I was really hoping he wouldn't be able to cobble together bond.

On the bright side, I don't think BM will be able to comply with the requirements. He doesn't think laws and rules apply to him and I can't see him suddenly deciding they do.

I don't have great faith that he'll be held to account if he  dintknowhecouldnt. Strays outside Colorado. Didn't know he couldn't, he was helping chickens cross the road. Swaps more license plates. Didn't know he couldn't. He's a one plate kind of guy. Votes for dead people, uses expired BAM, uses expired BAM on people, conducts Bible studies with his clothes off (crude? he's the one who rebranded shacking up as Bibling, not me).

i just don't see the judge slamming him back into the slammer where he belongs if he breaks the conditions of his release. His lawyers will minimize any breach. Slight, they'll say. You know, like going by his middle name. Oh, really? Where does the 'Moore' fit in then?

Golden boy just blew $300,000 to buy his way out of jail.

And now his lawyers will do enduring in their power to delay trial. Because This Side of Trial is the ONLY PLACE he's a free man.

$300,000.

He could have gotten a divorce. He could be living his best (crooked) life with no wall closing in on him. $300,000. That's a nice down payment on an executive home. That's a dream vacation. That's a couple of spectacular weddings. That's money that could have been invested in the common good.

I don't the state will press but I wish they would, force an accounting, internal audit of his books. See just what funny business he had employed, to hide assets. Where praytell did his financial backers get their hands on $300,000?

I hope the judge sets a firm trial date and does not budge, or his team will delay this until all the witnesses die their natural deaths.

Justice has been delayed already too long.

Barry Morphew, in jail on murder charges in the death of his wife, is in the process of posting bond, his attorney confirmed.

But he remains in an Alamosa County jail as he waits to be fitted for a GPS ankle monitor and to finalize details with a local bondsman.

His attorney, David Beller, confirmed late Thursday night that “funds for the bond were paid by friends and supporters,” and added that there are no guarantees that Morphew would be released from jail by the weekend.

[…]

Morphew is liquidating all of his assets in order to pay his legal bills, according to Beller, and will be preparing for trial while confined to a Colorado residence. Under stipulations from the court, he will only be allowed outside for legal and medical appointments.

An Alamosa County Sheriff’s deputy confirmed Wednesday night that Morphew was still at the Alamosa County Detention Center as he prepares for his release.

This is bothersome, who are his "supporters?"

Holding by me -- quote from his attorney --

Barry is liquidating his assets? Or hiding them?

BIG difference.

Will we ever break the greatest lie ever told -- 'I loved her so much I couldn't live without her'? How many different versions of this are there? 'I love you do much I can't let you leave me'?

Boys and girls, that's not love. That was never love. It's not love, it's not loving. It's selfish, immature, one-sided, manipulative, shall I go on?

The BAM was sadly novel, but the story isn't a new one.

HDV.

He's also IMO a usurper. 'Feel sorry for me. Because of what's happened to me.'

As if he's some kind of victim.

He isn't one. He creates them.

So can post a 2.5 million dollar bail but has "public defenders". Unreal.

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KKTV) - A man accused of killing his wife years ago is posting bond and will be released from jail Friday, according to the Alamosa County Sheriff’s Office.

According to officials, Barry Morphew’s bond paperwork is done, and the $3 million bond has been posted. They say Morphew will be on house arrest and wearing a GPS ankle monitor.

Morphew’s attorney, David Beller, tells 11 News, “Mr. Morphew’s supporters used a bondsman to post bond.”

Will we be subjected to another father/daughter(s) moment as he walks out of jail hand in hand with MM1 and/or MM2? I feel like puking over the fact that a judge allowed this to happen.

Add me to the list of side-eyes on the "supporters".
And me.
Wherever that money has come from there will be a dodgy story connected to it.

He claims he is indigent and that he can't pay for an attorney, but he has "access" to $300,000 for "nonrefundable" bail. Who ever gets to ask him THAT question? Who holds him accountable? I don't understand!

Clerical errors. Sure.

Can't help but to wonder if Barry made any "clerical errors" in his maths.

Bondsmen don't appreciate inflated portfolios.

Really aggravating to watch Barry enjoy every Constitiutonal protection when all Suzanne wanted was to "figure it out civilly."

He couldn't be bothered, when it was her life, liberty and pursuit of happiness on the line.

He is walking around, free, with a gps monitor on his foot; yet, we don't even know what's Suzanne's feet are.

Where is the justice?

He will insist that it is not his money ,but that of his family and supporters.
He probably told someone where he had buried a stash of ill gotten gains in anticipation of his arrest and subsequently needing bail.

Is there no forensic accounting?

If he moved money, was he hiding it? Gifting it? Under the giving threshold? Or not really gifts after all? And of course, all on the up & up, right? No tax evasion naturally.

Please tell me someone is eyeballing his ballsy bookkeeping.

IMO BM’s been a shady character for a very lonnggg time, I suspect most of his life. To put it bluntly, a greedy, scheming liar, fraud, user, conman. The type that sees other people as objects, sizes them up for how useful they are to him, chews them up and spits them out so to speak once he’s done manipulating and using them to his advantage. Someone whom I don’t doubt burned many bridges in both Indiana and Colorado, and likely Arizona as well. It boggles my mind he’d have any friends left at all, let alone friends willing to go out on a limb and pay his non refundable bondsman’s fee to get him out of jail. And supporters? Who could those be?! Really hard for me to buy he has friends or supporters outside of his family willing to pay to bond him out, but who knows in this crazy case.

IMO either the “friends and supporters” his Attorney DB referred to are some duped individuals that have stuck around all these years & still being bamboozled and used by BM to his benefit, OR and imo more probable, they are the Morphew women (Mom, Daughters’, Sisters’) whom more than likely are the only friends/supporters he has left pooled their funds together to bond him out and perhaps his Attorney just used vague language describing them rather than saying his family member(s).

At any rate, some people BM’s Attorney described as “friends and supporters” were able to gather enough funds together to pay the bondsman’s 10-15% non refundable fee which could be $300k (10%) on the lower end, up to $450k (15%) on the higher end. They do not get this money back.

All I can say is this guy hopefully stays alive and shows up for all judicial proceedings and trial and that rational, reasonable, logical, common sense jury members are seated as he needs to be held accountable for what he did to Suzanne and God willing will be via conviction at trial followed by being sent off to the big house aka prison for a very long time, LWOP sounds about right to me. 🤞

Tick Tock…
