1) We believed Jesse was the father...and couldn't understand why GM lied about it. She fessed up to it today. Guess it must have been that "whole truth, nothing but the truth" thing.
You want more? For what purpose might I ask? I think we've done an OUTSTANDING job here. Now, it's time to focus on finding Caylee...not on justifying ourselves.

If you click on that you will see the different threads in that forum. Threads are the different topics of discussion being discussed regarding the disappearance of Caylee.

If there is enough interest in a case and the posts are numerous it is very helpful to have a separate forum in order to better organize all the posts.

IMO She killed that child on June 15. Something happened on Fathers Day.

Does anyone know when Casey went over to the parents and asked to borrow the shovel (I hadn't realized this...did they say it was at night?)...the EXACT date...has GM said when she went on vacation? The car was backed up to the garage...as reported by the neighbor. Wouldn't the garage have been locked up...just like the shed??!!

I just read that the person who told them he had talked to Casey on the 24th was guess who???? Anthony!

I don't believe him. I don't know why he is telling this but I don't believe it.

Secondly I think that Cindy got caught in a major LIE. I don't see how she could confuse something as important as when she last saw her granddaughter. Especially since it was FATHERS DAY. That picture alone should have "jogged" her memory. The one of the grandfather with Caylee on his lap that we have been seeing on TV alot.

People only lie because they are guilty of something. I am sure that the GMA is in on this...even if it's just that Casey told her what happened and now she is covering Casey's butt.

Big mistake to let Casey out. But, hey, that's the legal system and legally the judge didn't have much choice.

The little girl is dead. I feel it in my heart after today. How long Casey and Cindy will play games with the cops remains to be seen.

$50,000 is doable. I bet when she runs off in a few days though, they're going to pretty much regret this decision.

Do the parents have access to the $125,000.00 reward for information leading to the recovery of Caylee?

If so, they've already got the funds to make bail.

Let me be VERY specific here.

The grandmother, Cindy, gave her statement to LE that the last time she saw Caylee was on June 8, 2008.

The Detective testified today when she was confronted with further evidence LAST NIGHT, July 21, 2008 that Caylee was actually with her and videotaped (which has been seen all of the national media of her reading a book at a table) on June 15, 2008. She declined to give her Father's name so police could verify the records kept on visitor's sign in at the assisted living center stating she would "take care of it on her own" and threatened she would not cooperate with LE anymore if they involved her father.

This would be participating in Obstruction of Justice, imo. It proves she initially LIED to police about when she last saw Caylee. (There is a week's discrepancy in her story.) This is consistent with her knowing Casey's story was not true from the beginning.

and how, exactly, is that evidence that the grandmother knows what happened to caylee or that she participated in her abduction and/or murder? i never claimed that the grandmother has never been wrong or made an inconsistent statement.

there's a photo that's been shown in the media alot...Caylee on the lap of a very old gentlemen, he is cuddling her, I thought it was a very sweet photo. I wonder if that is Cindy's father. It must be a recent pic because Caylee looks about the same age as in her other photos.

A few of the facts revealed during the hearing today:

1) cadaver dogs "hit" on trunk of car (right, rear, passenger side) and three spots in back yard.

2) per private conversation with Lee, Casey says she hasn't seen Caylee in 31 days, which would be on/around June 15th.

3) Casey/Cindy first say that they haven't seen Caylee since June 9th. Then Cindy is confronted with video from assisted living home (where her, Cindy's, father lives) from June 15th. Cindy changes story and says oh yeah, I guess I did see Caylee on Fathers Day. But, when they (detectives?) say they want to check the visitor logs at the assisted living home to see who signed in with Caylee, Cindy gets upset and says she will not cooperate with LE anymore if they pursue that.

Just kind of interesting... and yes, we are speculating that Cindy knows more or is involved in some way. But that is what we do here - ponder things and throw out ideas.

Would be interesting to find out of Casey was also visiting at the assisted living home that day. So far it is only Cindy's word saying Casey and Caylee left her house the morning of June 16th. I wonder if anyone actually SAW Casey and Caylee together after June 15/16.

Why would she tell her brother she hadn't seen Caylee in 31 days? Maybe she hadn't... could she have left Caylee at her parents house?

Did Casey take the car when she left on June 16? Why did she come back? When was she supposedly on vacation? Did the neighbor see Caylee the day Casey asked for the shovel?

With all due respect. Sometimes I get the feeling someone is just trying to be onery. This is one of those times.
If the grandmother has lied about something as important as the last time she saw her "beloved" granddaughter there is a major problem with her credibility.
Why lie about that if you are not involved in some way.
What is your theory about Caylee's disappearence? Please share it.

I believe she said the last time she saw Caylee was when her and Casey put her to bed on the 15th. She said the two of them spent the night, but she did not physically see them on the morning of the 16th. The door was shut when she left for work.

I missed the father's testimony, so not sure if he said he saw the two of them on the 16th or not.

I am with the rest of you. This date is very significant and was left out for a reason. Just can't figure it out yet.

Today she did...do you remember her saying it elsewhere? I personally was under the impression she hadn't seen Casey for over a month. How many times did we hear the 5 weeks, 6 weeks!! Only to come and find out that she never REALLY lived anywhere else but with her...was just gone for periods of time (according to GM). You know, GM better watch it. If LE goes back and listens to all those interviews GM gave and what she's saying now they could get her on lying to LE. No one has twisted her words. The transcripts of these interviews are proof. I am afraid now that Caylee is gone...I don't think we'll be able to find her...and the saddest part of it all...I don't think they'll be able to make a murder charge stick on her mother.

1 - is not new, this has been reported

2 - i dont find particularly revealing or proof of anything, hasnt casey made plenty of other inconsistent statements much more damning than this?

3 - yes, very strange, hopefully it has been investigated further

there is nothing wrong with pondering things and throwing out ideas, i have never implied or said that there was anything wrong with that.

if people cant see it then i dont know what to say, i dont feel strongly enough about it to go back and copy and paste a bunch of examples of it. just an observation, that no shortage of others have also made.
