Based on reviewing her comments, cheap motel room photos, and Facebook page I am now wondering if she was involved in a high risk lifestyle.

The "whoring herself out" comment was covered upthread - She makes several references to LARP and Alliance is a LARP group in Calgary.

The "cheap motel rooms" are budgetary... Stand-up comedians don't make much money and they travel all over for gigs. She would stay where she could afford based on the paltry amount they pay.

IIRC in the presser it is said that SB's brother had made plans to meet his sister at Stage West and I think they said a day as to when those plans were made. I wonder if the conversation was on the phone, in person, or via text. They may have said in the presser.

I sometimes forget the rules here on WS. We can not post the exact FB comments. Something about rumours. I think my post where I quoted SB's sister FB fromyesterday is important. So you can go check it out to understand/ validate my interpretation of her comments...

She stated that the family does not find the speculation to be helpful and reiterates that if anyone has seen SB to contact police. They are still hopeful.

I noticed she has made a comment in one of her groups on Novemeber 27th at 4.06am - she says "so sad I didn't make it back in to Calgary in time for the show" - That status comment appears in the group ' Yuk Yuk's Calgary Development Night'. So she had obviously been out of town somewhere - this status is 24 hours after she was last seen (if she made the comment that is).

Strange on my FB, her comment is time stamped Nov 26th at 8:15pm in the Yuk Yuk's group and I'm unable to find any of her comments made on Nov 27th anywhere(?)

Good point! I wonder if anyone else can verify seeing her on those days. Who was the person to see her last before the person who says he saw her last?

I think the last people to 'see' her physically might've been the Edmonton audition group, but who knows who she texted/talked to after that.

I am curious what SB's activity was on her journey back to Calgary from Edmonton. I wonder if her bank statements show that she filled up with gas and bought food along the way. How did she get there and back, her car? A friend? Bus? Fly? Hitch?

when I had fb and I would leave my phone laying around at work, it wasn't uncommon for a co-worker to just open my phone and be right into my fb to post joke comments. if she left her phone behind maybe someone else was posting on it? did her later posts say sent from iphone or whatever? if too, she logged onto fb via someone elses phone but didn't log out, same thing.

and otto, good for you to google the warehouse, which is more an anything goes bar though listed as a gay bar. it's been a fixture of cowtown for many years, not even sure it's still around but a great fun place to check out if you come through this way,, the original owner also used to own a very successful junior oil & gas company and the parlayed it into the club. if I remember correctly, the underground (which is or was downstairs) could stay open beyond last call as long as they didn't sell wobbly pop, which doesn't matter as the dance-the-night-away crowd tends to use E.

I wonder if sb popped down to the shamrock to meet someone over a beer? lotsa cctv down that way with the trucking companies.

Facebook must convert the time to the place you are viewing it from. I am in the UK and Shannon's comment in the group was made at 4.06AM on the 27th. However, we are at least five hours ahead of the US, as many as eight in some states....which would mean her comment was made late in the evening of the 26th. I have learned something new today!!

seven hour time difference so the fb post would have been 9:06pm nov 26th.
wonder if she hopped a bandwagon to vansewer for the grey cup? she sounds quite the spontaneous type.

You're right on the money there News about the Alliance/LARP comment. I read a comment from a MSM article from a friend of hers that said her comment is about "a game she used to play with us called Alliance LARP." And that it "talked about fictional characters, not herself". So you nailed that one

Well there you go. That would explain why it shows as 27th in the pm for me...I am in Oz!!! Way infront of most of you!!! Sorry! Wish I knew that before I posted it :thinking:
