RG: ...when we went over there to the family BBQ to introduce the families it was obvious who the lead dog was, the lead dog was Cindy, and whatever she wanted to have happen, happened and if she wanted Caylee to do something that's what got done.

RG: "George, I'm getting ready to shake the trees to see if I can find Caylee, please tell me if anything I'm going to do is going to endanger her." George immediately called me(repeats: "immediately called me" after you hear some talking in the back ground) and said he wanted to talk to me, he wasn't avoiding me, here's the answer to your question as to why I'm not doing what you think I should be doing and he said, "because my wife doesn't want me to."

RG: Um, its a house hold that Cindy rules, the only thing that gets is what Cindy wants done and that's the way it is and George, ah, made some mistakes in the past, ah, the gambling which you all know that. Which he talked to me about, and he basically in my opinion had been emasculated since the point. So whatever Cindy wants is what Cindy gets. To me, that still, that wouldn't be enough(inaudible)I'm(inaudible) and that wouldn't stop me from finding what I wanted to find.

BD: ...if there was a vote taken on the street she would be the *****from hell on the street if you understand what I am saying, that mother is, is, shes acting all wonderful and nice now, she is evil and she can, very controlling person, control Casey and, ah, Keo said she would be down at the house in the afternoon when the mother came home from work, and if the dad was there, fine George but if the mother came she'd throw everybody out of the house immediately and see Keo said to me she threw me out because I was Puerto Rican. I don't want to get into all that but she said that her mother just didn't like those people. And then she said Casey would date Puerto Rican boys just to upset her mother because that was a love, hate relationship there, the mother is pretty domineering.

RP: So I know Cindy, a couple of times had threatened Casey, this is through my mom, that if Casey didn't behave and straighten up she would throw her out on the street and file for custody.

Cindy had threatened Casey many, many times with taking Caylee-here she does it during one of her 911 calls.

Cindy Anthony: My next thing will be child's thing and we'll have a court order to get her if that's what you wanna play. We'll do it and you'll never...

{Casey inaudibly talking}

Cindy Anthony: Well then you have...no I'm not giving you another day. I've given you a month.

Sorry, but this is not a woman who was abused or not in control of her home. "I've given you a month" A month, her granddaughter was missing and it was Cindy's decision to allow her daughter to continue her behavior by her own words.

...jmo...

Great post. This pretty much sums of why this is the case of the century. There have been far more horrifying child abductions and murders since this case came to light; however, it is the A's conduct, their unbelievable and outrageous conduct, their instant reaction to protect KC not Caylee that has made it so notorious.

Many years ago I awoke to find the dead body of a hit-n-run victim lying in the street behind my house (she was visible thru my slider on my 2d story), once LE arrived I watched the investigation for about 12 hours from my balcony. One of LE asked me why I was watching. I told him that this poor woman must be one of my neighbors and yet no one knew she was dead yet. She was just a dead body to LE. I felt I had to watch them investigate because SHE needed someone watching for her. I felt like she was all alone lying there. She deserved to be mourned even though I didn't know who she was.

This case has done the same thing to me. I feel like no one else in the A family was focused on the right thing, Caylee. I feel like I have to watch for her, mourn for her, BECAUSE THE A FAMILY DIDN'T SEEM TO BE FOCUSED ON CAYLEE, only on KC and themselves. THEY NEEDED TO STICK TOGETHER. Caylee was dead, but they were left, so they needed to stick together.

After Casey's arrest on July 16, 2008, she has remained quiet. We have brief snippets of conversation from her phone call from jail to her family on July 16, 2008, and the videos of the jailhouse visits with her parents. Although those snippets have told us a lot about who and what Casey is, it's been Cindy and George's behavior that have kept this case front and center in the news, not Casey.

The list is long, and not in chronological order but includes..........

Cindy's outrageous statements, denying the car smelled like a dead body, claiming it was rotten pizza...........this after she herself stated in the 911 call that the car smelled like a dead body.

Cindy wielding a hammer, pounding no trespassing signs in her front yard, and threatening reporters.

George having to be restrained from physically attacking a cameraman in front of his house.

George screaming, "the body in my daughter's car is not my granddaughter!"

Cindy and George, instead of staying inside their home, came out with a hammer and baseball bat to confront protesters in front of their house.

George and Cindy destroying a memorial set up by people at the site where Caylee's remains were found.

Cindy having a memorial service for Caylee with the focus on Casey, and refusing to allow certain people to attend.

Cindy cleaning out the Pontiac before police took custody of it, washing items that were in the car and thus destroying evidence.

Cindy refusing to cooperate with LE and withholding evidence.

Cindy insinuating that others killed Caylee.

Cindy and George selling the rights to Caylee's pictures for a profit, and no longer working.

Cindy and George's behavior during their depositions in the civil case.

The above is only some of the things George and Cindy have done that have kept this case in the news. Their behavior has been outrageous, and their failure to seek justice for Caylee and their extraordinary lengths to defend Casey, have served only to anger the public.

Nor have I heard lies called "mis-truths" here in California or in my home state of NY. We simply call them lies.

My opinion has been and still is that they are doing everything in their power to make sure she gets convicted.

My thoughts go there every time I see that woman on TV spilling her sickness outta her mouth with a smile on her face. But I also cannot help but wonder if she been doing everything in her power to set her daughter up.

Wow. That would be very bad.

I've often wondered if one or the other, meaning GA or CA, found out that the other one had been at the scene of what happened when it happened but the other one didn't know it yet. I can't pin down which one it would have been but they (in this imagined scenario) allowed KC time off while they let time pass between the "event" and the day they reported "the little girl" missing (which was dictated by the day they HAD TO pick up the Pontiac). One does not like fresh evidence to exist when one is reporting someone kidnapped. Hurricanes and the like are convenient happenings between the two events.

Wild imagination, huh?

OLG - I have done that same thing the the girl in your picture is doing - it really does help~ha!

If so why would Cindy support Casey's claim of the existence of "Zanny the Nanny"?

I believe that if either of them know more than they have told, or knew at the time but didn't report it and are now attempting to cover it up, it is George.

It was in the script - to take the emphasis off them (the A's) and the house. Mind you, I'm making this up to support my active imagination scenario based on the way the senior A's have acted causing me to become suspicious of them or their involvement at some level.

  • #213
You make a good point..

CA sure doesn't want people to think she was the only other caretaker. One of the reasons I am suspicious of CA is because she does support the Nanny story. There is no way that the woman would be casual about where Caylee was going every day. I cannot believe that - not for one minute. She's "mistruthing" right in our faces. LE knows it too.

GA is becoming a blip on my radar, the more you mention it and provide your insights on this.
He mentions two things that I don't believe were ever shown to be correct:
The pool ladder story (conversation with CA) and the car chase with KC.

IIRC, the e-pass does not support GA's car chase story and CA/GA did not agree about what date they spoke about the pool ladder/gate. I think GA may even have come back and told LE the pool ladder story after his initial interview (and after he synced up with CA).

Can find links if you would like.

I'm from North Carolina and there were always three levels of lying.

You could tell a fib. Definition: a little lie
You could tell a little white lie. Definition: a medium sized lie
You could tell a lie. Definition: An outright bald lie

I've posted before that I felt this way at the beginning of the case but when CA began telling lie after lie, I got mixed up as to what the truth might be. Everyone always states that KC was the last one to be seen with Caylee. But when you think about it, CA actually was that person when it comes to eyes outside their triangle.

Adding that I have tried to loose the idea that one of the A's have been in on the knowledge of what happened to Caylee from the beginning, but I can't. The thought of this being a possibility always comes back to me. I'm not trying to create an excuse for KC or anything like that - I really believe it could be a possibility and it often surprises me that not many other people think it could be the case.

I understand what you are saying - me also. What about the guy in the computer store who claims to have seen them on the afternoon of the 16th. Is that still flying or have I missed it being ruled out as another wannabe?

iirc CA told LE over the phone something about remembering that she found the pool ladder up against the pool one day. She called GA and asked him if he had used the pool, etc. He said "no". So they chalked it up to neighborhood kids who must have walked into their backyard, used the pool and left leaving the gate open.

The above is from my memory so I may have the details wrong.

Either way, his stories were on weak legs for that time period....

He's hiding from the Defense Bus-doesn't want to get run over!
