Someone of FB mentions that the cell phone was turned off within an hour and a half of Dylan arriving to see his father.

I have had FOUR.....yes, 4....cups of coffee this morning.

It has been this way all week long as I read over Dylan's thread. He must be found safely and soon so I can reduce my caffeine intake!

at what point did the info that we had stating that

1. dylan was dressed and ready to go by either 6:30 -7:30 ? that dad saw him before he went to run the "errands"

2. Now everything (posts) are referring to the fact that dylan was not up and ready to go and that he over slept???

which is it? or are both just alternate theories?

Dylan's Dad said he seen his son that morning, he was still asleep. He went to town to do errands, got back home about 11:30 and Dylan was gone.

I'm not sure but my understanding was Dylan's Dad was going to take him to his friends but when Dylan didn't want to get up he went ahead into town to do his errands.

LOL...I really am sick (almost 3 weeks now). Started with a sore throat that almost went away...then boom! Upper respiratory crud and such. I refuse to take antibiotics! (well, until I'm closer to death, then I might change my mind)

In the midst of my illness, we are cleaning out my daughter's bedroom and closets. She is getting married in 2 weeks. Ugh. Last of 4 to leave home and its sad. But also happy.

Now you see why I need to smiley pills!

So sorry about you not feeling well. I always enjoy reading your posts on various threads, and feel like I know you. Best wishes to your daughter, the next two weeks will be so exciting for her, I imagine, leading up to the big day.

Are you worried about empty nest syndrome once she leaves home?

I had hoped to log on and find good news about Dylan today. The longer this goes on, the less hopeful I am about any good outcome.

I was looking earlier and not much info as to victim genders from what I could see. But two closest ones IIRC... one for child busted by ICE and one had a young victim not sure what age?

The sex offender registry in my state gives a lot more info on our offenders than I could find in Colorado! (Including all cars that offenders own or is at their residence.)

When there is no service cell phones keep looking for a signal which causes the battery to drain faster. Maybe Dylan got to hid dads Sunday night and just assumed his battery would be fine but it drained quickly and since they hit the sack early it wasn't plugged in. Then Monday morning his dad leaves and someone is watching because there is only one road. This person pulls up and picks up Dylan... No time to charge the phone. Dylan thinks this person is someone he can trust and is taking him to his friends.

f Dylan slept in for his meeting up with friends wouldn't the logical thing to do, is contact hus friends when he finally did get up.. And say something like.. "Hey, wait for me... I slept in" or "slept in, on my way"..

This meeting up with friends thing sounds a bit odd to me...

What I want to find out is, where was the dad? Can we really account for his whereabouts for those four hours?

SGT. DAN BENDER, LA PLATA CTY SHERIFF`S OFFICE (via telephone): The investigators checked at the different locations that Mark Redwine said he was at during that time, including a meeting or two in Durango, I believe. And those were confirmed

BENDER: We have interviewed everyone that we`ve been able to identify who knew or had any time spent with Dylan, and several of those have been multiple interviews

BBM the only person that would be would be dad? He picked him up at the airport. So I gather dad has had multiple interviews with LE. NO one else has came forward to say they saw Dylan once his plan landed...Dylan wanted to see his friends Sunday night but those plans where changed to Monday at 6:30 am (by whom - IDK)

BENDER: My understanding is -- and our investigators have checked his cell phone. Also, cell phones have GPS`s, so if they`re turned on, that gives a general location of the person. And we have been following up on those right along, and there`s been no activity on his phone whatsoever since Sunday evening sometime.

BBM so that tells me the phone is turned off. Why? He supposedly has his charger with him. LE knows what activities occured on the phone and the last time it was accessed and for what.

that was the answer regarding dad and if he had taken a poly. hmmmm. sounds to me like that would be the next step.

Now, I believe this interview was before LE asked for CCTV tapes from 6pm Sunday through Monday at noon....

My question is - did Dylan make it to dad's house???

Hi Marilynilpa! I never thought I would have the empty nest syndrome! We had 4 children that were only 5 years apart from youngest to oldest, so I was always very busy. Sometimes, I was so tired I'd fall asleep at their football games while I was sitting in the press box. LOL
But now that the last one is leaving, her daddy and I are having so many mixed emotions. I never dreamed it would feel like this. And we are approaching that 50 year old mark....middle age. And that's a time of fear and re-discovery anyway.
I keep reminding myself that life is like a roller coaster....full of ups and downs that make each day interesting. So I guess you could say I'm hanging on...and screaming! LOL

Come home, Dylan...you have all of life ahead of you!

Go with the antibiotics. I did same thing and 4 weeks in now infections with the flu. You need to be fit for that wedding. Get well soon.

Woke up this morning thinking of Dylan. Hoping that someone gives the information needed to bring Dylan home. Someone out there knows something and it is time for them to speak up.

Im not sure how far away south platte river in denver colorado is from D urango, I think like 6 hours but a body was found this morning floating in the river...probably nothing to do with this case , just wanted to share

If Dylan didn't run away, then I'm not sure what's left.
*He was abducted from Dad's home
*He tried to hitch to his friends' house (without any texts or calls to friends) and met foul play
*He had an accident and someone covered it up
*He had an argument with Dad at some point between the airport and Monday evening
