assembly of Manitoba Chiefs" is not the RCMP
Really not sure how you are getting that.
They are not even close and generally speaking RCMP have a pretty tense relationship with most FN organizations.

Dont mean to be snippy but can you read a little more closely? You are posting proof you are wrong, as proof you are right. Thats gotta be confusing for some folks here especially considering how fast this forum moving right now

They both looked to be wearing the same footwear. Big and black. Looked durable to me. You can see their boots in the Coop video.

Now.. I took what I saw as them having a sort of soft summer high top boot -ish footwear.. It didn't look like trekking stuff, long distance trekking, didn't look waterproof, I don't know . I'll go and try and see it on one of the big screens here at work, . ( not the usual manner of skiving off, but permissible , depending on the subject. ) ..

IMO, this is what they were scavenging for at the dump. If it was, in fact, them at the dump.

I don't think any of this was planned. If it was planned I would expect to see some sort of manifesto or publication of why.

Also how they have been model citizens since the murders... does not compute.

I'm also leaning towards them being at the dump looking for things to help with shelter, warmth etc and not just food.

I have enough trouble keeping up with this thread which is sooo fast moving! I can't help but think about the massive efforts of searchers in keeping up and apprehending the 2 accused murderers! Not that there is any comparison of course, just a light comment.

They are working on the warrants. B.C. RCMP say they’re still working on charging suspects for Fowler, Deese murders

They can't cover 200-240 km in several days and "have a camp set up." They have been moving (a lot) and therefore, have to take their stuff. If their stuff included food, they wouldn't be at the dump.

Therefore, they have very little stuff (having burned it all in their truck fire). They left all the camping stuff in the RAV4, apparently, as well. If they left their stuff near the dump, good luck in getting it now that LE is so heavily involved and locals are very much on the look-out.

Anyone else think they will be heading onward wearing their same clothes...with no food...no guns...I doubt they ever had water filtration.
I agree, they didn't seem to have taken much at all from their truck and have only been shown wearing the same clothes for over a week now.

The group’s James Favel told reporters the pair were scavenging for food near a dump about 4.15pm local time and that they fled into thick trees when they were spotted.

York Landing, halfway between Lake Winnipeg and Hudson Bay, is home to less than 500 people. It is serviced by ferries which leave every few hours on a two-hour trip to Split Lake. bbm

Leroy Constant, Chief of the York Factory First Nation, said authorities were conducting “ground searches with dogs and heavily armoured officers” but poor weather conditions were hampering the air search.

“Currently heavy winds are limiting helicopters and drones,” he wrote on Facebook

Keep an eye on Oz news feeds about to approach the evening news rush for them.

For those wanting to see the footage that was shot above the house see 7 News Sydney Twitter account. A reminder this footage is not confirmed, but the authorities asked those to stop posting it when it surfaced potentially indicating some form of accuracy to it.

Someone asked if Canada has extradition law between provinces. The answer is no. Abolishment of Capital Punishment is a Federal Law. Law is consistent across the country.

Extradition kicks in when there's a request for someone in Canada to go to a place where law is considered more barbaric.
