I've watched Greta for years, and of all the media, she seems to be cautious, not wanting to repeat something until/unless it's verified. I'm sure she doesn't want a lawsuit for repeating something untrue. I feel certain Greta's team would verify who, what, where, and when before going with this story.
I think they probably verify the who, but they don't necessarily confirm what they are saying.
For example, if we had to confirm what John Mark Karr was saying, no one would have been able to report on him.

So, I think there is a difference between confirming an identity and confirming the information or what they are saying.

ETA: that is why they say "sources say" or "JMK said" or it is "reported that"
they are just reporting what others are saying whether it is fact or not.

I disagree.

Defense lawyers have clients take polygraphs all the time... in hopes that the results show their client PASSED. If they failed, you just do your best to hush up that they took the test OR resort to the 'inadmissable' excuse. lol
Right now he isn't going to do anything which would cause Casey not to trust him. IMO..asking her to take a LDT would jeopardize what he is working towards with her. He wants her to be totally dependent on him...which we know she is at the moment. Just my opinion tho. I don't see him asking her to take one at this juncture as he know she has been lying all along.

I'm only here for one post then I'm gonna be out for the day but I just had to bring this over. This myspace page is set up as a voice for Caylee and appears to be from one of Casey's close ex-friends. I noticed DJ Clint House is her #1 friend and also left a comment for Caylee. It brought too many tears to my eyes but is worth reading.

About me:
My name is Caylee Anthony. I disappeared June 16, 2008. At least, that's when my mom thinks she lost me. By all the recent pictures, it seems like she's always drinking, so she has a hard time remembering what happened to me. Or so she says. I'm 3 years old. I like to read books, play with my toys, go swimming, and I love my Grandma. I'd like to come home. My mom promised my Grandma that I would be home for my birthday. That was another lie my mom told. I probably will never come home alive. But, because the general public is so much smarter than my family, you all probably realize that. I may never get justice if my body is not found. That's why it is so important that the world make sure my mom gets justice for losing me. If my mom refuses to tell what happened to me, it is up to the world to judge her in the court of public opinion. If she walks free in a court of law, it is only because she hid me well enough that no body could be found. It will not because she is innocent, rather, it will be because the evidence was hidden well. My life has been short and has been surrounded by the people that you see in the media now. This is not fair for a little girl like me. I am precious. I deserve better. Please, bring me justice. Take a good look at my mom and remember her face. Do not give her a job. Do not date her. Do not feel sympathy for her, as she did not feel sympathy enough for me to tell the police where I was. For my sake, make sure that she will never walk anywhere without being noticed. Keep my spirit alive by keeping my mom's face in the public eye. I deserve to watch her suffer for the rest of her life.

Thanks for posting this!
Seems like the groundswell is building, fueled by passion for basic human decency and compassion. From what I see, people around the world are sickened and outraged by the Anthony family's callous, if not criminal, disregard for little Caylee.

On another note: What is Lee afraid of? Who is he protecting?

I knew that she went to the attorney but I did not know that it was for 7 hours.

That in itself is odd. 7 hours in one day at your lawyer's office is a lot. I would think that you would generally go in for an hour or two at a time. Especially since lawyer's usually have other meetings, appointments, and possible court dates for other clients.

Does anyone else find this unusual or is it just me? I have never had to use a lawyer so I don't know.

Not unusual for a case of this magnitude -- most defense lawyers will never ever in their entire lives, get a case as publicized as this one -- especially given that yesterday's meeting was their first meeting outside of prison. Baez could have easily rearranged his schedule in advance in order to meet with Casey.

A few other points: I doubt that Baez will get permission to meet with Casey in a restaurant (some other poster suggested). If they could meet in a restaurant, then tomorrow they might want to meet at a ballgame, and the week after that, at an opera.

Also, defendants under house arrest are always permitted to meet with their attorneys. This is all covered under the criminal defendant's Constitutional Right to an attorney. Otherwise, a defendant doesn't really have an attorney if she is prevented from meeting and consulting with her attorney.

If they are a member here, she just calls em up and checks their membership info.

It's got to be more involved than that....

Let's say someone sets up an account & gives fake info (believe it or not, my REAL name is not LI_Mom! lol But I do live on LI)

Let's say the name is: John Doe, email address JohnDoe@yahoo, 123 First Street, Los Angeles, Calif. Phone: 999-999-9999

You call John on the phone & he confirms everything he said is true??? You can even ask his wife, who is sitting right there..... "Oh yeah, this is REALLY John."

LE has stated over and over that CASEY is the POI and she has the answers. It sure would be nice for George and Cindy to get charged with something too. Gee, Rose for someone always discussing "facts" you sure do miss some.

I don't feel I missed a thing and will still stand by my statement, too many other people to not have any other suspects. I guess we all work on different levels of logic.

If you will read the Tony Padilla thread, he said last night that his Uncle LP doesn't speak in code like some people may think. He has also asked him to use something other than a pharmacy when he recommends dropping Caylee off!

Thanks, SS. Actually I had read the whole Padilla thread -- and noted the "no code" speak, (and Tony's suggestion) which was part of why I found it a bit, well, odd. Probably just another "what the???" conincidence. :) Plenty of those to go around doncha know:crazy:

OMG!!! I wonder if anyone checked the dumpsters and where the dumpster are emptied at Sawgrass apartments! Could she have told a half truth here????
Several posts back I also had the same idea. There's something about that place that has significance to Casey, imo, and why she chose it as where she supposedly left Caylee with "ZFG".

Hello all, I see that not a dam thing has actually happened since midnight yesterday. Why am I not surprised?

Do you think Casey could have been taking a polygraph at Baez's office yeasterday? They take a long time don't they?

I have heard Leonard Padilla say it a few times now - that defendants take polygraphs often at thier atty's office with no one present in the room exept the defendant, the lawyer and the polygrapher. If the person fails - you never hear about the test.

I took this to mean - if a person passes the test the lawyer puts that out there to make the client look good. If we don't hear about a passing polygraph - we are to infer that one was administered and failed.

Maybe he is trying to give us a hint?

We sure heard about OJ failing his. There are no good leaks on this case...:-(

Then they are not verifiable if she cannot check their membership info.
She probably called Tony right at his office.

lol I don;t mean she just asks them. It did sound like that.

You are mistaken. Defense Attorneys are able to take their clients out for food during the course of a "meeting". There is no rule that food has to be brought in for the client, but he cannot keep her all day without allowing her to eat. They would be denied any such request to go to a ballgame or an opera so that is ridiculous.

That's a very reasonable assumption.

On the other hand, he has to be getting concerned with the VERY NEGATIVE public opinion that's swelling up. He's got to take control & be less of an enabler & start thinking about what are the best chances to defend her against a murder rap.

Taking charge WOULD make her & her family less inclined to think that no matter what lies & nonsense they spout it will have NO EFFECT at the trial.

Oddly enough....

Having seen your pic of the Amscot, I took a virtual drive down Goldenrod via google street view. Now, remember Leonard Padilla mentioning (more than once) that the "kidnappers" should leave Caylee at a Wal Mart or a Drug Store?

The Amscot is next door to a Sam's Club, and across the street from a CVS Pharmacy.

Probably nothing to that, but I found it set off the "hinkey meter" for me.

we have CVS and Walgreens here in just about every corner. LOL

I thought the time allotment to travel to and from and attend the actual service was three hours.

That still seems like a long time. The average church service is about an hour, so that would leave an hour for traveling to church and an hour for traveling back home.

Certainly there's churches right there in Orlando within a few minutes drive from home.

Polygraphs don't take too long. I took one. It was less than 45 minutes
I took one in college and failed miserably even on the questions I was truthful.
Because of that I will never never take one, nor would I advise anyone, innocent or guilty to take one.
Far too unreliable IMO.

I think this says volumes for the LE. As much as I would like to hear something, my hat is off to the entire LE department, including all those worker bees.

Walgreens and RiteAid here...and they are on every corner. Is it possible that he keeps using the drugstore thisng because they are so common?

Now if he kept saying "leave her at a Chinese restaurant" or "leave her at Happy's spa" then I would be really concerned.

I would appreciate it if you would go correct that post as I did not say those things. I ONLY said that it makes no logical sense unless you are talking about Cindy and George. Cindy (say it with me) was the LAST KNOWN PERSON to be seen with Caylee verified by an independent source. George places himself in that category, but no one can confirm his story. There are no other people to include as suspects.
