I dont get it? Did the judge not read the Probable Cause?

Just a few things that stood out for me, at this time. moo

-- Why does BM instruct the neighbors to call the sheriff that Suzanne is missing. Why doesnt he make the call.

-- Why did BM leave his home at 5 am on 5/10/2020 for a pre-planned work trip in Broomfield, CO, yet BM’s employee told LE that the plan was not to leave for Broomfield until the evening of 5/10/2020.

-- The employee noticed that BM failed to bring proper tools with him for the job and the necessary materials for the job had not arrived at the job site.

-- BM was in the Brookfield area for about 10 hours as seen by cameras at the hotel and nearby businesses. Of those hours, he spent less than one-half hour at the job site. Surveillance cameras shoed him driving around to various locations and discarding unknown items in separate trashcans.

-- Hotel video footage showed BM arriving back at his hotel room and remaining inside the room from approximately 12:34 pm to 5:55 pm. This is inconsistent with his statement to LE, he was in the hotel and not at the job site when he received the about Suzanne being unresponsive and missing.

-- Earlier interviews w/BM, told LE, that his marriage to Suzanne was “the best” and that the two had a “wonderful weekend” together.

-- Note: Suzanne confided in people of being unhappy in the marriage in the weeks and months leading up to her disappearance. More specifically, she discussed plans to divorce BM w/her close friend.

-- Suzanne kept documented notes of her problems in the relationship. She had been having an affair with an old (JL) acquaintance for the last two years. He lived out of state. They would communicate over LinkedIn and WhatsApp. Suzanne’s last known electronic message to JL was dated 5/9/2020 (2:11 pm) just 30+ minutes before BM returned home that day.

Hey, Defendant, Divorce was an option!

After May 5, 2020, Barry Morphew and Suzanne Morphew were alone at the house. A forensic download of Barry Morphew’s cell phone revealed that Barry Morphew had deleted a text chain with Suzanne Morphew from which an image of a single text remained. A “screen shot” of this single text message was saved on Barry Morphew’s phone on May 6, 2020. That image revealed a text from Suzanne that stated: “I’m done. I could care less what you’re up to and have been for years. We just need to figure this out civilly.”

And... the defendant was hiding. He's calling himself Lee Moore. lol

A grand jury indicted Morphew on murder charges this year, and he was arrested in Arizona, living under the alias Lee Moore.

Wonder who the "unamed" cash cow - opps I mean supporters are?

I hate that he bonded out but I am not surprised. Nor am I surprised that he has “fiends” who have helped him financially. He is a horrible human being but this is justice in America now. The bad guys seem to know how to take advantage. This is beginnng to sound like trial number 1.

I have two different thoughts on how he may have bonded out. 1. He has pledged his daughter’s properties , potentially leaving them homeless. 2.His Attorneys, confident that he would be cleared, and that they would win that $15 M case, found friends of BM who would help out.

Gross.

I don't know what's more gross, the idea of him being out (?) or the post I saw in last thread about slathering peanut butter onto steaks to celebrate his release. (You are what you eat.)

I strongly doubt he'll flee. But I only doubt it. Will he get at least some satisfaction from a snortle over those who fear he'll flee? Probably. And it'll speak so many volumes if he does flee, he'd be out of his mind to risk it. They'd catch up with him. What are the chances this guy's going to be able to find any place to conceal himself in the long term?

Since the beginning of this case, I've thought the money was funny.

I'd love to see a forensic accounting.

His "supporters" are clearly his family; I don't think BM has any friends.

I agree no friends ,but he will have a few shady business acquaintances. I have also wondered if he knows of a few secrets that some people in high rank jobs would not want to be made public so are open to being used and possibly blackmailed.

I really hope investigators are having an extremely thorough in depth probe into Barry's financial affairs and dealings going back years.

Just horrendous BM is out!

The next hearing in the case is set for Nov. 3. As for when the case could go to trial, attorneys said it would be next summer at the earliest.

Your Royal Highness BM is much too special and privileged to sit in that nasty little jail cell until trial time. Just ask his Mom, Sisters and any other family members that probably pooled their entire life's resources together for him to be able to be free until trial time.

His constant Con Game is exhausting and I don't know how in the world poor Suzanne put up with it as long as she did. I think it was because she was truly committed to him and her daughters. After her cancer returned much later in life, BM couldn't even be bothered to attend her Chemo sessions. WTH? No wonder she was looking for a little attention and compassion from someone.

BM is a small, selfish, vain, rude, crude, lying liar who lies domestic violence murderer. A jury of his peers will be able to step through the BS he is slinging easily and he'll end up right back in prison. I'm here for it all day long, every day and twice on Sundays.

This man is a danger to society, I can't believe he has posted bond.

I have often wondered if the $60K allegedly stolen from the safe was reimbursed via insurance.

In what way is he a danger to society? Just curious how you took that position legally. I don’t recall anything that would lead a judge to make that decision when he legally qualified for bail or bond. She restructured the amount but did not lower it. I don’t think we will see many if any legal missteps in this trial.

I'm not the original poster, however, I want to add my own personal opinion as to BM's threat to society, per se, even legally.

Suzanne Morphew's own brother had argued against Morphew's release, calling him a "flight risk and serial psychopathic controller" and requesting he remain imprisoned until a verdict is read.

When he was re-arrested in 2025, Morphew was living in Arizona under an alias, which suggests he poses a flight risk and deviousness to the community.

We have pages and pages of posts right here on WS and links that raise deep concerns about Morphew's manipulative behavior, any of which could be warranted for threat to anyone else.

We have SM's own feelings. Based on court documents, text messages, and interviews with family and friends--SM's complaints against her husband included statements of abuse, dishonesty, manipulation, domestic violence and controlling behavior, lest we forget SM stated she did not feel safe alone with him.

Text messages released by prosecutors show a marriage in severe decline in the months leading up to Suzanne's disappearance in May 2020.

This may be my own opinion, but it is a strong opinion.

But a legal stretch. There is no law prohibiting someone from using an aliased name and I am not sure a controlling personality is a risk to society. Everyone can hate his guts and wish him to disappear forever but everyone is entitled to their rights under law. The only sad situation in this country is poor uneducated people might sit in jail for over a year while educated upper middle class folks can take advantage of their legal rights better.

I don't believe he is. He was a danger to Suzanne in the moment he allowed his ego to control his anger and killed her.
Now that he's out and being monitored with the ankle bracelet, he's not going anywhere.
Even if he does something completely idiotic like try and remove it and disappear, they'll find him and throw his sorry self back into a cage until trial.

He's done, even with a few months of "freedom" (if being confined to your dwelling unless for medical or legal appointments can be called freedom) his life is still over.
