Agreed! He may think he is pulling one over on Elaine and Cory, but he is the one that is locked up without the freedom to do what he wants. Of course, I feel for them having to wait so long for justice for precious Dylan, but there’s satisfaction in knowing he’s not going anywhere.

Yes but Mark doesn’t care about being locked up. He only cares about making Elaine suffer and this just extends the family pain yet again. Make no Mistake Mark has won again in by having this postponed yet again.

Found Deceased - CO - Dylan Nicholas Redwine, 13, Broomfield, 19 Nov 2012 *father arrested*

11/9/20 Monday Day 7: 11/9/20 Update: Order regarding the defendant’s Motion on Mistrial (D-180). At the status conference on Nov. 9, 2020, the District Attorney made allegations concerning recent behavior of one of Mr. Redwine's attorneys & the contents of a telephone call made from the La Plata County Jail. The Court, for the reasons stated on the record & without making any findings as to the veracity of the allegations, finds that even if such allegations are true, the Court has no choice but to grant D-180 & declare a mistrial to ensure that Mr. Redwine has effective assistance of counsel. The Court sets the case for a setting conference via Webex Events on Friday, 11/13/20 at 11:00am.

DA Christian Champagne suggested that the defense attorneys might be exaggerating or fabricating the COVID19 symptoms in order to delay the trial. He said one public defender, John Moran, was seen out with another person, both unmasked. #dylanredwine

What a snake is Mark Redwine. He is enjoying every single minute of this. Poor Dylan forced to even visit this vile man. Sad.

https://www.courts.state.co.us/user...Evidence Relating to the White Van [P-45].pdf

I do recall allegations that the mail carrier reported she saw DR in Vallecito area after he was reported missing but the alternative suspect including a white van with DR as a
passenger and two witnesses is new to me. Perhaps it's because it was reportedly denied by the court earlier so why try to introduce it again? I guess we will learn on Jan 5, 2021....

Trial date rescheduled in 2012 slaying of Dylan Redwine of Monument
A new trial date has been set for a southwestern Colorado man accused in the 2012 slaying of his 13-year-old son, Dylan Redwine of Monument.

A 6th Judicial District judge on Nov. 14 rescheduled the trial date for Jan. 25. The rescheduling followed a mistrial ruling after members of Mark Redwine’s defense team cited concerns they are showing symptoms of COVID-19. The decision halted a weeklong effort to seat a jury and marked the sixth postponement in two years for Redwine, who was arrested in July 2017, court records show.

I really can’t say what I want to say about this, so I’ll just say...I’m so sorry that this creature gets to invade another of year of your life with his dramas, Elaine and Corey.
I can't even imagine what that family has gone through with this horrible man. And he now gets to 'work the court' and I'm sure he knows every single angle. He's a despicable human being.

From the link, jury trials were expected to resume on January 25, 2021 (Order 2020-18), and by new order 2020-23, jury trials in the Sixth Judicial District won't resume until Chief Judge Jeffrey Wilson determines it's safe to do so.

I believe Mark Redwine's trial was already declared a mistrial so the court will have to start over again with juror selection, etc. when the COVID19 conditions are lifted and the Sixth District calendar re-opens.

So far nothing has changed on the court site. He does have a status conference hearing on 1/5/21. I'm guessing that is still a go...

I cannot believe it is going to be 2021 and this trial has not even started. I don't think I've ever seen a trial delayed and rescheduled this much.
