Both sides were under the premise that it was June 9th. I call that confused.
I do not believe in death by youtube. I have a right to that opinion. Its a dangerous tool that takes many things out of context. The context being June 9th. The falsehood being June 9th. The confusion being June 9th. Moo
When one person tells a lie, two people are not confused. Ask any cheating spouse, and their divorce lawyer. One person is lying, period!
There is no grand you tube conspiracy against the defendant. Our very own Patti posts many, many, many of the recordings and she is above reproach in my view. Thank goodness she does; because, people read here from all over the world and WebSleuths enjoys a solid reputation of not posting anything we cannot prove.
When something is memorialized by detectives recording the conversation or by a jail recording a visitation, that of course is a reliable method to refresh our memories. Such recordings are commonly used in trials. If I post it, you have my word that I have not altered the recording in any manner, so therefore it is not out of context. You could find the same recordings from the local news sites or cable shows. You'll certainly be hearing these recorded police interviews in the trial! You Tube is simply a convenient way for me to post them while we are chatting. Now that I think of it, I would be proud to vouch for any member here. It is the defense, not us, who releases highly edited videos that make no sense, and incomplete as they are would never, ever be allowed into the trial!. If you get it from here, I highly doubt it is out of context. Out there on other blogs, you are on your own. LOL!
Casey's lies are evil! Focus on why we are here. Let's keep out eye on the ball. A innocent baby is dead! Forever! We aren't talking about who ate all the cookies in the empty cookie jar. She lied and lied to local LE, Federal Officers, search officials, her entire community and her family while they all were trying to find her missing baby, all the while knowing the baby was out in the woods decomposing, having been thrown away like trash, allegedly. There is nothing innocuous about the evil, lies she told and continues to tell. It is shocking to me for anyone to suggest lying to investigators is not that bad. Why would you, how could you accept that from anyone with a missing child? What in the world could be a worse thing to lie about? This is not just my opinion, Google: punishment for lying to a federal officer. IT IS A FELONY!!!!
Casey is about to find out how her lies serve her. I try not to respond to things I believe are meant as a joke,so please just laugh and say oh Julia ..if you were kidding me. I am very passionate about the hardworking, devoted people that were lied to. I cannot let that stand, even a hint at them being disparaged as not being very bright. My grandmother used to tell us, "If you don't speak up...even God won't hear you!" The LE in a homicide case see the worst of the worst every day. A lesser person, such as myself, could not do the job they do. They deserve our respect and common decency demands it! If the defense wants to come up against these good, good people they better come prepared with something a whole lot better than "Death by You Tube". IMO when the jury hears her lying, admitting she is lying throughout those police interviews ...it is over. Cut , scene, sentencing phase! In the words of Mark Klaas, " The truth does not change!"
You may find it instructive to study the impressive careers of the detectives you are opining about. It may change your mind about the success of their methods, or even look in to police interviewing tactics in general. I cannot even respond to your "Death by You Tube" except to imagine that you are having a little fun with us. We need a laugh in this very serious case. It gets to us all at times.
