Just to touch for a minute on the subject of press releases, this recently missing student's family, also stated that she " was not in trouble"...

Asmaa Bana was found safe.

"You’re not in trouble, please come home,” her family said in a message to Asmaa on Wednesday morning, after Toronto Police issued a press release".
The ''you're not in trouble'' part always disturbed me in Shannon's case. Why would they say that if Shannon had no reason to believe she was in trouble? Did she get into a fight with someone from her family, or maybe with her husband and then disappeared? Or was she known to be involved in illegal activities that could've made her run away?
I'm sorry for the weird setting of this post but the quotes got all mixed up and I can't figure out how to fix it.
