I am mad with JL. If some one I love was murdered, and I had a strong suspicion who did it, and with potentially some corroborating evidence - I would be contacting LE immediately. Either directly if I could be guaranteed anonymity , or through an intermediary . JL is a horrible person IMO.

What's kind of wild about his uttersly stupid "oh Suzanne" video is that, even within such a short time almost no one believed him. I recall the convos we all had at the time. He made it so terribly obvious.

It was so bad, cringey as the kids would call it. I felt embarrassed to watch it. Any mildly perceptive person could tell there was nothing truthful about it.

Since this thread starts with the very first post about Suzanne being missing, I've been reflecting on the video Barry made in the beginning.

How many of us watched that and came to the same conclusion: What did you do to your wife?

I didn't even need to see that video. I knew in my gut he had something to do with it from the start, when I heard the neighbor had been asked to go check on her and call 911. If a perpetrator can avoid calling 911, they will.

None of us ever believed he went to Denver on a Sunday, Mother's Day especially, for a construction job. So many red flags right off the bat!

My thought is that BM may have got some help from a person/ or he blabbed to a person. , and subsequently this person tipped off the police. The odds of investigators first saying, they were very close to finding her during first trial) and then ‘accidentally’ finding her is to much of a coincidence. MOO

Luckily for Justice - the man just cannot keep his mouth shut or his stories straight. He is forever telling on himself. That is why I think there is somebody out there that knows more than they think they know

He kills his wife - is hooked up with Sho - and then he has the brilliant idea to also vote Suzanne's ballot in the pres election. No red flag there.
Also luckily for Justice, although BM is quite street smart and manipulative, intellectually he is a HUGE MORON.

BM’s video plea when SM went missing didn’t raise any red flags for me just because he offered a reward only for her safe return. It discourages scammers, false tips, and people looking to take advantage of the situation. It also avoids giving anyone incentive to harm the victim just to collect money. BM was probably coached to word it that way by someone trying to help, someone who didn’t realize he had likely already killed her. imo

JL is a horrible weak man. I wish they could have charged him with obstruction but it must not have met the criteria. He’ll claim he was afraid of BM but not for the 5 years he was having both a physical and emotional affair with SM. haha okay dude. He could have come forward with an attorney but he gambled that LE wouldn’t find him and lost. The affair, whatever, they were both a distraction to the other one who were unhappy with their lives and neither one was going to leave their marriage for the other one. They used each other, it wasn’t love, it was limerance. But his silence is soooo much worse than the affair, IMO

No excuses from me for JL and his failure to contact LE immediately upon learning SM was missing, but IIRC, SM and JL began their affair in 2018 when SM contacted JL via social media after moving to Colorado. SM disappeared May 2020 so they'd been having their affair for 2 years at the time she disappeared.
