Casey's Attorney Files Counter-Claims Against ZG

I like "I Wouldn't Know the Truth If it Bit Me In The A@@"

You would think when you have a client up for murder and lying to the police you'd try not to paint her into another corner....

I'm trying to figure out, though, how this ZG (the one bringing the lawsuit) can have 6 kids if she's the same ZG who went to Sawgrass on 6/17. I thought that ZG had 2 kids--or did she for some reason only list 2 of her 6 kids on the apartment manager's sheet??

I thought I read that she saw ZG's 2 kids' names on the form and assumed they were her roomates?

Book title: "A Huge Waste"

That's my favorite!

KC filing a counter suit against ZG has got to be the most ridiculous piece of this puzzle so far. Seriously, she just continues to victimize this woman. Makes me think that maybe ZG stole a boyfriend of KC's at one point or something. She seems to really have it out for her! It is just so ridiculously unbelievable!

I hope ZG wins her lawsuit. KC has really smeared this poor woman's name.

Since we all know that KC is alway reading and very interested in the law right now, perhaps she is acting as JB's paralegal and prepared this suit all by herself...

Also, funny that the A's spokesperson that just resigned/was fired said "It is my opinion that others have manipulated them into situations, that would not dignify the family." Wondering if he was talking about the book deal?

Do you have a link to a book deal? Cindy was quoted as saying a in couple years, when this is all over, she hopes to write a book. What publisher makes a book deal two years in advance?

Above link is one of the news stations that reported the book writing plans of Cindy.:)

Thanks. From that link:
Cindy Anthony also said she hopes writing a book would guide people in similar situations through what she has been through as she searches for her granddaughter.

"Two years down the road, once Caylee's back home safe, and her life's back to normal, and our life's back to normal, if I can help someone in any way, and jot everything down, that I've learned, you know, that's where it is," Cindy Anthony said.

Doesn't sound to me like there is a book deal.

As if any person in the future that has a child go missing would pop into a bookstore to buy a book that Cindy (of all people) wrote to get tips and hints on how to find their missing child?? Considering Cindy is doing everything in her power NOT to find her grandchild? Haaahhaaa! Puhleese!!

You know, if Cindy actually does find Caylee and brings her home, I'll be the first one in line to buy her book. Until then, in MY book, it's just one more money-making scheme Cindy has cooked up.

Publishers do negotiate contracts before books are written - often the author gets an advance that covers expenses while they're writing. These deals are often made for books to be written by well-known people.

Sometimes, they don't actually submit a book and have to return the advance to the publisher.

Sometimes, the publisher has to sue to get its money back.

I wouldn't be surprised if Cindy floated the idea of writing a book to see if any publishers would bite. She needs the cash.

Or " How to Raise A Sociopath" ?

I like this because it tells it like it is, short and sweet - and I'd make it one of those Dummie's Guides in the yellow and black covers and add "For Fun & Profit" to it, i.e. "Dummies Guide to Raising a Sociopath For Fun & Profit".

And can you imagine CA's acknowledgements inside? Maybe something like these:

I dedicate this book to my darling daughter Casey, who is as pure as the driven snow, and who, as a completely innocent bystander, has had to endure so many untruths by others in this case while striving to just get on with her new single life.

To my ever loving husband George, whose ability to overlook the truth and provide misdirection is almost as refined as my own.

To my son Lee, whose refusal to provide DNA and lie detector results to the l'enemy were so much appreciated by me.

And to my beautiful granddaughter Caylee - Mama is coming to get you honey, and I promise I will search for you right after I sell a few more T-shirts, go on a few more paid shows, sell a few more articles, and make a little (hopefuly lots) more money.

CA, in a media interview, said John M, ZG's attorney should go back to chasing ambulances! :furious::furious::furious:

CA who apparently knows little to nothing about the law, has publically, in the media, accused John M, ZG's attorney, one with an outstanding local reputation, of being an ambulance chaser; which, would be unethical attorney conduct in violation of the rules governing attorney conduct. If he were in such violation, it would make him subject to public censure, possible suspension of his right to practice law and possible loss of his bar license. She said in the video that her attorney put a stop to John M's suing GA and CA as homeowners. (No details yet.) But, even if MN did deflect some other claim, CA just bought herself a lawsuit if the slandered person chooses. He probably won't, but could happen.

One more reason our court systems are clogged w/ baseless & retaliatory lawsuits...

YESH

I don't see ZG's lawsuit as baseless or retaliatory.
KC answered and presented counter claims. Therefore, KC is going to have to appear and testify. She can be deposed by John M, ZG's attorney. She's going to have a hard time claiming the 5th amendment right to remain silent and be able to prove her claims against ZG.

The CA act of going on the media and saying John M, a local attorney with an exceptional reputation, should go back to chasing ambulances is clearly slander. Damages in a slander action are based on how widely published the damaging statement was. That's not a baseless action either!

I haven't been able to review the pleadings as to what KC counter sued against ZG, but if she's just saying it is frivolous and just meant to embarass the A family, then it doesn't look good for KC so far. It doesn't matter if that isn't the woman KC meant. What matters is if the public could reasonably believe it. The connection to Sawgrass will probably do it.

CA's media reps need to throttle her so she doesn't commit any more torts. Things can get worse for that family if this keeps up. I'm hoping not, but silence is golden.

I unfortunately have to say I agree this is an unfounded lawsuit by JP Morgan and makes it's a waste of taxpayers money.
KC never said it was this Zenaida. If she would have used the name Jane Smith then how many lawsuits would she have gotten for using that name?
Are all the other Zenaida's going to sue her as well? Zenaida gonzalez is not an uncommon name. Also She said Zenaida Fernandez-Gonzalez...and insisted on the hyphen. I don't think this Zenaida is a Fernandez. This is a stupid lawsuit.
It is one thing to single out a specific person and accuse them of a crime unjustly an another to use a name of a person that may have done something which could match many individuals and not specific to one.
I do think this is a silly lawsuit from John Morgan and I'm sure it will be dismissed.

I mentioned this in another thread....

All over the internet, people are suggesting KFN might be preying on families who have lost a child.... much like 'ambulance chaser' waits for an opportunity & then strike fast....

Is THAT why Cindy even had this on her mind? Are the folks from KF chattering about this instead of focusing on finding a "live Caylee?"
