Cindy is Unbelievable

What we learned in the recent hearings were that the 911 calls were between 8:00 and 9:45 (the last one). GA came home at 9:50 and LE arrived shortly afterwards. Yuri came to the house to speak with KC around 3:30am on July 16th and GA believes he told Yuri then. Yuri is unsure at what point GA mentioned the car smelling but did ask GA later about it.

The garage was not locked when LE arrived but the A's had left the garage door open to air out the car not that it was outside. The reason I know it was not outside is before GA left for work that afternoon he removed the battery to "keep anyone" from taking off with the car. When Yuri remembered about GA mentioning the car is when he sent someone over to secure the vehicle. jmo

The more I think about that night - the 16th....after the Sawgrass goose chase, etc....and after Yuri brought KC back to the house and left her until the next day....WHO THINKS CINDY LET KC GO TO SLEEP that night without questioning her like mad? I in no way in this world believe Cindy just said "night, night sweetheart" and everybody went to bed as usual.....

What time did GA leave for work that day? I thought it was late but memory is lacking. I know cindy went to work after the car was brought home.

If that garage door was open when LE arrived, they should have smelled the odor. Lee said it was suffucating. That is what make me think it was closed. Sorry to beat this subject...trying to reason why LE would not look at the car and ask questions if they were there. Seems like the A's steered them clear of it to me....for as long as they could.

I think Cindy was too busy cleaning the vehicle to worry about what casey was doing. That car was detailed out. I think George used to detail when he had the car agency. They knew how to do it. But they missed ONE hair..:great:

Agreed. I'm certain Cindy knew from that night on that Casey had killed Caylee. I was hoping that Cindy hadn't dumped out the vac after LE finally was able to get it's contents after Caylee's body was found. But I'm sure Cindy cleaned it out the vac too. I'm also absolutely certain that Cindy did vacuum up more hair in the trunk that would have showed signs of decomposition. I'm just thankful that Cindy missed that one hair. The car was apparently very well cleaned, except for the things they couldn't get rid of like that huge stain. I don't know how Cindy could have the stomach to clean that car.

Would there be anything left in the vacuum... even if she did clean it out? Could she have missed some things? I've never had to take apart a vacuum, but I have a hard time just getting the part you have to take off just to get all the dust emptied into a trash bag?

I also don't understand how she had the stomach to clean out that trunk knowing what it smelled like? I can not even imagine?

Sometimes I think about this.

Is it possible that it was ICA who cleaned the trunk on those days when the car was backed into the garage? I don't think she worried about the inside of the car. Remember she accidentally threw some dirty and smelly paper towels into the trash bag that was thankfully thrown into the dumpster and later retrieved.

When GA and CA got the car, they knew it smelled bad. They took out stuff like clothes, car seat, backpack, knife, etc and cleaned that, not knowing where the smell was coming from. But, do we know that they actually cleaned and detailed the car itself and/or the trunk? Wouldn't they have had to have done it before the LE first arrived? Were they ever alone after that?

For some reason, I was thinking about when LA was in the car that night with ICA, he made a comment about how messy the car was. Maybe it was just the smell he was commenting on.

Cindy cleaned the car, aired the car, washed the evidence. Removed the knife (probably a steak knife which was used to cut the duck tape) Took her Binder and Lord knows what else she has that wasn't reported. Gave LE the wrong hair brush (on purpose). And according to her cremated the wrong child's bones.'

Cindy is intrusive at the very least and crosses all boundaries of human behavior.

Makes ya wonder, doesn't it. Good thing she decided to be a nurse instead of a CSI investigator.

But they knew they could get away with it there to a point. I would have called them on it fifteen minutes into their antics.

They are in Perry's courtroom and George has been told to "be quiet". They have a right to be there, but they will have to act like everyone else and shut the $%# up and listen and be polite.

George is too stupid to refrain; he'll start with his idiotic faces and the tongue and the Unbelievables. What did he think they were questioning for at the hearing, fun? It was so Perry could hear and make a decision.

He will get the message very quickly but I bet that Judge Perry again makes a speech before the start of the trial that nothing will be tolerated from anyone that goes against the professionalism of this trial.
Bold by me.

You think GA made faces before, I think there is a real possibility the defense will try and pin this on him... Watch the faces then. If he is in on it, he may sit stoically by and let it happen, after all he said he would do anything to protect ICA, and the ZG defense is a total looser. They need a fall guy to have any hope in this trial at all. (IMO)

Don't forget she washed KC's cloths, the gray pants! What good mom she is.

When they took KC out in handcuffs they took her out through the open garage door. I don't think the A's would have closed the door because the smell would be drifting inside the house instead of out the open door. I often wonder if Sgt. Hosey walked 40 foot away from the house to get away from the smell. jmo

Perhaps OT, but I keep having the most stupid, nagging thought about her washing those pants. If you had pants that smelled like a "dead body in the damn car", would you wash them and wear them again? ewwwwww

Lee said when he arrived the smell was so bad it was permeating inside the house.

"For some reason, I was thinking about when LA was in the car that night with ICA, he made a comment about how messy the car was. Maybe it was just the smell he was commenting on."

FWIW I do not recall Lee saying they were IN the car itself. He said they were in the garage. I also don't recall him saying anything about the car being messy. I do recall him commenting on the smell.

Also, Lee stated that he arrived at the house BEFORE his mother and Casey arrived. And IIRC he said he went into the house through the garage and that is when he first smelled the car.

Now, do we know whether or not the garage door was left in the open position after Cinday and Casey got there? Do we know if it was in the open position when the police arrived?

Also, whether the garage door was open or closed to the outside, if a police officer escorted Casey through the garage past the car in order to put her into a cruiser, you would think that officer would have smelled something.

I think, and this has been awhile, I remember CA saying she had shut the garage door but they opened all the doors and trunk of the car to air it out. When they got home I believe they opened the doors to the garage to keep the smell from going into the house.

I'm sure they all smelled the car. Yuri may have come in through the front door. I noticed on media videos that this is where they entered into the home when KC was bonded out.

I remember several LE members saying they walked through the garage and commenting on the smell of the car.

Was there a bag of garbage in the trunk or was it the one they got from the dumpster at the the tow service?

I've followed this case from the beginning, and have never been critical of LE, but I do believe they dropped the ball on the car.

If they had taken the car because they thought there had been a body in it they would have had to mirandized her. I don't think they were thinking she killed her daughter at that point and the car had been in the tow yard so who knows what it was next to....plus Mr. and Mrs. Clean had gotten at it so it probably looked pretty clean to them, just picked up some rotting smell from the tow yard. jmo

No garbage in the trunk. Bet there were no maggots either...halfway out to sea by the time CA called 911. Funny how they talked about the maggots popping in the bag but the trunk was clean. Inside the car had been cleaned also. jmo

"Side note: I happened to be chewing gum while watching the Morgan testimony. She chomps very hard and very fast when she lies or she doesn't want to answer a question. I tried to do a silly experiment by trying to keep up with her chomping. I lasted about 5 seconds and nearly bit my tongue off. It must takes years of practice to chomp gum like that. "

This made me laugh!

Quite frankly, I don't think I've ever SEEN a couple who chop on gum as much as Cindy and George do. I mean, certainly we've all seen people chewing gum - but to THIS extent? Anyone?

They stand by casey due to their own guilt. They were part of this cover-up.

If cindy truly was worried about Caylee, she would have reported the car missing on day 1 or 2. So what if it is a false report. The benefit outweighs a stupid false report. Cindy/George would have found Case, the car and possibly Caylee by calling the car in stolen. :banghead:

The fact is Cindy/George suspected or knew that Caylee was harmed and they were sticking their heads in the sand and going into denial about harm that came to Caylee, thus entereing the mourning period and then the "Protect casey Phase".

They did not want to be charged w/murder and wanted to establish they were not involved in disposing of a corpse. If cindy and george's car was not implicated, I wonder if we would have ever heard about Caylee. :waitasec:

You made me have an aha moment, Whisperer. LE has taken many hits because they did not inspect and take the car into custody immediately. But isn't it a fact that the smell of death within it was a huge, really huge factor with George, Lee and Cindy? Why didn't they feel any responsibility to bring this to the forefront when LE first arrived? Wouldn't it be natural to reiterate that Caylee is missing and the car smells like death? Were they already in cover up mode? Cindy, in her last 911 call, had already linked the two facts together. Did they rethink their positions and decide not to make an issue of it? How soon did their cover up begin ~ or could it just have been hopefulness or denial? IDK but based on their past performance I am suspicious that they were already in protective mode. . . What do you all think? Shouldn't they be accountable here too?
