No... I'm not saying that JB wouldn't have known that SB was not at home for all of those days.. he definitely would have known that.. I'm saying that he would not necessarily have known that she was 'missing', and that nobody knew where she was, that she had not shown up for expected adn planned appointments, nor that she had not contacted anyone else. All he may have known was that she was gone, whereabouts unknown, with no communication to him, perhaps as usual. If she had gone as she was expected to, to Edmonton or wherever her appointments were that she missed, or even if she didn't, he wouldn't know whether she had been in contact with her family... not until SB's sister asked him of her whereabouts on the Monday. To me, he was in the worst possible position.. not knowing perhaps anything at all (and not by his choice I'm sure), and yet expected by others to know everything.
