It seems that Ryan's story is gaining traction and this might result in a witness coming forward to provide information about his disappearance.
Hope so and very soon. This whole missing person case is just bizarre. Come on whoever knows, time to give it up. The truth will come out so do it now, because you have a heart and care about Ryan and his family!!!!!!!!!!!It seems that Ryan's story is gaining traction and this might result in a witness coming forward to provide information about his disappearance.
Hopefully before long someone will step up and help. This poor Family has been through too much already. If someone is reading this and knows, please just let someone know where Ryan is. To lose a child and never have closure is too much for a Family to take. Please. He's been missing for almost a year now...I hope he will be found soon.
Much new information shared that will hopefully bring this young Man home to his family soon. Tough to listen to. Heartbreaking for any parent. The Vanished Podcast just did an episode on Ryan Shtuka where his mom is interviewed:
EPISODE 152: Ryan Shtuka
I found it kind of odd that his mom was saying she understands why Ecstasy would be taken by her son, to make him more sociable... Ecstasy does a lot more than make a person more sociable. It could have drastically changed his attitude, perception, and normal behavior. I am also wondering if all the people have been questioned at this party? And shouldn't there be TONS of pictures possible to sort through or people at that party?? Pictures/videos are constantly being taken and uploaded onto social media... have peoples accounts been looked at that were at this party? After listening to the newest podcast I did research and MDMA is the drug ecstasy. From what I have read it can very much change a person's personality depending on the amount of usage. Kids smoke your weed, drink you booze but stay off the hard stuff. There is obviously a problem at this Resort if this is what goes on after working hours.

Never thought about party pics. I imagine most young people have tons, they always have their phones in their hands taking selfies etc. There are so many unanswered questions in this case. I would be interested to know how many of Ryan's friends also took ecstasy that night? The more interviews Ryan's Mom does the more information comes out. Sure would be great for the Family if this could be solved before the New Year.I found it kind of odd that his mom was saying she understands why Ecstasy would be taken by her son, to make him more sociable... From the research I have done if one takes MDMA, drinks alcohol, smokes bit of weed can make the effects much more serious. I have no knowledge of this or any illegal drugs. If all the roomies did MDMA that night why did they make it home safe and not Ryan???????????The MDMA thing stood out to me the most from the podcast too. To my knowledge, if you do MDMA (dependant on what time he took it, let's say 9pm for arguments sake), there is no way you are going to want to go home and go to bed at 1am, you would want to stay up til at least 4-5am as the drug will still be in your system making you alert and buzzed. If I was the parents I would go down that avenue (if they haven't already). You probably wouldn't take the drug alone, so question who else took it with him, what their reactions were to it, and what time they went to bed. It could well have been he had a bad reaction to it and just walked off on a high and got covered in snow, but that's not really what the drug does, it generally doesn't cause disorientation. HOWEVER, if he had been drinking heavily as well, then that's a different story. I'm hoping this has all been questioned thoroughly because it would answer a fair amount of questions about timing and mind state.

Regarding MDMA and some possible associated effects on a first time user.
Thinking of using MDMA for the first time? Here are some things to think about | Global Drug Survey
"A person’s first drug experience can be particularly risky. The risks are likely to be higher if you are on your own, take the wrong dose, are in the wrong place or time or are already under the influence of something else – usually and probably most dangerously, alcohol. If people know more about what they are taking, how to take it and what to watch out for we believe they would be safer, especially on that very first occasion."
"DON’T GO SOLO: Don’t be on your own your mates are the best harm reduction you have, so stick with them. Ideally be with trusted friends or at least some who have used MDMA before and least one who will remain sober throughout the session. It’s far from ideal to take MDMA with a bunch of other people who have never tried it either. If something does occur and all of you are intoxicated there’s no one about sort things out. If you experience something you find uncomfortable or something you are not sure is normal (e.g. feeling hot and sweaty, suddenly realising you love everyone, thinking your jaw is locked or that you have an overwhelming need to poo) you need to be able to talk to someone. And someone who knows what you might be going through is fab – the reassurance a friend can give is so valuable and of course if you feel unwell, then there is someone to take care of you. Your mates are the best harm reduction you have, so stick with them. If you’re at a festival and plan on taking a walk, let someone know – or better still maybe take someone with you, stick with your mates. If you’re not at home, then know where you’ll be spending the night and how you’ll get there. "
"SAFE SPACE AND TRAVELS: Make sure you are in a familiar and safe place, don’t drive / cycle and avoid cliffs, pools, ponds and other big bodies of water. Being in safe familiar place is so important. Familiarity with your environments can provide reassurance when other things appear very strange. Because MDMA can also alter your sense of time, space and coordination it can be easy to accidentally hurt yourself if you misjudge your footing (for example if you’re high up near a window or cliff edge)."
