I'm curious if any of the jurors are smokers...lol. If I was a juror I'd need frequent smoke breaks...and generally gov't buildings are all non-smoking so you would have to travel a bit off site to be in compliance.

edited to add....the craving for a cigarette unfortunately also causes a sense of urgency.

I looked this up early in the trial, it was actually easier than you would think LOL The rules were a bit more relaxed I think if you were going over there for work, and that was all he was allowed to do, no travelling or sight seeing while there IIRC Forms had to be completed and submitted beforehand, it looked like a pain in the bum.

Another fallacy of Diversion. The "CM is guilty" camp alleges the gravesite was close to where he lives/was familiar with, not just the vast desert. It's not the entire Mojave Desert. So he alleged murder the victims hundreds of miles away, then drove them essentially "home" to bury them.
