Right - we don't know that. Good point.I did read something about that too but I'm questioning the accuracy as far as it being "that" car. Reports did say he had purchased a couple of cars.

It is. This poor woman was worried about possibly dying for want of PPE’s and instead she’s killed by a madman.
Finances will be part of this, imo. Or some perception about finances/injustice/setback.
Me too. I believe poster said looking for folks with last name starting with McB . I hope as further names come out poster's Family was spared.I'm worried about @Vern as well.
This is so unsettling as this husband was able to warn his wife, yet, RCMP failed to initially release that the monster was travelling in a vehicle that was made to look like a RCMP cruiser. Had he had THAT information, there’s a possibility his beautiful wife and unborn child would still be alive. There is also the issue of not issuing a provincial emergency alert during this very ACTIVE shooter emergency. Heck, I got woken up a number of weeks ago very late at night with an emergency alert about Covid 19, twice, no less, once in English and then in French! It’s all we’d been hearing for days on the news but they needed to send out an emergency alert generally reserved for Amber Alerts? Makes no sense. Hopefully, other provinces will learn something from this horrific tragedy.Interview with Kristen Beaton's husband...the poor man. He had been warning her on the phone not to stop for anyone. And as someone mentioned above, she was pregnant with another child. They hadn't told family yet.
'She was an amazing mother': Husband of victim
Since he was into cop stuff, is it safe to assume he had a scanner and listened to what was communicated about this spree? This is so unsettling as this husband was able to warn his wife, yet, RCMP failed to initially release that the monster was travelling in a vehicle that was made to look like a RCMP cruiser. And from what we know so far, the fires were all at married couple's houses. Not sure what that means - perhaps those were the targeted victims and all others were random? We may never truly know why some were chosen. Other than those who had a history with him. Perhaps somebody parked at his business when they were not there for an appt. (we know he doesn't like that) Maybe somebody had trouble with dentures fitting and he perceived it a slight on his "perfect" craft. Maybe somebody walked past his place too often. Stepped across his lawn once etc. etc. or they could be just random as well. Yet the fires do make me think they were chosen.

I am curious to piece it all together. The detective work on this will be finding those connections, in addition to evidence at the scene, etc. I find it interesting.

April 19th-20 are dates of some significance for white supremacists and others inclined toward hatred.
Oklahoma City bombing 4/19, Columbine shooting 4/20 and others.
Maybe some connection? Maybe not...
Good possibility. There’s also Broadcastify. You don’t even need to subscribe for up-to-date active communications. What I don’t know is if the RCMP use specially designated channels. I’d have to get into my account and check back. A couple of years ago, during a rash of thefts and chases in our county in Ontario, I followed some chases as I was right behind the excitement coming home from my son’s. What I learned is that the detectives working the case were on a different channel than the marked cruisers. One had to be reminded to switch back to the “other” channelSince he was into cop stuff, is it safe to assume he had a scanner and listened to what was communicated about this spree?
