One does get the impression of a couple of punk thugs , reenacting some gansta' movie, jumping out of the car, doors left wide open, no time to close them, minimize noise, too cool, attract attention to car, hope someone else steals it, leaves finger prints ect. imo, speculation...

Yep, that's what I thought. Why wouldn't LE open the back doors too then. I will read the first thread to see what was up with her car. Both front doors being open to me means two perps who left them open to not slam them closed or to leave fingerprints. Same with the trunk, some of their items were likely in there and then they popped open the trunk from the inside and left it open to not attract attention via the noise. Were her car keys in the ignition still? Off to read.

From thread #1:

Where Are All The Missing ?

” Some neighbours heard “noises” coming from the house just before 3 a.m. Monday, Bowering said, echoing mumblings other neighbours repeated, unable to name the source of the information. Some neighbours flatly refused comment.

“Some of them heard screams and tires squealing,” Bowering said.

Unfortunately, the link doesn't work anymore.

Also, very few media sources still have the photos of her car available online. Only Orangeville Banner has one that I posted recently and websleuths and other crime websites have them anymore. I wonder why?

From Aug 30 2010:

Inside one of the taped-off areas sat a white, four-door Toyota with a sunroof, which had its trunk hatch lifted and front doors wide open.

One neighbour, who declined to provide his name, said he saw what appeared to be blood smeared on the back of the white car, describing the scene as “gruesome.”

I can see where you are coming from re: trunk and doors open. Yes, it has been reported in the press - right from the start as that is when they arrived at the scene. The two witnesses, one of them went on Sonia's facebook and said that the car was not found by them in the condition as has been reported in the press. That is where I got the info from.
I know that where I live, when there is a murder in a car or around a car, the cops tape it off, open the doors, the trunk and take pictures, and of course - that is when the press arrives and they report what they see.

The neighbour may have heard about it on the news, and walked over to the scene and reported that there was blood on the back of the car. LOL (Oh well - )

I guess time will tell (ever hopeful) more about the car, should there ever be an arrest and conviction.

Four years is a very long time.

rbbm.

Long enough time to turn 18 and get asked for DNA, time to commit another crime and be caught, time to confide and be betrayed, time to be recognized by someone with a conscience .... imo.

Thank you Kamille. I was beginning to wonder if I was losing my mind. lol

Also thought that doors were left open by LE, so was surprised that it was later reported otherwise. Who knows, maybe it is a detail that LE wants to keep ambiguous?
As for the trunk/hatch being open, although it could be opened to place/remove a body, maybe it was used to accomodate a long object that could not bend?
Maybe open doors and trunk offered a bit of cover? imo, speculation.

The video looks to me to be two males, young in age (16-30) from their shaggy walk and the appearance of the sagging pants.. When the video first starts it appears the one on the left is perched on a cheek of his but with one leg dangling and the other leg supporting him on the railing from the gazebo. The other seems to be talking and then moves forward as if to leave, and the one who was perched moves his dangling leg to the ground and turns around and they both either manhug or walk out together. When they walk down the sidewalk it appears to me as if one has a backpack. They seem to go very casually in no fear of anyone... Jmo

Next question. How did he ever get her to fit into that tiny trunk, quilt and all. It would of taken a lot of effort - Perhaps someone would know the dimensions of her make and model (the trunk capacity).

Is the gazebo lit up from the inside? So bright and shadow are coming from the gazebo. These guys aren't staggering too much either.
Exactly. No Staggering. Not drunk. Walking with a purpose though?

Well LE has had this video and is strategically releasing it on the anniversary of Sonia's horrific death. I just found this info out tonight.

The Ottawa police have solved all kinds of crimes recently by releasing video to the public.

It kind of makes me wish LE would do it more.

Random speculation, imo.

Concerning grainy video and seemingly brightly lit gazebo, iris on cctv camera focused on gazebo, probably fully open to "see" in the dark. Gazebo will appear brighter than it actually is, surroundings darker, image grainier, imo.

"Greeting" on gazebo, some kind of "exchange', whatever might have been transferred in pockets, hands in pockets to secure items??

LE have only shown the part we need to see in order to identify who these youths are. And part of it looks as if it has been chopped. Especially while they were on the Gazeebo (imo). Neither are we shown which direction they came from, nor entering the Gazeebo On my CBC the other day, the reporter said that the police had looked at all of the cameras around Orangeville and were able to identify all of the citizens, but could not identify these two, therefore they need the publics help.
I cannot believe they waited four years. If they had difficulty early on, why did they not put this out sooner?
Could it be that they have an idea as to who it is, however, would like confirmation from a member of the public?
Or - have these kids been under the radar - never even seen by the police in town? I have doubts about that.

May I ask you WS in Canada, what a gazebo is for? To sit in it in daylight and relax?

Video:

I think it is a cloth of ca. 2,50 m length, white (?), hanging over the right shoulder, on man's back as long as on man's front. When the man is moving in the gazebo and turns to the stages, the cloth is blowing a little (compared to a solid object). A coat wouldn't be bright and wouldn't be so long, front and rear.
Who has on some Monday morning at 6.00 am (!!), before sunrise, a short stay (not meeting) in a gazebo and is transporting a long piece of soft material ...??
The men aren't only "witnesses", IMO.

http://www.wikihow.com/Be-a-Skinhead

Hardcore skins. This skinhead group originates in the United States. They are part of the hardcore punk music scene that includes bands such as Sheer Terror, Murphy's Law, and Warzone. Their look is more casual, with baggier pants, windbreakers, and hoodies.

Wear skinhead footwear. Again, because the first skinheads were dockworkers, army surplus or generic work boots remain common staples of skinhead fashion. Dr. Martens (aka Docs, Doc Martens or DMs) boots and shoes are iconic choices for both men and women.

She also had troubles closer to home. She called the police more than once on noisy tenants only steps away from her Orangeville townhouse, her mother said.
Those tenants have since moved out.

Who were these tenants and were they checked out and cleared?

In addition to those alleged disputes, Michele has revealed for the first time that her daughter, who lived alone, had several disputes with three or four young men, who had rented a unit a few doors away, because of their late-night rowdiness.
“She was a nurse who worked shifts, so she called the police on them several times,” Michele says, adding that the young men have since moved out of the complex.

3-4 young men eh? I really hope they were all checked out.
