I'm not sure if we know the motive for this yet, do we?

I don't know if there's different colour definitions in England but that's definitely dark grey hair and a light grey beard!

Hazel eyes are supposed to be brown, just not as dark as typical brown eyes. His eyes are very pale and I would say green grey it blue.

Anyway it just shows that descriptions vary :)

I agree that it's reassuring when nutjobs look nutty! Or rather, it's just not disturbing like it is when they look normal...

Hazel does not = brown. It is a mix of brown and green. Yes, sometimes they can be more brown than green. But they can often be more green than brown.

And when talking about hair...people usually say grey for hair that is ALL grey. Some grey would be "salt and pepper." I don't really think there's "dark grey" when referring to hair. That would just be considered black, as in this case.

And people talking about the word "swarthy"...that can just refer to skin that is more of an olive tone....which doesn't necessarily mean dark skin.

None of this is at all relevant really but yeah.

Unless they were volunteers or staff, I would think this would be a very delicate matter of privacy to consider whether to release names.

You might be right. I would like to see their names released so they get as much attention as officer Swasey, but I can understand if we aren't told.

And FYI, cnn is still reporting that he is 59.

Edit: But I trust the booking info that jjgordo posted more!

CNN is barely better then Faux News. If you want accurate information you have to get it from foreign media sources.

After Autopsy Results and victim's families are notified, it is believed that the names of the victims will be released, per reporter on KRDO.

I remember about 4 years ago when we were following case and somebody asked me to follow a very strange sounding link ... those who follow the news will know which one I'm talking about. I said heck no I'm not clicking on that link and I was *educated * afterwards . Apparently it is a well respected foreign mainstream media station I had never heard of

Agree that most foreign news stations are sometimes the best for US coverage

A few thoughts :
57 is a bit older than some of the other mass shooters.Imo it's an odd age to go shooting people for whatever reason.
I wonder if he has recently been diagnosed with a terminal or debilitating disease of some sort. Maybe thinking he didn't have long to live and just lost it ?

I don’t think that age has much to do with it.

Scott Philip Roeder was 51
James Charles Kopp was 45
Eric Robert Rudolph was 32
John C. Salvi III was 24
Rev. Paul Jennings Hill was 40
Michael Frederick Griffin was 31

RSBM

Ikr ? He def. looks bat-poop crazy....
Wonder if he had family to check in now and then ; and how long he might have been 'unhinged'.
Makes one wish there were special communities for people like this -- where they'd be restricted from access to weapons and have to be assessed for needing meds ; etc.

"The mayor of Colorado Springs says authorities aren't ready to discuss a possible motive of the gunman who attacked a Planned Parenthood clinic there but says people can make "inferences from where it took place." "

http://www.usnews.com/news/us/artic...-police-id-clinic-gunman-as-robert-lewis-dear

Wow, this is cool imo, an actual announcement saying that people can "make inferences", that's a first that I've seen. Usually, it's "I can not comment on that", etc, etc.
