I think sunday night because his cell was turned off then!
His plans were changed for visiting his friends from Sunday night to Monday morning then changed again because he was sleeping to him be missing!

something happend!

If MY teen decided to sleep late instead of going to his friends he would have sent them a message that he would meet them later and would probably still be in bed when I came home...at 11...

the RED FLAG to me is his cell with NO activity sunday night!

If something happened on Sunday night, it would be at least conceivable that it really doesn't matter much about the Monday errands

Bender said Mark Redwine allowed investigators to look through his house on County Road 500 on other occasions.

“But the meticulous nature of the search today required a search warrant,” Bender said.

In an interview with The Durango Herald on Saturday, a few of Dylan’s friends said he had agreed to meet them in the early morning Nov. 19, but the meeting never took place.

Well, if I had stuck with following you around and just pushing my "yeah that" button I wouldn't be feeling horrible for judging Mom so harshly.

Maybe I could get you a bottle of white out so you can follow me around...

Deal but I don't want you to drink the white out. You're gonna to need it to hide anything stupid I type.

Care to elaborate on why Sunday night? Or how it might have happened? Motive? Premeditation?

Wait........are we allowed to speculate on any of those questions?

Not without Nurse getting out her huge needle after me. Its definitely NOT something I want to tackle at this point because I love Nurse and would hate to break her rules.:blowkiss:

Think this:
What 13 year old, who has been confined to a plane ride, is going to go home and be in bed by 8 or 9 pm? Not one. I had 4 children...never seen one in bed by 8 or 9, even when they were 3! LOL
No calls or texts after 8? There you go.

What do I do when my phone battery is dead? I sit next to the charger and keep on texting. The option not to text is unacceptable. Something happened Sunday night.

I wish you wouldn't be so hard on yourself; I was right in there with you, even though I wasn't posting much. I have always assumed that speculating on any and all possibilities is akin to brainstorming ideas, not making accusations. And when we move more strongly in one direction early in a case, I think we are often carried there by our own projections of what we are familiar with or relate to from our own life exposures. I have witnessed some very VERY sad and tragic cases of parental alienation that denied fathers their rights to parent and love their children and have destroyed those children for the sake of the mothers' selfish satisfaction in hurting the fathers. Because of this, I am naturally quicker to defend fathers and reserve judgement as to mothers' intentions. But it really isn't a gender issue per se, rather a personality, or personality DISORDER issue. After my initial stance to insure that neither parent's rights are trampled, I usually start to look for signs of emotional instability in one or the other. The very saddest cases of all are where there is instability or mental illness in BOTH parents or pathology in both home environments, poor children. I think such is the case of sweet 6 year old Jersey, who was recently murdered in Bentonville, Arkansas. Last year her father and stepmother were imprisoned for tying her to a dresser to sleep on a pile of rags on the floor, whereupon she was then left in the care of her mother, who left her to be babysat often by neighbors with criminal histories.

Careful scrutiny would seem to be a much better choice than disregard. If people are truly innocent of harm to a child, I would think that the scrutiny of well-intentioned concerned people would be understood as being in the best interests of the child. I would hope the main concern for an innocent parent is to have their child back safe, whatever the means.

LOLOLOL! I didn't see "white out," I just saw "white" (as in get the white wine out) and I was assuming you wanted me to follow you around with a bottle of wine! I wasn't sure if the wine was for me or you.

Silly thang! You're a mess.....

It would look baaad, since Dylan is now missing?

Where are we getting that Dad took his phone away? What reason would he have for doing that in the first place? Dad probably wasn't paying for the service, so there would be no reason IMO for Dad to assert his authority over him by taking away his phone. I just want to know where these details are coming from. Have missed parts of the last 3 threads and can't keep up.

but if LE were looking in the direction of an abduction... Then wouldn't there be a whole other approach to finding him?

such as a bolo... Amber Alert... Major MSM/media alerts for abducted person in neighboring states/off suspected highways, etc?

obviously I do not know the technical process LE goes through for finding abducted persons...

But... In other words... Wouldn't there be a more far reaching.. And urgent..Alert for Dylan?

yes yes yes yes yes

I don't think anyone is sure that Dad did take Dylan's phone away, but for SOME unknown reason, he didn't use it after 8:00pm Sunday night. So he 'may' have taken it as discipline for something. I do know (well) a stepmother who takes away her stepson's cellphones when they are visiting, mostly because she has an emotional problem with them being in text-contact with their mom while with her. I have told her I think it is wrong for her to do that. She would have had a livid fit if that had been done to HER as a stepchild. But I don't get to determine those things. Family dynamics can be stink holes. :(

I know this has probably already been asked and answered but there are sooo many pages to read so could someone help me out?

It says that there hasn't been any activity on Dylan's facebook, phone and text since the day he went missing but it also says his phone has not been used since 8pm Sunday...so did he use something Monday or is it just bad reporting?

I think he had that apointment and had to keep it!
