How do we know HOW long Caylee's body was stashed in Casey's trunk? Did forensics prove this?

According to the article the Winn Dixie allowed the A's to view the video on Sunday. So...did they or did they not believe the child in the video was Caylee? I'm thinking back to CA's GMA interview on Monday where she states they were in Gainesville due to a tip that Caylee was seen but I don't think she mentioned they viewed the video or confirmed it was Caylee?

I mean, if it were my child, I think I'd recognize him even from behind (tho the videos do tend to be grainy).

I agree...my GOD if i saw a little girl that looked like her, i would walk right over and say something, if its not, i'm sure anyone would be understanding especially in that area knowing the case.
The false accusations and false reports should stop...its only hurting the case.

There will ALWAYS be sitings. But the sitings are of little girls who LOOK like Caylee. Unless the rpeporter knows Caylee personally, they cannot say it is her. Cindy does so like to muddy that issue.

Thanks, RR. I missed that post. You are correct. 2.6 days is the decomp number given in the report as being only what condition the body had deteriorated to at the point of being in the trunk. It doesn't say how long the body was in the car, only that the body had decomposed 2.6 days when it left the trunk and was no longer decomposing there.

IMO, what kind of a kidnapper/new parents/pedophile would bring Caylee to a local FL grocery store, knowing SOMEONE would recognize her. Just another false sighting, a waste of LE's time...

While I do not think Caylee is alive, I also think sightings should be investigated. That's what we all would want if it was our child/grand child.

As crazy as it is, there have been kidnapped children living out in the open.
I forget the name of the boy that had been missing for years, yet he played outside.

I wouldn't tie my resources up with the physic leads but I would follow up a real sighting. All missing children deserve that much.

There always "seems" to be a "sighting" when there is other big news or a search taking place never fails.

That's a fact, every time. Not only is there a "sighting" but the Anthony's ALWAYS do something to get THEM back in the media. Long as everyone is talking about them, it means they are not discussing the murder, just the craziness of grannie. Smoke & mirrors. The Anthony's put on a better circus than PT Barnum.

What I do not understand is why anyone who thought they saw Caylee would not call 911. So what do they do - have the A's phone number programmed or do they wait until they get to a computer to look the number up? Any person in their right mind that thought they had seen a missing child would call LE immediately.

The A's are not looking for an ALIVE Caylee so why should they be concerned with other folks looking? So they went to view a tape in a grocery store, what have they done with the rest of the "tips" that have come in to them, have they gone to check those out and what about the so called kidnappers GA was having watched? They know as well as the rest of us do, Caylee is no longer alive and they just do all this stuff to get in the media.

If it were my baby that had been "seen" all over the world, you can bet I would be going to those places to be sure myself if it were her or not. I would not be sitting at home on the computer or out making a fool of myself at searches and blaming everyone else for NOT looking. I would be the main one LOOKING for my baby.

I said nearly the same thing yesterday ... IMO the Anthonys should change their website page to instruct people to dial 911 and have local LE investigate immediately ... and LE will contact them afterwards.

But I doubt any of the Anthonys are going to listen to my advice.:bang:

Sorry if this has been said, but I think maybe someone from the kidsfindersnetwork could be calling in these "sightings" just to keep the hopes up. If so you really would have to feel bad for CA & GA for being pulled in......everytime someone calls with a "sighting" it just keeps their hope alive and gives kidsfinders a chance to say see the signs, flyers, t-shirts work people are calling.............go sell more GA. JMO
