Especially if they are men [emoji39]

Try asking a man to determine what clothes are missing from a woman's wardrobe.
Some men are very observant and involved when with someone... and could easily do so.

That would strike me as an unfair generalization; it's prejudging. Myself, I would imagine that, male or female, a trained LEO would have more insight into something like this than most of the laypeople here, and would know what questions to ask.

Close your eyes... What am I wearing?
You are wearing your thinking cap to sleuth with, lest we are once again provided links to rooms for us to get.

Back to the couch you go.

My point was, *most* husbands are oblivious to what a woman has in her wardrobe and would be hard pressed to discern what was missing. Not you of course.

There was a photo somewhere of Shannon with a flower ring in her hair. Looked like a May Day Festival of sorts. I hope they can compare them with her stage photo's as she did perform in macabre style productions and hopefully someone is playing a sick joke and placing those pictures. This is very scary. Now more info should become available. Thanks for posting.
Here is the pic of Shannon with the flowers in her hair...

Does anyone know for sure it was really her to posted about the issue with the car brakes? Did her estranged hubby have access to her FB acct? Was that post about the brakes made from a computer or her phone? (which she apparently didn't leave the house with).

Also agree that one has to question if she for sure didn't leave home with anything other than her wallet/keys. She and hubby hadn't been married for more than a few months. Would he really know for sure what items of clothing and footwear and such she owned/what was missing? Couldn't she have still had a bag packed somewhere from when she went to Edmonton? If she was intending to leave, secretly, she could have easily had a bag stashed somewhere with lots of clothing. And we don't know her financial situation. She could have had a secret stash of cash (emergency fund) that nobody knew about.

If the hubby claims he last saw her at their place that night (morning) @ 12:30am, surely LE would have asked him if she told him where she was going (or if he asked her)......if so, curious what he told them.

Curious also to know why their brief marriage was on the rocks so quickly. Infidelity on someone's part? Did she find out something about him/his past that he was untruthful about? Not trying to be snoopy but the dynamics between them both might shed some light on where she went that night and what he knows about it all. Also wondering how long (a) they'd known each other.....(b) how long they'd been a couple before getting married.

Not familiar with the apartment building she lives in. Any storage rooms in the basement that tenants have access to? A crawl space? Would LE have thoroughly checked the building?

Would LE have had someone inspect her vehicle's brakes, just to rule out if someone had intentionally tampered with them to cause her harm?

Who was the last person to see her prior to her reportedly getting back home? Can anyone other than her husband verify that they saw her return from Edmonton? Is it just his "word" that he last saw her at 12:30am?

Maybe it's been mentioned before but it seems he was into acting as well. There's one video of her online.......it shows her in the passenger seat of a a car doing some kind of dialogue....and the male in the driver's seat who she's talking to looks like him.

Who is there though to say that she left with nothing? Obviously they could notice the car was still there, and perhaps her purse, if they're saying she only took her wallet. As LoisLane suggested, she could have been saving stacks of cash from tips or something, and she could have taken a bag, and who would really know which clothing pieces might be missing? I know my husband wouldn't have a clue which clothing pieces I took with me, if I went missing. I wonder how long this couple was supposedly separated? If it was already a 'messy divorce', I think it takes awhile to become messy, doesn't it? And if messy, then how can two people remain living in the same residence? I don't think for a minute that SB left 'permanently' at least, on her own accord. I think there is a possibility she could have gone out for a few hours perhaps, and then met with foul play of some kind. Or not gone out out all. Or not even arrived home at all. Although.. when did she write that FB post about the brakes? That must be assuming she had been home at that time since the car wasn't found stranded in Edmonton?

How " messy" can a divorce be when there are no kids and little assets in a marriage that didn't last a year? The relationship almost seemed to me was "contrived". I mean there wasn't any photos of them together or any kind of romantic connection, imo. If I didn't know he was a citizen I'd say it was an arranged marriage. What we don't know is if the neighbors heard any arguments in the days leading up to her disappearance. Also was there a mention of some personal "issues" stated by her sister early on? Were these issues the marriage or were they a mental health problem? Just throwing stuff out there to ponder..

In the article I read, it said there were only 2 pictures, and that on at least one of them, the face was obscured. I wonder who came up with the descriptive word of 'macabre', police or reporter? How bizarre for these to be found on trees !
ma·ca·bre
məˈkäbrə,məˈkäb/
adjective
adjective: macabre
disturbing and horrifying because of involvement with or depiction of death and injury.
"a macabre series of murders"
synonyms: gruesome, grisly, grim, gory, morbid, ghastly, unearthly, grotesque, hideous, horrific, shocking, dreadful, loathsome, repugnant, repulsive, sickening More

In the article, it states that the face was obscured by flowers. Did you run accross any of her performance pictures that were of the macabre variety? The only one I found was a zombie like Halloween costume.

It seems to have been her because she was conversing after posting it as well. At bottom of that post, her last post was the weird one in regard to missing 'Alliance', which on my FB states the time written as being Nov.27th at 12:06am (which is only 25 minutes prior to when her husband said he last saw her, but I understand FB puts 'my time' in there instead of 'her time', and I am an hour ahead of her (in ON)). What date/time is that comment made for those also in Calgary?

Is one of the alliance members responsible for this? Sounds like something that would follow their mindset. is Shannon involved?

Not much new information other than the fact that the link to this case is attributed to investigators:

CALGARY – Police are investigating a bizarre discovery in Fish Creek Park to see if it could be connected to the disappearance of a missing Calgary woman.

Photos of a woman with her face masked were discovered attached to trees in the provincial park earlier this week.

I haven't seen any close-up stage photos besides what is on her FB. Her father has some pics from about 5 or six years ago of a much younger Shannon. They were at a interactive theatre event and they were all covered in blood.

I can't watch Zombies...

Now seems to have been removed..
If someone wanted to mess with their partner, disappearing certainly would do it. A" Gone Girl' vibe, would actually be welcome in this increasingly serious and worrying case, imo.

I clicked the link... I can see the photo.

http://www.calgarysun.com/2014/12/1...fish-creek-park-after-mysterious-photos-found

"It’s believed the photos have been in the park less than two weeks.

A source said Burgess’ family has been alerted to the search.

While not yet involved, the homicide unit has been apprised of the situation, according to a source.

A cadaver dog was in the park Tuesday and will return Wednesday.

It’s expected the Calgary Search and Rescue Association will be involved in a grid search, said a source"
