On paper, Barry may be broke. Any assets that remained after paying his attorney appear to have been transferred to family member/s.

IIRC, someone (unsure who) made a comment about this to Andy (about the house smelling like bleach), and he's the source of that info. I don't believe anything else was ever said about it.

That is the way I remember it…. He mentioned it on Profiling evil…. and as you stated I don’t think anything else was said about any bleach smell in the house

Barry Morphew sold his house ten months after SM disappeared / was killed. Possibly he moved SM around this time.

My guess on when SM was likely moved. It would have been, IMO, before snow, frozen ground and hunting season. So late Summer early Fall of 2020. That also gives 2-3 yrs for clothing to degrade, tissue to decompose how the autopsy described and the state of her bones. This is still wild to me and the original location I have no clue. imo

Yes the hotel room that was said to have a chlorine smell and there was also a comment from I believe Suzannes brother Andy that the house smelled like bleach too - it may have been a second hand comment

Yes as do several Holiday Express' I have stayed in over the years. I always ask for a room as far up from the pool and away from the pool. They are indoor pools and they smell like chorine which the manager confirmed when LE was there.

I remember when that came up but I think prosecution would "lose" that argument if they tried to use it to point to Barry. He probably drove all over the place for all kinds of reasons like all kinds of people. It wasn't a destination town but it wasn't an untraveled road.

It is just another jigsaw piece when put together with all the others shows a very clear picture of Barry's guilt.

I agree with @Seattle1 - the proposition that the road to Suzanne's burial site near Moffat was well known to Morphew is beyond doubt.

You go through Moffat and turn east on that road to get to Crestone. Crestone is adjacent to the Sangre de Cristo Wilderness, a well-regarded hunting area for elk, black bears, bighorn sheep, and mountain lions among other game. That would have been Morphew's destination, verified by the truck data. I expect that Morphew went hunting there more than once, with witnesses who can confirm it.

You're right, though, if you are saying that it doesn't place Morphew stopped precisely at the burial site.

Given it was only 2 months into COVID for the US when Suzanne was murdered, I can't recall now if the pool was just closed, or if they'd actually drained it? Even if it was closed, you'd still be able to smell the chlorine if the room was close enough to the pool.

Yes I recall the manager was quoted by some youtuber broadcasting from outside the hotel/ the pool was and had been drained and closed. Per Jeff the room REEKED of chlorine and made his eyes burn. That does not come from a drained pool.
JMO
