I have a question...it is an honest question, not a slam.
Aren't most traditional Baptist the real tough fire and brimstone types? Doesn't really seem like a denomination that would readily accept Casey.
I don't know much about Baptists, I am Nazarene, so I really am curious.

I was gonna say......when I saw Baptist, my first thought was, "Those folks gots some prayin' to do!!"

The Baptist in my West Texas area would NOT approve of her drinking or dancing at all. I do not really see her fitting in with what our area churches believe.

So who gets to stay home & babysit Casey? Do they leave strangers in the house or do they all have to take shifts to be stuck at home watching Casey?

Here's the info on the actual event... I don't see ANY mention of Caylee....

If these arrangements were made prior to Casey being released, I would have to say that it changes everything as to what happens from here on out.

You are mistaken. Defense Attorneys are able to take their clients out for food during the course of a "meeting". There is no rule that food has to be brought in for the client, but he cannot keep her all day without allowing her to eat. They would be denied any such request to go to a ballgame or an opera so that is ridiculous.

I disagree with the premise of your post because the terms of house arrest differ from case to case. That one criminal defendant might have been permitted to meet with his or her attorney in a public restaurant doesn't guarantee Casey this privilege. The right to counsel is not comprised by banning restaurant meetings. I am under the impression that the terms of Casey's house arrest are particularly restrictive.

Hiya Katie!

Nassau here, but my dad lives in Suffolk.

I'm originally from upstate NY - Finger Lakes region, but all my ancestors were from the very end of Long Island - a small town called Southold. :)

It is the Conway Church that has been coming to the house for the prayer vigils. I am sure the entire Anthony family has been invited to attend that church. That is what churches do. Churches are not ONLY for the perfect never do wrong crowd.
Rose, there's nothing I'd like more than for her to have a change of heart while she's at that church which would lead to her telling the truth as to what happened to Caylee and where she is. :)

I believe it's just across the street from Tony's apt.
Maybe she wanted to move there, (sans her beautiful daughter) to be close to Tony??

HUH Tony who ?? If you mean the BF Tony he lives in Winter Park , no where near Sawgrass Apt

I am not going to, nor do I want to get into a religious debate. However, WWJD (What would Jesus do), or wouldn't Jesus accept her to his teachings? My feeling, my faith and I understand it may not be yours, so just stating a feeling not trying to start a debate.

I'm not a Baptist and don't even go to church but I hope that most congregations welcome anyone and would like to think that they leave the big stuff (like condemnation) to the big guy. I'm just saying......

LOL I don't see her terms are "particularly restrictive" at all. They seem to be pretty standard so far. If they keep asking for extensions and blowing them...then things may change. Right now, it seems like she is being treated just as any other defendant in any other case. If they restricted her more than normal...Baez would be screaming publically that she was being singled out.

They might be the sort of Christians who believe that sinners especially need their prayers. They might think they can save Casey, or that their prayers will help her to tell the truth. Just coming at it from a Catholic viewpoint.

I thought they were in the business of saving souls and who would be a better candidate than Casey?

I know, I know I am the question queen today. lol
Were her house arrest conditions set when her bail was set, or afte rthe bond was posted?
The only reason, I ask is because the bond was (IMO) set as high as it was to keep any hope of her getting out from coming true. Most judges with setting the bond so high, wouldn't have worried about putting that much effort into the release conditions. I don;t even know why this mattersm been painting maybe the fumes are getting to me.

She was already staying with Tony practically all the time according to Clint. Normally when a person rents an apartment they need a steady income, such as a real job! :D

True, she was. but, my theory is Tony was serious about Casey, but disinterested in a longterm relationship with a woman with a child.
Perhaps he'd also made comments about things moving too fast, with her having practically moved in, and told her so.
I think she may have wanted to move in officially as a room mate--hence the pretending to have a job--, once the existing room mate moved out but, for Tony, that was too much too soon.
So, she stole money for first and last, furniture, utilities, etc., and scouted out an apt. across the street.
The final obstacle to her dream life with her dream man, was her own daughter.
:-((((

No, I never wanted to debate, I was just curious.

I would hope so.

Not to mention how ODD it would be that they have to get Caylee's picture out there when Casey supposedly has the info inside her rotten, little head.

Where is Caylee? Casey knows but she STILL can't say... in jail or out of jail...... it's a secret. Nyah, nyah, nyah.

What do they teach ? Do they believe in repentance and forgiveness ? How do they reach out to new converts ?
