Okay folks on the emotional side of this, if his "feelings are too much to bear" then seriously, honestly...why are there so many victims of these crimes? If feelings had EVER come into play these crimes would not have happened.

Pondering your post, i thought about RW's marriage, the image of he and ME walking through the hood holding hands. How can someone hate women so much and be married to one? Then I remembered a psychopath I once knew whose spouse was told by a psychiatrist, "he probably loves you as much as he is capable of loving anyone other than himself". While they may not feel what others feel, they are usually intelligent, able to be quite charming, and they present normally in day-to-day life because they mirror what they believe to be the appropriate actions, behaviours, mannerisms based on their observations of others.

Not an expert here, but that's my basic understanding.

We are probably trying to understand something that even psychiatrists do not fully understand. I believe RW will turn out to be a very interesting study for profilers.

ETA: I go back to LE's curious question to Larry J ... whether he had been molested by his mother. I have to think that question was based on something that the perp may have said to his victim (might somehow explain the baby blanket souvenir) .. but IMO, this could simply be the "little boy" anger towards his mother and wanting to humiliate and dominate for whatever reason, not necessarily that he had been molested.

I have searched for an address for a CFB language school in Gatineau, Quebec and have not been able to find one. RW's biography states that he did 6 months of language training there. Does anyone know where that might have been???

Are you not from Canada, PP? Tim Hortons has almost 3000 franchises in this country. You'd be hard pressed to drive three blocks without running into one. It's "Canada's largest food service operator." The many references in these cases are not significant, IMO.

Some of the sleuthing and the theories seem to be intertwining at times. I found myself deleting an entire response last night because I was tired and realized i had mixed the two cases up in my head with respect to the transportation aspect (JL at Tri-Board and LC on the bus to DR and trying to determine if RW possibly factors into LC's disappearance).

I really don't think he has any intention of killing himself. I think both the suicide attempt and the hunger strike are both means of getting placed in a lower security situation....either general hospital or psychiatric hospital where he can manipulate people and have a better opportunity of escaping. JMO

If RW could escape from jail he would have to do something about that jaw of his--a dead give away unless he disguised himself as Jay Leno!

I don't understand why he didn't get that underbite fixed!
