If they did bring Nick to the Edmonton area, stage the body in the same type of car, set it on fire and headed south, this is terrible but for the family and friends it will be finally confirmation other than the alternative to dumping the body anywhere between Calgary and Cranbrook.

Such sad news. RIP Nick. Prayers to his wife and children.

I certainly hope that the burnt out car in Stony Plain has been ruled out as Nick Lush. I think that for the families sake the RCMP from various jurisdictions would work together to ensure or rule out the the identity of the person in the car before announcing the first degree murder charges and thay they have not recovered the body of Nick Lush.

Sidebar on CTV article (caption between the two pictures) says that family confirmed body was found. Article states that RCMP says it has not been found. CTV error on the site or family misunderstanding, or family knows but RCMP not ready to confirm, or ???
So, so sad for this family.

I went to both junior high and high school with a guy who would go out looking for fights like others would treat themselves to chocolate. It was his fix, that thing that he needed. many years later thru an old friend, they said he still went out finding opponents for his kicks.

If you look thru CB's FB posts (someone should get a screen shot of it) he and another friend mockingly discuss fighting.

question is,, did cb ever get his rocks off on someone else who might not have been noticed missing?

Goerzen is set to appear in Cochrane provincial court on April 14 and Bauer will be in court on April 21.

Bauer has prior convictions for possession of stolen property and causing a disturbance. Goerzen has no prior convictions in Alberta. "

I think that link from CBC has an error - The way it reads should be that Goerzen had the priors... They were laying out the prior charges and the new charges and I think they put the name Lush in by mistake.

Given the NL's wife's comments on his FB, It looks pretty clear that the couple knew Cody. Additionally, NL is listed as one of CB's FB friends.
