Just my opinion, but, no one in their right mind would be holding that child knowing EVERYONE is looking for her. And, to do this, would mean jail time. I don't think Casey has ANY friends on this planet willing to do that for her.

Let's suppose Casey did leave Caylee with someone. Casey could have given any reason for leaving her there. When the case broke on the 15th of July, if that person was an illegal immigrant, what would happen at that point?

Early in the case one of the investigators stated that they received a tip from a hairdresser that said they saw Caylee and that at the time Caylee had bruises and a black mark under one eye. The investigator said that he later received a cell phone photo of Caylee with a mark under her eye. But, no date was given for when the hairdresser saw Caylee or when the cell phone photo was taken.

Ok - so why wasn't he & the hairdresser called to the stand to corroborate what was going on during the bond hearing, to ensure Casey's bond wasn't lowered??? would there be any real or leverage reason not to use this at that time?

So....George and Cindy are now keeping gifts sent by well wishers? After he threw out a big trash bag full of them, I'd sure think twice before I would send anything! Maybe a donation in her name to a charity.....

It takes longer than three days before a dead body starts to smell.
If the dead body is in a casket and the casket is shut and you open it on the third day it does not smell yet but there is dark spots on the body at that time.

If they have a brain, they will leave the child in a heavily populated area and run. They would have to know that she would be recognized, given that her face is plastered all over the news. Or conscience would win out and they would call the police anyway. If they are an illegal alien, they would realize that the last thing they need is a miisng child to bring attention to them. Not to mention that person would have friends, at least someone would have seen Caylee in the last almost 8 weeks.

What a rude and SAD awakening!

It's important to note at that time it was cold in Indiana - 9 people I think died in that accident. That purse was only in the vacinity of the dead for 4-5 hours, and it smelled like human decomposition even when the family was returned it several days later.

So it that could be the case, in that weather, and in that short of time, one can only assume what could happen if it were longer and in heat.

eta: I only mention because I had one of those "oh really" moments when the family brought it up with Matt Lauer in their interview, talking about getting their daughter's personal effects back, etc.

That's because covering a body slows decomp. In a hot place, or uncovered a bosy can get to the point where you can smell it after a mere 18 hours, I'll find the link again.

Lucky for her in this scenario the mother waited a month and never released a picture or a sketch.

Did they say the smell of death or the smell of decomp? As I pointed out above, there can be quite a difference.

Has anyone mentioned how the Hispanic community has reacted to Casey's story about the Nanny. I know in Union, SC there was a lot of outrage from the black community over Susan Smith's allegations. Community leaders had to do a lot of damage control after that.

Was the Pontiac a 2 door or 4 door sunfire?

I meant that Caylee would be recognized since her face is plastered all over the news.

If Casey hadn't been lying repeatedly, it could be a possibility, however, she lied to her parents that she had a job when in fact SHE DID NOT. This is a woman who lied when she didn't have to. I don't think for an instant she left that child with anyone. She is the last one that saw Caylee and she is the ONLY one who knows where Caylee is. I just don't see any other scenario based on THE FACTS.

If Casey and someone else conspired to keep Caylee from Cindy, what law has been broken? Casey has every right to leave her child with whomever she wants and doesn't have to tell anyone. It's her kid. I think the attitude of the cops further give Casey cause, in her own mind, to continue this charade. jmo
I think her friend(s) are laughing their heads off at all the drama. jmo

Yes, but there can be a difference between "death" and decomp. The smell of brain matter is very distinctive and terrible, (you don't want to know how I know that) but nothing like decomp. The same thing with the smell of blood. Unless they specificallly said that they know what decompisition smelled like there could be a difference.

Thanks, not my kids. I just noted it because it was not something I expected that family to talk about and thought about this case when I heard it. You're right - it could be different.

If she did leave Caylee with someone, then she was lying when she told the police that she was kidnapped. That, at the least, is a crime.

The thing that keeps me up at night is the ZFG name and the connection to June 17th at the Sawgrass apartments. It is not simply a coincidence.

The way that she KNOWS the exact spelling is strange - it's not like she was writing her checks every week.

Did you know that you can go online and find the owner of a car with just their license plate number?

Have any of you ever lived in an apartment complex? Many residents take their trash to the dumpster on or in their trunk. Taking trash out of your trunk and placing it in an apartment complex dumpster would not be suspicious.

If she SAW a Hispanic woman walking out of apartment 210 on the 17th she would only need to get her license plate number and then get online at the nearest library.

The problem is that this woman DID NOT actually ever live there.

The parents are the only people backing up the story about knowing the name Zanny - and smelling the car as late as the 24th.

Also the George's story about the wheel chucks in the trunk makes no sense. Why would he keep tools in the car that his daughter used? Why wouldn't he use jack stands to rotate the tires? You need to have both the front and rear of the car on opposite sides off the ground at the same time to rotate tires.

Dorvillian - Welcome to Websleuths!

You brink up some very good points! I know most people who do work on their own cars are certainly more likely to keep chucks in the garage rather than the trunk of a car. And, chucks are usually used to prevent a car from rolling forward.

Do you have a link for a website to check license plate numbers?

A body in a casket is embalmed..that is why it doesn't smell.

True, but under the current circumstances, and knowing she has been reported as MISSING, Casey's rights go out the window and the rights of Caylee take presendence.

Good grief, none of us can keep up with this woman's lies!
