I had no Idea......and apologize.

Remember how elated George was after Casey told him that? She's alive! She's close! We are going to have a big party! That wasn't his exact words, but you get the drift. No wonder the guy was pissed off on Friday. Casey just keeps proving how cold hearted she is.

George was very emotional about his visit with Casey last week and so optimistic. Then on Friday, he was so angry. He was taking it out on the media camped in his driveway and later apologized. I think it's possible George is just coming to grips with the fact that Caylee probably isn't coming home.

There is also a picture at the below link of George and Cindy putting up balloons:

http://www.myfoxorlando.com/myfox/p...=35&locale=EN-US&layoutCode=TSTY&pageId=1.1.1

(snip)
Instead of having what should have been a big birthday celebration, it was a quiet day for the family. "Its just gonna be my son, my wife and I at the house," said Anthony.

Caylee's grandmother, Cindy, made chili, the toddler's favorite dish. Balloons waved outside the home and a cake was decorated to signify Caylee's third birthday, "a small cake inside with a little '3' on it, we're gonna light it. I want to light it if she's here," George said, choking up with tears.

In my opinion, the unconditonal love should be directed toward the one who deserves it, CAYLEE!

Of course - that's why i said we all wish that's what casey were doing. I'm a mother and I really can't imagine what I'd do if my daughter were in jail for losing (at worst) my grand daughter - it's truly a terrible situation, but if Casey is really as much of a sociopath as some on WS believe (I'm no authority) then it doesn't seem like her parents losing belief in her would matter to her one iota...but it could quite possibly break their hearts even further knowing that they had tried to break their daughter re: what really has happened to Caylee, especially if they suspect their daughter is to blame in some way...almost like they'd then feel guilty that they had in some way also turned on their daughter...again, it's nothing to do with how Casey perceives it - it's how her family perceives their own actions. Thanks to those who answered my questions...Sunshinegirl and Absolut.
$45,000 is a lot of money, any thoughts on where it all went or did I miss that also? LOL

They have not made any of that info public yet.. but I did hear Cindy mention that she turned over receipts to the CSI. I'm sure they already tracked down all the purchases she made and are possibly checking into surveillance cameras at these locations?!? (No mention of this has been made, but I would certainly hope so)!!!

The BIG problem with their media interviews is the prosecutor in this matter can use all these statements against them, assuming there is going to be a trial. The prosecutor will use every contradictory statement! Casey's attorney is totally cringing because he cannot undo what is already done here.

Yep. I just re-read about this in a book about Darlie Routie. If there is a grand jury, I think it's safe tos say the Anthonys will get called and placed on the stand.

Hi all,

First time poster, LONG time reader here @ Websleuths. Been following the Jon Benet case forever it seems.

"Thinaire" because I am living up here in the altitude too <LOL>. Its nice up here.

Reader, because y'all are sooo fast I find myself reading and reading and then too shy to post! You guys are GOOD!

I heartilty agree with Robotdog....the fact that the entire group that surrounded Casey are staying silent seems to me to indicate that the police have moved VERY quickly to nail "Caseysworld" down.

I have been dumbfounded by the grandparent's statements and want to believe that they are only helping the police behind the scenes by seemingly supporting Casey's accounting of events....well one can hope cause I am sure getting dizzy from having my jaw drop after every interview they give.

Another thing is the lack of physical searches. I see the family up to their eyeballs in posters, bracelets, etc and cannot help but see the McCanns. The search: get your d*** a#### out - there -and -search -but -for -gawds- sake- don't- find- her, -she -may- be- in -danger & only Casey can tell us how to SAVE her.

On this I could only picture everyday caring people tromping around in the heat, out on the woods and brush, by the waterways (bugs and gators!)...sweating, itchy and eyeballing snakes and gators...but SILENT, no questions please.

The "hinkymeter", a great Websleuthism, has gone off alot on this one.

Hinky on:

Caylees father's ID. Seems to be not part of anyones concern (LE or family) in this scenario...so why the different accounts? One is out of state dead, one on the way to party dead, one old boyfriend (Cindy's statement on stand)

Georges recall and gas can story.

Cindy's turnaround on the car smell.

And alot more you all have so competently covered.

Cindy PO'ed because the police did not get this evidence or that so grandma is giving it to PI or whoever? Washing it? Mmmmm, nooo. One of the cosmic jokes on we girls is that alot of us DO become our mothers...the apple does not fall far from the tree.

God Bless that poor little child and the people Casey has hurt.

I'm leaving it to LE to rule out any cover ups being done by the Anthony's. I know some parents are so obsessed over a kid that they will put them before anyone else, even grandchildren. I can't forget about the hair dresser who said Cayley had bruises on her leg, body, and a mark under her eye. I don't know the Anthony's, so I don't know what they're really like, if they're decent people, or what they would do. There's just a missing helpless toddler and a bunch of tail chasing behavior going on by the whole lot of them.

ok - help me out here - i've read almost every thread here on Caylee since the case began...but i haven't had time to listen in to the TV,too... LOL...when was the hairdresser quoted re: these bruises and what thread was it contained in? somewhere between 65-73??? <sighs> I have such a heavy heart about this missing child..

I do too...except I keep banging the drum that these people need to get OUT of the media spotlight for their own sanity. Rather than banging about for personal assistants, the best investment they could ever make is to hire or negotiate a deal with a professional PR person to represent them. It would gradually reduce the negative perception the family has by the public for their inaccuracies and inconsistencies, and it would also protect more of their privacy. They'd also have time to be able to focus on that family getting Casey to talk with them and seperate them from their daughter's actions and the overwhelming setiment about her.

I only say this because it is in their very best interests given the current stituation.

Agreed. And a lot of other WS posters in this forum agree with you, too.

It was mentioned in the bond hearing by the lead investigator. No date was given, no name.

Hi everyone...I'm a newbie so be gentle. I've been chomping at the bit to get in here!! I have lots of questions and theories...I don't know where to begin...
about the money...where was Casey spending all of the money she stole from Amy and her mother??
It wasn't for gas or diapers ...so..what was it??? I know going out partying is expensive but come on...she blew lots of it!!
Also, I'm curious to find out about the whole car bit...who drove it home from the wrecking yard?...was it driven to find Casey the night of the 15th?...where exactly did they find Casey that night..I don't think that has been reported...only that Amy told Cindy where to find her...was Casey intoxicated when her mother found her and took her home??
Any info??

The thing that keeps me up at night is the ZFG name and the connection to June 17th at the Sawgrass apartments. It is not simply a coincidence.

The way that she KNOWS the exact spelling is strange - it's not like she was writing her checks every week.

Did you know that you can go online and find the owner of a car with just their license plate number?

Have any of you ever lived in an apartment complex? Many residents take their trash to the dumpster on or in their trunk. Taking trash out of your trunk and placing it in an apartment complex dumpster would not be suspicious.

If she SAW a Hispanic woman walking out of apartment 210 on the 17th she would only need to get her license plate number and then get online at the nearest library.

The problem is that this woman DID NOT actually ever live there.

The parents are the only people backing up the story about knowing the name Zanny - and smelling the car as late as the 24th.

Also the George's story about the wheel chucks in the trunk makes no sense. Why would he keep tools in the car that his daughter used? Why wouldn't he use jack stands to rotate the tires? You need to have both the front and rear of the car on opposite sides off the ground at the same time to rotate tires.

I believe the hairdresser called in with the information right away. I'll try to find a link.

Here is a link:
http://www.cfnews13.com/News/Local/2008/7/22/bail_hearing_tuesday_for_mother_of_caylee_anthony.html

This mentions the hairdresser report and a pic that was given showing a cut under the eye.

Yeah, I hear you! I am so pissed though at Casey because she is the ONLY one that holds the key to this mystery. She has not been forthcoming from Day One. Gotta say, even if this was my daughter, I would chuck her in an instant to get my innocent grand-daughter. Casey was in a position to make choices . . . little Caylee only lived with the choices of her mother.

That's a what-if I didn't think of. I also think Cindy knew with Casey in the car driving to the local OC police station the first time that she wasn't "working" either.

Ok - so I need to go listen to that hearing - thanks.

ITA. However, I get the feeling that the media is telling them that they (the Media) will get the news out about Caylee IF the family will answer a few questions about Casey first. What option would they have?

The song "Dirty Laundry" by the Eagles describes the American Media well.

Mellich questioned family members yesterday concerning Anthony's treatment of Caylee after a tip from a hairdresser corroborated suspicions of abuse he had after seeing a picture of Caylee with a mark under her eye. Each family member said he or she had never witnessed any abuse.

Hope this helps...

Snipped respecfully.

Hey NOW. That something I haven't seen asked. That's pretty interesting, unless we can figure out some common sense reason he needed them to do it "his way."

I think that's what's gotten so many ppl to the core - she's a little, 3 year old child who didn't do anything but live and who couldn't make her own choices...and who likely was in the wrong plae at the wrong time b/c of something her mama did or didn't do...it makes my chest heavy typing this b/c as much as I don't want it to be true, I think it's more probable than not that she is deceased. I still pray for her, though.
