The babysitter may have been wanting to snatch Caylee and saw the opportunity when Casey never showed up. Or Caylee may have been abused, there is speculation about that, and the babysitter believes that she is protecting her. I do have other cases like this, at least two, I am scouring my files for them. I think the child was younger, but the basic premise is the same.

It is possible. However, then you have to dismiss all the lies, ALL the lies, the smell in the car, the partying after the alleged kidnapping, followed by the complete lack of emotion from Casey, her loving "perfect" mom, just to name a few.

I wish I could say that I thought this precious girl was "only" kidnapped. I just don't see it.

I am usually everyones biggest critic and skeptic and for some unknown reason I half believe Casey...I believe in the babysitter story and I believe the story about saving the info to the phone not the sim card. The main reason that I beleive her is that there cannot be 2 women with a name that uncommon living within 9 miles of each other...there was a Zenaida Gonzales in Orlando at some recent point in time...and the building that she lived in was an apartment complex. And then you add in the fact that I owned a Samsung and I know that you can save info to the phone without the SIM card even being in. Casey may be aliar and she may not be the worlds best mother, but I do not beleive that she killed Caylee. As I have said before, this might just be wishful thiking, but I am usually not the wishful thinking type.

I think, both of these points come back to one thing...she never had a nanny named "Zanny".

The phone she may have. Good catch on the pics, I had not noticed that. However, the reason she is saying she can't find it or the sim card(couldn't figure out which one she was trying to say she lost), is because if she DID have the phone or the sim card the voila...she would have the mysterious nanny's phone number!

As far as a Zenaida living nearby, I feel certain that LE has checked out every zenaida/zenada/zenny fernandez/gonzales/garcia by now - anywhere. After all, she kidnapped a 2 yr old girl!

And as far as forgetting where she left her little girl, I'm thinking by now, even the drunkest of drunks would have had plenty of time to dry up and remember. She would be singing like crazy right now, if only she wasn't afraid that she would implicate herself even more.

I do understand what you are trying to say. But, I'm not buying it. JMO.
You should have been here during our whole phone conversation threads back. It was pretty funny...and we couldn't conclude what kind of phone it was (if I'm thinking of the same photo you're looking at). LE can track the purchase of the phone.

I know that the reigning theory is that Casey killed Caylee. But there are two things that have not really been addressed...one is that there is a Zenaida Gonzales that lives less than 9 miles from the Sawgrass apartments in Orlando where Casey says she left Caylee.
The other is the issue of the BlackJack phone that she says she lost that had the babysitters number in it. A lot of people say that the phone never existed. ANyone that says that has not checked out Caseys Photobucket account. The first pic in the first album has a picture of Casey sitting at a bar table with 2 things in front of her. The first is a 22 ounce beer bottle. The second is a Samsung Black Jack phone.
Also, we see a lot of photos of Casey Anthony in a party atmosphere or drinking...enough so that there is a very good chance that she has a drinking problem, which would explain the money and lying issues as well as things like possibly not remembering which apartment complex she left her daughter at.
I am not defending her actions and if it comes to light that she did kill her daughter I will not be shocked. But there are factors and evidence that point to the idea that she may not have.

Excellent post...IMO, fwiw.

one is that there is a Zenaida Gonzales that lives less than 9 miles from the Sawgrass apartments in Orlando where Casey says she left Caylee.

OK....everyone says, there is no such person......enlighten me? LE says she does not exist...or I am misunderstanding?

I can't get past the decomp in the trunk.

Darn...sorry I missed it. I'm sure it was a hoot. I am still confused over the whole situation. That is why LE has so much work to do...especially on this case!

I don't like Seth, the producer from GVS, he seems to get his info that he passes off as "Breaking News" from HERE

Have a confession to make- when I turned on gvs, I thought Seth was the DJ they were quoting on the bottom ticker, so I guess that says something..

I'm not sure if they said "blood", but they did say evidence from the car...I heard "dirt".

I think one of the most important things that came out of Greta's program tonight was the fact that LE is searching and their search is based on evidence found in the car.

We know that LE has mentioned three things in the trunk of the car - hair strands consistent with the length and color of Caylee's, a stain, and dirt.

But, LE hasn't mentioned "other evidence" found in the car. What other evidence was found in the car? Receipts for toll roads? Receipts for items that would be unusual for a 22-year-old woman to purchase, like a shovel and tarp from a hardware store? Gasoline receipts for somewhere outside Orlando?

I'm hopeful there were items in the car that have allowed LE to pinpoint a specific area in which to search.

well, she said she only had the Blackjack for a week and a half. Whether her phone stories are lies or not, it doesn't really matter. LE has her phone records.

We do not know what the smell in the car was yet. And if Casey has a drinking problem that is going to be exacerbated by stress and she is going to drink and party more...I think that Casey may know more thatn she is daying, but in that aspect I would look more at Cindy, the grandmother, that much I will say. The lack of emotion could be that she is in shock.

I have always had trouble accepting that as well. My thinking now is that she contributed to her death in some way. GPs seem resigned that Caylee is no longer here...goodness they're preparing for their daughter's trial IMO. BTW...IIRC...it's Zenaida with an a Zanaida...and I believe there was only one found...anybody remember where?

You know what is odd is the calling grandparents by some form of their first name, Ci Ci and Jo Jo. ....

It's not that odd anymore. I know a lot of grandparents who choose to be called something else because they "don't want to feel old."
My mother-in-law goes by Mimi and a friend's mother is called "Mama Chris"
I've heard in California it's common for kids to call their parents by their first names.

I can't wait for the transcripts from the Greta show are available. Did you hear them say that there was a small spot of blood also found in the trunk of the car? That was the first I'd heard of that. Did anyone else hear that said tonight?????

Yes but I think it was that chucklehead pretending to be a journalist. She meant to say stain found in car. It is not established yet that it was blood. Let's not let the facts get in the way of a good story.

I think if you discussed on this site that Casey was a member of a band of gypsies that steals children at Disney, Fox would report it as scoop within 20 minutes

Would you like me to PM you the info so that it is not on the main board or would it be okay to post the address here? Someone clarify and I will give the address.

We're running out of people who we CAN believe.

Thank goodness for all of you guys.

Something else about this case I don't think we've heard (or at least I haven't) Normally when a family member feels a child has been kidnapped there is normally a public plea to the kidnapper in general. All I've heard in this case is she is missing and out there please find her. Anyone else find this odd??

Only once I heard Cindy speak in that crazy cryptic code they talk in, saying something like "don't worry about getting your friend in trouble, if you know something please call." I don't think she has pleading to anyone since.

Maybe Casey has them so paranoid about this dangerous nanny and her accomplices that Cindy and George are afraid to plea to them on camera. They are going to feel like such fools after this is over. I hope I'm wrong but... I have a brain.

I would love to hear from some of Cindy's coworkers about her personality. Was she a normal-acting person before all of this, or has she always been nutty?

I hope there is much more than the "dirt' 'cause that will not be enough to hold her.
