Oops, looks like I got mixed up, not you…Stan's great find and post above links to a LARP convo between SB and another LARPer (DV) and I thought DV was A, but DV's another character (M). So you're right DL is A.

DV is also a part of the group, sorry for the mix up!

Regarding the event 'Wrench and Crank Auditions'.. (on FB).. which was to take place on November 30th (3.5 days after SB went missing)..
It shows that SB was not one of the 147 'invited', however it shows that 12 'went' and SB's name is amongst the 12..

But..

If you click on the '12 went', it brings up those 12 names.. but in the top left corner it still says '12 going'.. I believe that because SB, at some earlier point, had confirmed that she was 'going', when the date for the event arrived, FB automatically changed the event to already having taken place.. and so therefore, all of those who were confirmed, then automatically became 'went' (or attended)..

There is a dropdown list at the top left of the little box showing the '12 going/12 went' which shows all of the diff categories, ie 'invited', 'declined', 'maybe', etc.

**So.. I think that SB actually did NOT attend this thing on Nov 30th, it's just another one of those automatic FB quirks that changes everyone's confirmation into *attended* once the date has arrived for the event.

And.. even if SB did audition for this.. it sounds like they were allowing auditions to be sent electronically via upload via dropbox or etc... so I'm thinking that even to actually submit an audition, one wouldn't necessarily have to have been there in the flesh on that particular date/time.

This IS however, just another indication that SB had definite plans for the immediate future and aspirations and hope for her career which she was actively pursuing, and just another indication that this was NOT a voluntary thing for her to go missing.

**I am suggesting she did NOT attend this event on Nov 30th, because if she did, then LE would have changed the date she was last seen, where, and by whom, wouldn't they have? I recall that initially LE said 'last seen at 12;30am Nov 27th', and then later it was said somewhere that she had attended something, perhaps this is what that confusion was about?

I think you're right. When I get sent event invites I'll usually accept them all as 'going' so I get reminders and don't forget about them! I don't go to half of them, but I still need the reminder and then will decide closer to the date.

If JB's OkCupid was accessed, I don't think it would have been by LE, (although it could have been, who knows, but you're right, he would need to give permission, or LE would need a warrant), but to me, it would be normal for JB to access anywhere and everywhere he could think of, just to see if there might be some kind of message there from SB. I don't think that for him to log in would have automatically or necessarily meant he was searching for a new partner... likely just checking all possible places.. (although I'm wondering, perhaps LoisLane can confirm this, when one receives a message from OkCupid, does it also arrive via the person's email, or only within the OkCupid site?)

So in one of my events I accepted, when I click on the 'Went' button a pop-up menu shows with a drop down menu in top left that says 'Going'. Now on FB, you don't have to always be invited to go, but you can sometimes just join an event (I think it has to be open/public and if you have other friends going).

I've noticed this in my news feed, a few friends are going to an art show, I wasn't invited but have the option to join and attend. Not sure the details in regards to the event being public/private for sure though.

I believe the people who stay in the 'invited' zone don't respond with a yes or no, so they're kinda idle in the invited zone.

Just one detail to note is the that this event concluded on the 30th. It ran for about a week prior for auditions. If Shannon went it was prior to her disappearance but could fill into LE's timeline of her activity prior to her going missing.

It gets so hard to express clearly on these forums I find! I try to choose words carefully, but sometimes things come out sounding harsh or offensive…it's so easy to misinterpret tones or rub people the wrong way on here, so I try to be careful and not get too personal about things myself (which is hard sometimes!)

Totally agree with you! I'm always trying to express myself and understand where people are coming from. So please feel free to speak plainly, we are all here for the same reason; to understand what happened to this bright young woman.

One thing to keep in mind for the ok cupid profiles:

When I was a regular on ok cupid I had an ok cupid app on my phone. I remember more than a few times I would turn my phone on and the app would open and automatically have me listed as 'logged in' that day even when I didn't open the app/look at profiles. So I think the 'last active' section of the profiles could be misleading,

I just wanted to point out FB posts made by both SB and JB from way back on Nov 1st, 2012. SB had received a couple of beautiful 'blue' roses from JB the day before (would have been Halloween 2012) which he had brung to her 'office', and she stated that at first when she saw them, she wondered what he had done 'wrong' ! But she explained that it turned out he hadn't done anything wrong, he had merely thought the florist was 'cute'. Then JB responded by saying yes, she's not your type unfortunately.

I had been wondering how long the 'bi' thing had been going on, and also whether the SB/JB relationship had always been non-monogamous, or if it was something more recent.

The person ended up being 'found', but choosing not to let his family know his whereabouts, which there was nothing the family could do about it since the person was an adult. I'm not sure, can't find anything where the police asked the public for their help in locating, and then can't find anything in MSM saying he'd been located..

Well here is an MSM article from when he went missing. Then he was subsequently located, but LE apparently were not allowed to tell the family where he was because he wanted it that way and he was an adult. They said their hearts were 'soaring' and 'broken' at the same time. And it seems that even though there was at least *one* MSM story about him missing, there was no followup in MSM to say that he was 'found'. Someone was asking the other day whether it was possible that SB could have been located but the public not informed. I think the SB case is different from this one because LE and the family held a public news conference, etc., so it would be prudent to inform the public. In this case of Justin Baker, I guess not.
